Thank you so much for this recipe. My puris were perfect! They were soft on the inside but still crunchy on the outside and had such a great flavor that I had to make a batch for teatime. Thank you also for including tips and thorough explanations - they are so helpful. I was so tempted to add extra flour while kneading the dough, but I’m so glad I did not because they did come together in a softish dough after a bit of kneading. If I added the extra flour I bet they would have not had the right texture or balance of flavors. Please keep making recipes and please let your personality shine through. You are such a calming and compassionate voice during uncertain times. I’m grateful to have found your channel.
Ty so much . I tried it today n it is super duper. We just couldnt stop eating it n its half finished already. Yes, as in earlier comment, your recipes are fool proof..i tried your chole bhature also. God bless. Ty for sharing.
This is the first aloo puri I found. I always want to order in restaurant but they only have plain puri with yogurt which I don’t like. Thank you for this video. Very authentic, informative, clear instructions and made very well that produce high quality result.
Cookingshooking food channel is the one place stop for me. The host takes great pains to show the best way to make a dish. I have tried several receipts and you rock. The best show. Keep 'em coming!!!!
I tried it and it turned out really well everyone in my family liked it even my younger son who is very selective .Thanks for this awesome recipe. Pls give some good recipe of millets. They are really healthy and I wanna try making them.
Hi, and again thank you so much for this easy and quick recepy,I live/work in middle eastern country, where there is no Indian taste of restaurant, and I need to feel Indian taste, I make this today must say remind me my home (Gujarat) taste. I decided to make this aloo poori eveyweek. I would love to share pictures with you too. So tasty and yamii....😋. Once again thank you so all easy and quick recepy
Yaman ji: I have learned so much about Indian cooking from watching you! Thank you so much for the treasure trove of recipes you've shared with us, and for your delightful, endearing personality
Cooking shooking thanks for sharing. It's not that I am zero in cooking, but as a matter of fact like to follow and appreciate others recipes too. Apart from cakes, I am a best chef. Keep it up
I am watching you for the past three years.i first saw your red velvet cake.bhai tu to Kamaal hai.mera ashirwad hai.chalto raho, khoob khanna aur sikhana.
Yaman ji: I have learned so much about Indian cooking from watching you! Thank you so much for the treasure trove of recipes you've shared with us, and for your delightful, endearing personality. I just wanted to ask if you've ever heard of a potato ricer. It's a really useful gadget that would produce a similar result to your grating the potatoes, but take less time and effort. Just a suggestion to help save some time!
Wow loved it... I am big lover of your recipes.. Also I love baking... Will u pls put some video of Baking ... Especially any bread item like bread rolls or bread sticks... Crunchy but soft inside...
Hi Chef. Thanks for introducing this recipe. Just came across your videos 2 days ago. This afternoon was not sure what to cook for lunch and very thankful I tried your recipe. I served it with raita n tamarind sauce. Although many of my pooris did not puff up completely...for those that did...I opened the top and placed raita n tamarind sauce. Dahi aloo poori...nice. Only problem I faced was the dough was too soft when rolling. Any feedback of what could have gone wrong?
Glad to hear from you. For puffed puris, roll the dough little thick and fry it in high flame. For the soft dough, add less water while making the dough, that should help, and roll it with light hands
Superb!!!.. This was an awesome recipe. I tried it last week and it turned out great. My kids just loved it(I just skip the chillies ☺️)...This was a 5 star dish... Thanks.
Your recipe is perfect and turns out well! All the other home chefs on RUclips concentrate on presentation but the recipe never tastes well. Especially, the paneer Biryani I tried from Hebbars Kitchen failed terribly. Yours came out like restaurant style! Too good
It looks good, I make something like it called fry bake, we use baking powder and yeast to make ours puff up and stay soft. I will definitely try yours. Tkx.
I'm a new subscriber. Tried out your nankhatai(i usually use only maida) & it was excellent.Made aloo puri yesterday night- v different from normal puris & liked it.Fried the left over puris this morning & it became an excellent crispy snack.Very happy trying out recipes from somebody as old as my son.Planning to try out other recipes too. All the best to u.God bless !!!
sir i am huge fan of yours and i watch all ur recepies and they are all with a carving taste.... i wanted to know the recepie of sponge cake and baloon bhatoora same as shown in ur tik tok video plz can u tell me
Dear brother, I like your recipes too much. They are very tasty and on top of that they are easy to cook. Bro I was wondering if you could make shaadi waale aaloo matar ki sabji.. please please
Hey.....I made it and it turned out so perfect.......thankyou for the recipe ......my mom & dad praised me a lot 🤗🤗 while eating the puris ..... Cheers 👍👍
Looks delicious! I have seen a recipe that it's this type of mixture but they stuffed veggies inside then deep fried them. Do you have a recipe to share that is like that? The one I saw didn't use spices. What spices would you use?
I'll try a stuffed puri as well Dacia :) Stay tuned :) Indian food is incomplete without spices.. just that when making stuffed ones, you add the spices into the filling instead of the dough. The dough shall have only the salt. You can add the same spices and add a bit of turmeric as well
CookingShooking thank you! I enjoy your recipes. You always explain things very well and really seem too enjoy cooking as well. I appreciate your reply. I want to try to make your dishes. We don't have Indian food even in take away where I am. I live in Missouri in the USA. I'm buying spices as I see them being used so I have them on hand. Thank you again for making these helpful videos. Good bless you and everything you do. :)
