@@cyboogie1710 You should signal and look over your shoulder to check your blind spot when you drive to the side of the road to begin a maneuver, and then do it again when you re-enter traffic. You aren't required to signal while you're backing around a corner. Good luck!
If you hit the curb or drive one wheel onto the curb, the examiner will deduct 4 points. If you drive two or more wheels onto the curb or off the road, then it is an automatic failure of the test.
will i get failed if i use my left foot for the brake and right for the gas when driving. not on the brake check obviously but when just normally driving
You're supposed to use the right foot for the brakes too. I think you can at least expect to get scored for mechanical operation, which is a two point deduction. If it causes issues with your driving or safety it could lead to a test failure.
It’s nice to know that parallel parking and backing around a corner are not worth a lot of points
Great point! Most people don't know this, and it causes a lot of anxiety for them because these are the most difficult maneuvers on the test.
im glad i came across this video because i literally bombed parallel parking and backing around a corner but got a 92% haha
@@samuelcho9903 You nailed it! Judging by your score those were probably the only parts they scored you on. Way to go!
Taking my test today, hopefully I’ll pass and great advice!
You've got this! Good luck!
@@washingtonstatedrivingtest3442 passed with a 90%, thanks for the tips!

@@tamyapolite931 You're welcome, I hope it helps. Good luck!
Ok I take mine tomorrow but do they want me to use my blinkers when I’m backing around a corner and when I’m going back onto the road?

Update: passed my test with a 98! Only got 2 points taken for distance with parallel parking
Wow, outstanding work! Congratulations!
what if i hit the curb/go up on the curb during back around a corner?
