As a rural citizen, I am so thankful for Starlink. I’ve never had such good service living so far from town until Starlink became an option in our area.

I live in rural Australia. Our internet before Starlink was terrible, basicaly useless for business. STARLINK has been an absolute game changer for us and puts remote people on par with city dwellers. It also means workers can decentralise from congested cities to work. Elon is our hero.

I'm Aussie as well and I use starlink. The business i work for also used starlink after the floods when all the infrastructure was unavaliable or so slow you couldn't get anything done. It's fast reliable and perfectly adequate for gaming applications. Of course fibre is better but unless you live in the city you are out of luck for fibre unless you want to pay thousands for it to be installed.

Years ago AT&T got something like $2.5 billion to install fiber optic cable across America - they never delivered, & that money never recovered. The individuals needing it, not so much.

Years ago AT&T got something like $2.5 billion to install fiber optic cable across America - they never delivered, & that money never recovered. This Starlink wasn't expected to be available until 2025 - it's not even there yet - let them build it out, then you can subsidize the individuals needing the service. Starlink can afford this. The individuals needing it, not so much.
I see where you're coming from, but it doesn't make any sense as he would not have built out the infrastructure to rural areas without subsidies, it would not have been worth it. This is just harassment and it's hurting the people you want to protect.
