I have a question. In number 12, I wrote the German name. And I live in Germany, therefore my main source of information is in German. Does that count as a win? It would be my 17th point. But still pretty impressive I guess, because I haven’t ever played a Zelda game.
I disagree with the answer for #1. The answer that we were given at the end was "The Sealed Temple." While this is technically correct, the Master Sword was blessed in the past when it was still known as "The Temple of Hylia." Aside from that, the only question I got wrong was the one asking how many games Tingle is in. Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures are the only Zelda games I haven't played, so I didn't know that Tingle was in the game.
I wasn't even born when the old Zelda games came out, so I never played these. My first game was the Majora's Mask remake! Also in Majora's Mask the Fairy is called Taya in german. Can I count it as a point, when I wrote that as answer?

Me: has several severe memory disorders that causes me to sometimes even forget who I am or not recognise my own home. A huge Zelda fan title is good for a person only playing BoTW and knowing the Zelda series for a year and a half 😁 I am on the quest to knowing the Zelda timeline and just need to learn the downfall timeline and that’s it 😆
The Downfall Timeline is my favorite. Especially if you play Ocarina of Time all the way through before playing A Link to the Past. Trust me it's worth it as in the timeline A Link to the Past comes directly after Ocarina of Time even though A Link to the Past came out in 91, and oot in 98.
Yeah I've only really gotten into the series recently as of Breath of the Wild but I've been playing since 2014. I've only beat three of the games PH,LA,BotW and have played ST, OoT, MM, the original, Zelda 2, LttP, LBW, and the horrid triforce heroes. I got huge Zelda Fan too!

The game is all about collecting different outfits for certain abilities and lifting a curse on princess Styla which makes her wear an ugly outfit, a curse that was cast upon her by an evil witch. The game never really gets better than that other than the fact that certain outfits are cool, and some dungeon designs utilize the co-op gameplay awesomely but other than that it's terrible lol.
I got so caught up in trying to remember which actor OoT Link is based on (Leonardo DiCaprio) that I completely forgot about Link originally being inspired by Peter Pan in design xD, not that that not making that mistake would have helped me get above being a "Huge Zelda fan" (only got 14-ish points :P )
20/20 squad coming in here Edit: the silver rupee question almost got me because the series is a bit inconsistent with the it’s rupee denominations, in particular whether it’s silver or orange being 100. So I had to think about it but then I was like, “well I can’t think of there even being orange in BOTW, so silver must be 100” and yeeee
@@CaptBurgerson Nah there's no orange rupees in BOTW. I know a ton about the game. I'd like to say I know just about everything about it, but it's BOTW so I can't say that. Anyway BOTW has the green, blue, red, purple, silver, and gold rupees, no orange or yellow.
20/20. Thought it'd be a bit tougher. Though I did have to pause and think a bit on a couple because of how they were phrased. Also, the first question could technically have 2 answers as it does have a different name in the era in which the sword was blessed.
The question about Ganondorf's Sword was SUPER tricky. The name only appears in Breath of the Wild when using the Ganondorf Amiibo. My answer was "The Executioner's Sword." 😂
20/20 of course. You should create a quiz of more obscure Zelda trivia, that would be fun. Stuff that you wouldn’t know just by casually playing the game, but instead would have to really engage with the characters and the world. Edit: fixed a typo
I just wanted to say, I got 18/20 when I have only played Ocarina of Time, Breath of the Wild, Triforce Heroes, Majora's Mask, and the Hyrule Warriors games. I would have never got this far if it wasn't for Zeldatubers like Hyrule Gamer, MaskedNintendoBandit, Zeldamaster, Zeltik, Nintendo Black Crisis, Monster Maze, RFMH, Croton, and so much more. Thank you for letting me play games that I have never played before. You are the ones who got me into this series in the first place.
Just a suggestion for content like this. Given the video format it makes little sense to have word questions. By that I mean it would be a better use to have people shown a video clip and asked a question based upon the clip. "Where is this location?" "What item do you get from this quest" "What game is this music from?" Things like that. Also, it would make more sense to give the answer after each question as you can just keep score on your fingers rather than needing to write down answers. Far more friendly to viewers watching on mobile devices while out and about.
I had no problem with the video format. Word questions are fine and some of these questions wouldn't work with just clips. I can see a mix of word questions and questions based on images working well.
agreed with Angie, this was a pretty nice quiz. But I'd be down for a sequel with audiovisual questions included into the mix. Finger counting might have limitations though. Past 10 questions it might be easy to lose track. Problem worsens when you think on mobile people out and about, they have to hold the phone with the other hand lol

I've never played any of the games, except maybe Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time (both like 30 seconds each, nothing more, and it wasn't even the beginning of any of the two.)
Taking this quiz just made me realize I need to keep playing more Zelda games. That tingle question really got me! I got WW, MM, and TMC, but I haven’t played Four Swords or Ages or Seasons, so I didn’t know tingle was in any of them
dang it, I just couldn't remember the names of Labrynna, Malladus, and I forgot that Tingle was in Oracle of Ages. so close! I don't feel bad though. Like you said, we are all Zelda fans, and the amount of arbitrary information we can remember at the top of our heads at any given point in time doesn't change that
18/20 Yay im a MEGA Zelda fan! I only missed two. But once I got the answers I was like "Ohhhh" I've been a Zelda fan since I was born (no seriously) I've watched my parents play them growing up, and then when I was about 4 years old I started playing them myself!

if you decided to explore the forest more before heading to the castle you could quite easily learn srias song before Zeldas lullaby, however, that is not the way the game intends you to learn them.
Man, I've played every Zelda game and I got 14/20. Little details like the number of times Tingle has appeared and the value of a colored-rupee got me. I loved this kind of video! You should do more!

HUGE ZELDA FAN-13.5 (Didn't not write Labrynna but wrote Labrintha, so gave partial credit and then said Sword of the Sages instead of 6 Sages, so gave partial credit) Not only was this quiz fun but also interesting Zelda lore for those who don't know everything. The trickiest would probably be locations since I knew where the Master Sword was fully powered up, but could not name the location. I also had to go on a search to see about Saria's song and realized that it was not the first song.
How fun! 18/20 :) The Tingle question stumped me! I forgot he was in OoA and I haven't played FSA yet. I did debate whether the Twilight Princess tingle counted. He has a different name, but developers confirmed in interviews that they designed him thinking "what would Tingle look like in a more mature Zelda game?" :)
I got a score of 14, which I think is great considering I've only ever played 5 Zelda games. I would like to debate the answer for Question 1. I said the Temple of Hylia, which is the former name of the Sealed Temple. And since Zelda blessed the Master Sword in the past, at the time, they were in the Temple of Hylia. I'm not sure why I'm bothering with this since I think both answers would be acceptable. I just can't stop myself from pointing this out.
17 out of 20. Gotta say this was super fun! It also reminded me I need to actually beat some of these Zelda games instead of play until about halfway or close to the end (for clarification I haven't beaten SS, TP, TMC, the DS games, FSA, ALTTP, ALBW, the Oracle games and (sadly) WW)

15/20 .. A bit worse than I'd like to admit. Failed number 7, 13, 14, 15 and 18 Huge Zelda fan, I'll take it. For some reason, even though I KNOW the sages from OOT I just couldn't recall Nabooru's name... If I had it'd be 16 points.
The only games I haven't played are Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Four Sword Adventures... So, basically, 4 questions that I didn't have a personal connection, besides Q2's character showing up in Hyrule Warriors. I got 17, so 85%, so I literally did my best. I'm a Mega Zelda Fan, I guess.

This was fun! You should make one of these for each game. I’m glad I’m mega Zelda fan even though I haven’t played all the games yet, but I do know stuff about them.
I really enjoyed this quiz, although I got 17/20 🤣... You can make an even more challenging one though, with obscure facts, that'd be cool... For example, Question 20 is an obscure fact imo... Some other obscure fact questions can be: what tv show is Link's Awakening based on (Lynch's twin peaks), what was the original song intended to be the overworld song in the very first Zelda game for NES (Ravel's Bolero, which wasn't used bc the copyright for the song hadn't expired yet), from which race is Talon's wife in OoT (it's implied to be a Gerudo), which famous game is a spiritual successor of what Miyamoto really wanted Zelda to be (Surprisingly, Animal Crossing), etc. etc.
15/20 not too shabby I guess. Also I really liked this change of pace from theories and speculation (not that they’re bad or I’m getting tired of them, some variety is nice is all) would like to see more quizzes and other things of that nature in the future. Thanks, and keep up the good work! 👍🏻

I got 18 questions correct! I missed question #1 because I forgot the exact name of the location, and missed #13 because I don't really pay attention to Tingle's appearance (I pretend he isn't there unless it's convenient, plus I haven't played every game he's been in). Edit: the silver rupee question almost got me because the series is a bit inconsistent with the it’s rupee denominations, in particular whether it’s silver or orange being 100. So I had to think about it but then I was like, “well I can’t think of there even being orange in BOTW, so silver must be 100” and yeeee

@@CaptBurgerson Nah there's no orange rupees in BOTW. I know a ton about the game. I'd like to say I know just about everything about it, but it's BOTW so I can't say that. Anyway BOTW has the green, blue, red, purple, silver, and gold rupees, no orange or yellow.

I just wanted to say, I got 18/20 when I have only played Ocarina of Time, Breath of the Wild, Triforce Heroes, Majora's Mask, and the Hyrule Warriors games. I would have never got this far if it wasn't for Zeldatubers like Hyrule Gamer, MaskedNintendoBandit, Zeldamaster, Zeltik, Nintendo Black Crisis, Monster Maze, RFMH, Croton, and so much more. Thank you for letting me play games that I have never played before. You are the ones who got me into this series in the first place.

Just a suggestion for content like this. Given the video format it makes little sense to have word questions. By that I mean it would be a better use to have people shown a video clip and asked a question based upon the clip. "Where is this location?" "What item do you get from this quest" "What game is this music from?" Things like that.
Also, it would make more sense to give the answer after each question as you can just keep score on your fingers rather than needing to write down answers. Far more friendly to viewers watching on mobile devices while out and about.
Noted for next time, I was suggested that format and will likely try it another time :)
I had no problem with the video format. Word questions are fine and some of these questions wouldn't work with just clips. I can see a mix of word questions and questions based on images working well.
agreed with Angie, this was a pretty nice quiz. But I'd be down for a sequel with audiovisual questions included into the mix.
Finger counting might have limitations though. Past 10 questions it might be easy to lose track. Problem worsens when you think on mobile people out and about, they have to hold the phone with the other hand lol

if you decided to explore the forest more before heading to the castle you could quite easily learn srias song before Zeldas lullaby, however, that is not the way the game intends you to learn them.

Man, I've played every Zelda game and I got 14/20. Little details like the number of times Tingle has appeared and the value of a colored-rupee got me. I loved this kind of video! You should do more!

I disagree with the answer for #1.
The answer that we were given at the end was "The Sealed Temple." While this is technically correct, the Master Sword was blessed in the past when it was still known as "The Temple of Hylia."
Aside from that, the only question I got wrong was the one asking how many games Tingle is in. Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures are the only Zelda games I haven't played, so I didn't know that Tingle was in the game.

HUGE ZELDA FAN-13.5 (Didn't not write Labrynna but wrote Labrintha, so gave partial credit and then said Sword of the Sages instead of 6 Sages, so gave partial credit) Not only was this quiz fun but also interesting Zelda lore for those who don't know everything. The trickiest would probably be locations since I knew where the Master Sword was fully powered up, but could not name the location. I also had to go on a search to see about Saria's song and realized that it was not the first song.

How fun! 18/20 :) The Tingle question stumped me! I forgot he was in OoA and I haven't played FSA yet. I did debate whether the Twilight Princess tingle counted. He has a different name, but developers confirmed in interviews that they designed him thinking "what would Tingle look like in a more mature Zelda game?" :)

I got a score of 14, which I think is great considering I've only ever played 5 Zelda games. I would like to debate the answer for Question 1. I said the Temple of Hylia, which is the former name of the Sealed Temple. And since Zelda blessed the Master Sword in the past, at the time, they were in the Temple of Hylia. I'm not sure why I'm bothering with this since I think both answers would be acceptable. I just can't stop myself from pointing this out.

The only games I haven't played are Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Four Sword Adventures... So, basically, 4 questions that I didn't have a personal connection, besides Q2's character showing up in Hyrule Warriors.

I really enjoyed this quiz, although I got 17/20 🤣... You can make an even more challenging one though, with obscure facts, that'd be cool... For example, Question 20 is an obscure fact imo... Some other obscure fact questions can be: what tv show is Link's Awakening based on (Lynch's twin peaks), what was the original song intended to be the overworld song in the very first Zelda game for NES (Ravel's Bolero, which wasn't used bc the copyright for the song hadn't expired yet), from which race is Talon's wife in OoT (it's implied to be a Gerudo), which famous game is a spiritual successor of what Miyamoto really wanted Zelda to be (Surprisingly, Animal Crossing), etc. etc.
15/20 not too shabby I guess. Also I really liked this change of pace from theories and speculation (not that they’re bad or I’m getting tired of them, some variety is nice is all) would like to see more quizzes and other things of that nature in the future. Thanks, and keep up the good work! 👍🏻

Today I learned that TP Ganondorf's sword has a name. 16/20.
I know if you have the Ganondorf amiibo and scan it into BOTW you have the chance to get the sword from it but I had a hard time getting into TP so I definitely didn't get that answer
I got 18 questions correct! I missed question #1 because I forgot the exact name of the location, and missed #13 because I don't really pay attention to Tingle's appearance (I pretend he isn't there unless it's convenient, plus I haven't played every game he's been in).
