- Through this channel, food from around the world is cooked in traditional Sri Lankan ways using Sri Lankan spices. I am bringing you how to prepare even new types of food in a rustic way with a rustic taste. Also I show how the people of our country used to cook and live in the traditional way.
Some opportunities of the current lifestyle are also presented here. However, I create videos by giving priority to the past, tradition and customs.
Don't think that all this is 100% the past. I would also like to say that there are some flaws and differences due to an attempt to recreate the past from the present.

It's summertime. But hilly areas get rain almost every day. Along with all this, the green trees are full of yellow Starfruits.
It is not a food that can be eaten at will. Because of a fruit that lowers her sugar level. Even if you eat one or two, the rest will surely fall down the tree.
So I made some of our traditional dishes with Starfruits. Here you can also see how they are preserved and used for a long time.
All of you who have come to enjoy the taste of kamaranga in the evergreen highlands will be warmly welcomed as usual.
(Those with low sugar levels should use it with proper knowledge.)
ඉස්සර විදියට බැලුවොත් නම් නිකිනි මහේ ග්‍රීස්මෙ ලං වෙමින් තියෙන්නෙ. හැබැයි ඉතිං උඩරට කදුකරයට නම් නිතරදෙවේලේ අඩු නැතුව වැසි ලැබෙනවා. මේ ඔක්කෝමත් එක්ක කොලපාට ගස් පුරාකහ පාට කාමරංගා වැහි වැහැලා.
හිතුමතේ හිතු මනාපෙට කන්න පුලුවන් කෑමකුත් නෙවෙයිනේ. ඇගේ සීනි මට්ටම අඩු කරන පලතුරක් නිසා. එකක් දෙකක් කෑවත් ඉතිරි ඔක්කෝම ගස් පල්ලෙ නිරපරාදෙ වැටිලා යනවා.
හැබෑවටම පැණිරසටයි ලුණු රසටයි හුරු වුන ජාතියක් හැටියට ඔන්න මේ තමයි ඒ රහ ඇති පදමට කන්න පුලුවන් කාලේ. මොකද ඉතිං කෑමට බීමට කාමරංගා ගෙඩියක් දෙකක් එක් කරගන්න ගමන් ඇති පදමට සීනි කන්න මෙන්න හොද අවස්ථාව .
ග්‍රීස්මයක් නොදැනෙන සදාහරිත උඩරට කදුකරයේ කාමරංගා වාරෙ හැඩ , රස විදගන්න අදත් ආදරෙන් පිළිගන්නවා.

(අඩු සීනි මට්ටම් තියෙන අය නිසි දැනුමක් ඇතුව පාවිච්චි කරන්න ඕනෙ පලතුරක් කියලා පරිස්සමෙන් මතක තියාගන්නත් ඕනෙ. )
ඉස්සර ගස් යට වැටිලා ඌරන්ට රස ආහාරයක් වෙච්ච කාමරංගාවල අගය නුතන පරම්පරාව හඳුනාගෙන. ඌරොත් ආසයි අපේ කාමරංගා කන්න. කන්ද උඩරටනේ.😂
