Kitesurfer Almost Drowns, Monster Waves at One Eye in Mauritius!

In July 2017 there were Monster waves at the infamous One Eye surf break in Mauritius. A sole kitesurfer accidentally drifted into the dangerous surf and was very lucky to have survived. Some of these waves appear to be 5 metres or bigger! Local kitesurfer Willow-River Shakes Tonkin was on the scene to help him!
Let this be a lesson to anyone attempting to kitesurf in light winds in large waves... Bad Idea!
