Yes, but there was no death threats, no full out harassment and no telling people to "kill themselves" or any degrading words like there is now, I mean fan wars have escalated to the point where Idols have to step in and take legal action...So maybe it's never been a happy place but it's sure as hell escalated and become something harmful...
The younger fans won’t ever understand how many incredible and absolute legendary songs came from this era. Everyone talks how kpop songs nowdays are all singles made to over saturated the market, you play them constantly over a 2-3 years and they are forgotten, even by their own loyal fans. This era has such longevity and quality.

New kpop fans will never understand how gold kpop was although they can watch the MVs later but they didn't live in that era which was the best and gold of kpop era. Nowaday kpop groups make sick of kpop, they are all the same and I don't know I feel they don't have their own style, they mainly make music for marketing and sell. except exo and GOT7. And fandoms are so crazy, the old gen I love every group, each fandoms support each other NOT too much selfish like this (Justy personal opinion and experience) And the songs from that era were so gold and it's not easily get boring. Yes, NU'EST fan here, albeit I am huge U-KISS fan too, I am happy for NU'EST success they managed to come back to fame recently, but alas U-KISS don't fare so good and I feel very bad for them, these are like my two fave groups that I support and I wish them success as well, well U-KISS went away from K-POP a while ago, but I like their music style

I hate how U kiss has become less appreciated now that there are other bands... Super Junior is still super popular and they've been a band since like what 1995? But U Kiss has been around a while now and a lot of people don't even know who they are anymore. It's truly sad... And personally they're one of the best in my opinion because they have good vocalists, rappers and they're exceptionally good at dancing! Desi Manihuruk u kiss was the first, so in a sense bts pied piper was inspired? Actually a lot of newer kpop bands did a lot of things that u kiss started first. the problem was u kiss didn't get recognized of those efforts. like the thigh grabbing dance move? mono scandal 2014 but that dance itself only got popular when a newer boyband did it.
A seriously underrated group right here, extremely underrated, they have brilliant songs, brilliant routines and a brilliant amount of love for their fans, yet for some weird and unknown reason they aren't as respect on the music scene as they should be, they give us 200% in performances, they sing fully live (some groups should try it instead of just dancing and miming), they give their all in the dance routines and still they remain so underrated, It's time for the kpop scene to stop being biased towards groups from the bigger companies (We all know it happens) and it's time to give hardworking underrated groups (not saying popular groups don't work hard, because they do) like U-Kiss the recognition they deserve. woah. I was obsessed with kpop when I was young. I stopped for about a year when on hiatus haha. i came back and I struggled to find this song since I forgot the title. I'm seriously in tears right now because I finally found the song I used to dance to when I was younger. ;-;
I also went on a hiatus for nearly 2 years... I did still listen in BIGBANG, SHINee and EXO when their new songs came out but I kinda left because I got into EDM music. Also because SHINee and BIGBANG weren't making new group songs at the time, they were all on their own and it annoyed me a little bit. Still supported them though :)

to KISSME (or anyone in general) who dont know, they got hurt a lot while filming this music video because it was the hardest choreography they had done... and they still won nothing for it. ive been a KISSME for nine years and counting. I have about 10 UKISS albums and still collecting! i wish for all new kpop stans to listen to UKISS and other groups from this era that werent as popular because they were so good!! UKISS is still my all time favorite group. they got me through a lot of hard times in my life and i wouldnt trade my time being a KISSME for anything in the world.... in case you guys don't know, Soohyun left the group but promotes as a solo artist in Japan!! Jun also is a rising actor right now and releases his own solo music so if you love UKISS, please support them still! And then a few years after that i watched Infinite's BTD for the first time during Music Bank live. Truly a fun and memorable experience

@@sovereignboss1841 this is a great generation of kpop! i became a fan around when second generation started so its what i mostly know. ukiss was my favorite group so i can tell you all about them! theyre not very active right now because they only have two members left, but most of the members still keep in touch and release solo music!
Soohyun is still in U-KISS after finishing his military service in September 2019, and U-KISS members have been consistently topping music charts with their releases ever since then 😊

I hate how U kiss has become less appreciated now that there are other bands... Super Junior is still super popular and they've been a band since like what 1995? But U Kiss has been around a while now and a lot of people don't even know who they are anymore. It's truly sad... And personally they're one of the best in my opinion because they have good vocalists, rappers and they're exceptionally good at dancing! I hope people remember how good they are and they're as good as any new kpop band if not better then some.

네버랜드는 당시에도 띵곡이었고, 만만하니 이후로 상당히 선전하고 주목받던 곡. 이 때 확실히 입지를 다졌어야 했는데, 12년도 때 일본 활동으로 넘어가서 그런지 이후로 입지가 애매해졌던걸로 기억.
나름 해외에서는 입지가 탄탄하나 국내에서는 인기가 별로 없었던게 미스테리. 파란이라는 그룹 때도 그렇고 소속사가 참 일을 못하는 것 같다고 생각.

There are a lot of aspects about this, like music, MV, costume, choreography, makeup, that American Music cannot pull of, or even newer generation of BG & GG. This is only belong to U-kiss.
Side note, somehow I get BTS - Pied Piper feel to this, maybe bc of the lyrics of this song.
Desi Manihuruk u kiss was the first, so in a sense bts pied piper was inspired? Actually a lot of newer kpop bands did a lot of things that u kiss started first. the problem was u kiss didn't get recognized of those efforts. like the thigh grabbing dance move? mono scandal 2014 but that dance itself only got popular when a newer boyband did it.
A seriously underrated group right here, extremely underrated, they have brilliant songs, brilliant routines and a brilliant amount of love for their fans, yet for some weird and unknown reason they aren't as respect on the music scene as they should be, they give us 200% in performances, they sing fully live (some groups should try it instead of just dancing and miming), they give their all in the dance routines and still they remain so underrated, It's time for the kpop scene to stop being biased towards groups from the bigger companies (We all know it happens) and it's time to give hardworking underrated groups (not saying popular groups don't work hard, because they do) like U-Kiss the recognition they deserve. I've always been a KISSME and will continue to be.

to KISSME (or anyone in general) who dont know, they got hurt a lot while filming this music video because it was the hardest choreography they had done... and they still won nothing for it. ive been a KISSME for nine years and counting. I have about 10 UKISS albums and still collecting! i wish for all new kpop stans to listen to UKISS and other groups from this era that werent as popular because they were so good!! UKISS is still my all time favorite group. they got me through a lot of hard times in my life and i wouldnt trade my time being a KISSME for anything in the world.... in case you guys don't know, Soohyun left the group but promotes as a solo artist in Japan!! Jun also is a rising actor right now and releases his own solo music so if you love UKISS, please support them still! I fear disbandment is creeping up on them but I will never stop supporting my boys. I will be a KISSME forever! 유키스 영원히 사랑해요~

Idk why but kpop these days just dont hit like the old days. I started with shinee's ring ding dong, i literally had a kpop fever at that time. It was like going down into a rabbit hole lol. And then a few years after that i watched Infinite's BTD for the first time during Music Bank live. Truly a fun and memorable experience
이 노래까지가 아마 대중적으로 먹혔던거 같고 이 다음부터 점점 밀린거로 기억..아마 네버랜드(2011)-돌아돌아(2012)-스탑걸(2012) 순이었던거로 기억 마지막으로 기억나는게 2012년 스탑걸임.
2013년부터 타이틀곡 제목보니까 진짜 처음듣는게 많은걸 봐서는 2012~부터 일본활동에 집중했던듯? 일본에서는 인기 계속 유지했었나보네요 2019년까지 일본에서 앨범 냈던걸로 봐서는..ㅎㄷㄷ
