Infinite's mini-album [INFINITIZE]
The title song "The Chaser", written by Sweetune who is considered Infinite's best musical partner, shows a fast development and speed as its title suggests. One should note the characteristics of the song in which the lyrics and melody of Korean sentiment come in contrast with the modern and stylish beats.
As the years go by, Infinite is starting to break new records in the K-pop scene, getting rid of the bias towards idols as they show both popularity and musicality. 데뷔했을 때 남자아이돌은 거의 대형기획사 독점 수준이었는데 중소기획사 아이돌도 잘할 수 있단 걸 보여준 그룹이라고 생각한다..

Infinite is the only group in my opinion that has several songs that can be considered as the greatest kpop song of all time.

Years ago, I truly surely that the Infinite would become more famous. Their songs are great. This group make K POP still survival.
Their music style change too drastically. Plus Woolim joined SM entertainment as a sub company. This slowed them down.
@@jesskhan09 Their music is still the same and woollim split from SM back in 2016. Now they are a subsidiary of SM C&C. But yeah it's true the merger did slow them down. Some believe SM only did it to hinder INFINITE so EXO had opportunity to get big in their place.

이때가 너무 그립다 이때 시절 인피니트 뮤비는 항상 황수아 감독님이 맡으셨는데 곡 분위기에 너무 잘 맞고 신비하고 스토리도 좋아서 해석도 엄청 많았음. 어느순간부터 감독 바뀌고 특유의 분위기가 사라지고 그냥 뮤비가 됐던 ㅠㅠ

It's a shame that they never won a Daesang for this song because of Gangnam Style. They would have deserve it for the quality of the song and for their amazing live performances. Even if I'm proud of what they have accomplished (I mean they are the first boy group coming from a little company to succeed like this and they are the first Korean boy group to make it into the Billboard charts) I've always thought that INFINITE deserve more.

You know when people take dangerous drugs for the first time and experience a high so intense they end up chasing it the same feeling and become addicts ? Yeah, this song gave me that feeling. First time I heard it in my headphone full volume I thought I was actually levitating like entering paradise type of vibe and then I replayed it over and over and over and over and just like any other song on the planet your ear gets used to it and you now know the full song by heart and know exactly what’s coming.. but it’s such a masterpiece you’re still able to enjoy it. I’ll never forget hearing it for the first time. Truly inexplicable. These were the golden years of Kpop so many other songs gave me that feeling. These days.. it’s very rare..

I feel like infinite is such an underrated group. All of their songs are gold and timeless. This song still feels like it was released only yesterday, cause it's just that good.

빌보드에서 주목한 한국 아이돌 12년도 빌보드선정 k-POP 1위 13년도에 미국가서 뮤비 찍고 월드투어 하고 모그룹 국악 접목한것 보다도 추격자가 훨씬더 빨랐고 어려모로 중소기업소속사에서 물들어올때 노를 못 젓고... 유투브흥행 시기가 약간 애매한데 그럼에도 불구하고 조회수 보면 낮지는 않음 인피니트 좋아하는 해외팬들 많고 인피니트 클라스는 죽지 않음 데뷔년도 그때 같이 데뷔한 타그룹이랑 무대 수준이 다름 연말시상식도 거의 인피닛이 다 해먹음 인피니트 군대 잘다녀와서 다시 앨범 내도 국내음방 5관왕 달성하고 대박 칠 것 같다! 보고싶다 인피닛!

I've been Inspirit because of this song. It is so so so so addictive!! My favourite part is when Sungyeol catwalking with that gaze. He looks so cool in this MV and then I just found out in their variety shows that he's actually a choding. Hihihi ^^

This is going to take a bit-especially if you want to know as much as you can. So I apologize beforehand. Sorry if it seems like I’m spamming.
The poor guy flipping in the car for a full 4 minutes is Infinite’s visual L (L is his stage name). He's done dramas like "Shut Up Flower Boy Band”, “Cunning Single Lady”, and “Master’s Sun”. Unlike other kpop groups, the visual in Infinite is also multitalented. He sings pretty well, he’s a great dancer and a great actor (and let’s not forget his sexy smile). His real name is Kim Myungsoo, but he’s only called that when the emotionless, cold, chic mask that is L falls away. (Inspirits like to say that Myungsoo comes out whenever you see L laughing, acting crazy, saying nonsensical things, getting angry, or when it’s too hot). L is essentially not afraid of anything (there is a video of him trying to help a ghost-or someone dressed as a ghost- up the stairs while the other members were scared sh*tless). He is also the person in the group known for tripping and falling a lot. There are tons of compilations of his trips and falls all over RUclips. He actually got chosen on the Idol Chart Show for being the handsome idol that falls a lot on stage. We like to call it the L/Myungsoo Condition (totally different from the Onew Condition). He’ll trip/fall on stage and you’ll just see him disappear for a few second. Then, he’ll pop right back up and continue dancing as if nothing happened. You’ll know he fell when he looks at the ground with an accusing glance like “I’ll get you after the show”. Inspirits like to say that even the floor loves L. Some nicknames he’s called by: Cold City Man, Center. Ship: His best friend in Infinite seems to be Sungyeol. He is in a sub-unit called Infinite F (L, Sungyeol and Sungjong). Inspirits call this ship Myungyeol. Lastly, L’s fans are called eLements.
Kaylee Emily Micah Mauderer
The guy wearing the hoodie throughout the video is the leader of Infinite, Kim Sunggyu (also the oldest). He is one of the two main vocals in the group. He has one of the most unique voices in kpop-able to do high notes, low notes and everything in between. He’s been praised by senior kpop groups (like Super Junior) and professionals in the kpop industry for his voice and style. He is a true rocker at heart; his musical journey began in high school when he was part of a rock band. He came out with his solo album “Another Me” not too long ago. They showcase his vocals as well as his individual music style. He’s been on Immortal Songs 2 and other singing shows tons of times. He is always picked on and teased by the rest of the members and is the subject of many jokes on the show “Weekly Idol”. Although the group likes to poke and prod at him, he is very well respected (and looked up to) because Infinite’s greatness is due to the constant support, encouragement and overall amazing leadership by Sunggyu. Sunggyu worked hard and gave up a lot to get to where he is now. It’s great that he’s gaining popularity. Sunggyu is really funny and awkward (which makes him adorable). Since he’s the oldest, he gets tired easily and has a drawer full of vitamins. Here are a couple of his nicknames: GrandpaGyu, LeaderGyu, HamsterGyu (b/c he looks like a hamster-when he’s sleeping, eating, etc.), Honey Sunggyu and we cannot forget Kim Snuggle You and The Snuggly One (both nicknames given by Simon & Martina from EatYorKimchi). Ship: His closest friend is most definitely Woohyun; the two have a relationship on a whole other level. When they first met, they hated each other’s guts, but now, they trust each other the most and has the other’s back. Sunggyu seems to only act cute and do aegyo for Woohyun XD Inspirits like to call this ship Woogyu. Inspirits are also demanding that Woollim make a subunit (Infinite V) with these two b/c their voices together is like eargasm. There is no Inspirit that can dislike Sunggyu-he’s too smexy and squishy. Lastly, his fans are called Chinggyu(s).

The Chaser portrayed a complete set of action, dramatic, desperateness, romantic and longingness. I don't think new K-pop song can beat this feeling of adrenaline being pumped into your soul. This song is timeless and I also get a sense of nostalgic listening in 2022.

애들이 다 인피니트 인피니트 하는게 유치한데 한달내내 그러고 있으니 궁금하기도 해서 집가가지고 컴퓨터 켜서 처음 이 뮤비 보고 노래들은 날이 잉피에 심장 묻은 날... 크고 공부랑 다른 취미들에 덕질 멈춘 적은 있어도 잉피 말고 다른 아이돌 판 적은 없다 증말루.. 진짜 첨본 그 날 황홀+전율 못잊음 앉은자리에서 과장없이 열번 넘게 봤음 10년지났고 어릴때 것에 새 취향도 여럿 추가되고(?) 다른 음악들도 이것저것 많이 들었지만 솔직히 가장 떨리고 두근거리고 슬프고 듣는 내내 행복하게 하는 아는 노래 고르라하면 아직도 추격자임
최근에 쫑이 너무 열심히해서 추억여행하다 최근활종들까지 덕질공백기간 채우다 약간..재입덕ㅋㅋㅋㅋ했는데 사실 재입덕 전에도 주기적으로 추격자+넘많은..사랑하는곡들 보며 그때생각하러 오긴했다 ㅎㅎ 잘 활동했으면 좋겠다 함서 멀리서(?) 구경+응원...하기도 했구

Funny story: I saw this guy in my school walking with a tablet in the halls and looked down at the screen and I saw Korean so I kept looking. I realized he was watching THIS video and I got so happy, so I told him that I listen to Infinite too.
