I have a Praise Report!! My sister-in-law was in a medical induced coma for over 2 weeks and is now doing well enough to be moved to a regular floor. She has a long road ahead of her. Asking y'all to please pray for her as she learns to use her hands again. Thank you in advance. God Bless.
Also almost a month ago I asked y'all to pray for my father and law with his journey he has been on dealing with throat cancer well he went Thursday and had the mass that had grown on his soft pallet removed and his soft pallet reconstructed and he was able to go home yesterday from the hospital.
Rarely are there people especially married people who are both beautiful inside and outside, you two are both. I just watched ur trip to meet Shane’s father’s family. That was so moving ❤️. I hope you and Shane will end up two old married couple sitting on ur porch holding hands one day. Watch out for the dreadful midlife crisis. There are so many women out there who will attempt to steal away a good man from his family. I know this because I’m 67 I’ve lived it. So always cherish each other and never ever ever take anything or each other for granted. I think you are the best thing to happen in Shane’s life and he was smart enough to see it and jump in and grab it. You Marina are gorgeous. Shane’ is a handsome man. Treat each other well. Too many people will want in on what u have since you are on utube, you will be recognized. Stay safe love those babies and always be yourselves. Let no other destroy you and your dreams. 'Merina if you want to do the herringbone here's a suggestion I saw online. Paint the wall black then put tape on the wall in whatever design you want. Then paint the wall white and pull the tape off immediately after you're done painting. You'll have black lines that are crisp and straight.

as much as sharpie is hard to get off, it does smear. I would run a quick coat of clear poly acrylic over the walls. bc if u need to wash it , it will smear. loving this new look for your home!

I've been waiting for this to add some joy to my evening! My 90 yr old father passed on Thursday and tonight my daughter is back in the hospital with three clots in her lungs and the flu, after back surgery this past Tuesday. When it rains, it pours.

You've really transformed your new home! It's great that you have such a great partner in Shane to help you bring the concepts in your mind into material reality, and a man who loves you so and lets the whole world know! 😍 It's great for your children to see you doing all of these projects together and to know their parents love each other. 😊 Glad you finally got the design you were aiming for with the chevron accent wall after all of your efforts, and it makes you happy. It's interesting because although you are gravitating towards a calm, subdued, home decor and style trend, you're bringing in more high energy elements - white paint, pointy designs. You have a nice balance, and going with the thinner lines in your chevron pattern, too, brings added interest to the wall and that small hallway area without being as intense as a thicker connected chevron pattern would be. It's interesting to me too, that energetically your current home is a subtle departure from the energetic elements that you were attracted to in your last home - still very neutral, but warmer neutrals, darker wood (Jacobean vs Walnut), and the black accent wall (which I really liked 😊). Also, it's interesting to me that what I see you coming up with in your style actually does bear some similarity to the decor style of the late 1980s - early 1990s with a nod to the crisper "country" style with the lighter toned woods, neutrals, and brighter paint. There were sort of different ends of the spectrum - one where it was lighter, brighter, and more neutral, with natural materials like baskets and dried botanicals playing into the decor, could be described as more minimal, and on the other end there was more of the wallpaper, florals (rose and country blue), and more of a maximalist vibe with all of the things. (Observations from a student of feng shui) Anyway, good job making your new home into a place that you all love! Side Note: I generally like chevron designs too, but lately, for me, I find myself averse to designs that look too "pointy" to me. I bought some (kind of neutral) geometric patterned curtains a year or so ago from Amazon, and after looking at many pictures of them in other people's homes, I was confident that I liked them, but when they were hanging in my home, the pattern and its "pointiness" was visually overwhelming to me. They came down within days, and I put up solid colored curtains.
I watch your channel all the time. I truly enjoy watching you guys working together as a team. Your fun and both of you respect for each other. What a great example for all couples.

Buy chevron stencils..might work better. The different thicknesses of lines would drive me crazy. Or attach painted pieces of wood to the wall 😊

as much as sharpie is hard to get off, it does smear. I would run a quick coat of clear poly acrylic over the walls. bc if u need to wash it , it will smear. loving this new look for your home!

I've been waiting for this to add some joy to my evening! My 90 yr old father passed on Thursday and tonight my daughter is back in the hospital with three clots in her lungs and the flu, after back surgery this past Tuesday. When it rains, it pours.

It's great that you have such a great partner in Shane to help you bring the concepts in your mind into material reality, and a man who loves you so and lets the whole world know! 😍 It's great for your children to see you doing all of these projects together and to know their parents love each other. 😊
Glad you finally got the design you were aiming for with the chevron accent wall after all of your efforts, and it makes you happy. It's interesting because although you are gravitating towards a calm, subdued, home decor and style trend, you're bringing in more high energy elements - white paint, pointy designs. You have a nice balance, and going with the thinner lines in your chevron pattern, too, brings added interest to the wall and that small hallway area without being as intense as a thicker connected chevron pattern would be. It's interesting to me too, that energetically your current home is a subtle departure from the energetic elements that you were attracted to in your last home - still very neutral, but warmer neutrals, darker wood (Jacobean vs Walnut), and the black accent wall (which I really liked 😊). Also, it's interesting to me that what I see you coming up with in your style actually does bear some similarity to the decor style of the late 1980s - early 1990s with a nod to the crisper "country" style with the lighter toned woods, neutrals, and brighter paint. There were sort of different ends of the spectrum - one where it was lighter, brighter, and more neutral, with natural materials like baskets and dried botanicals playing into the decor, could be described as more minimal, and on the other end there was more of the wallpaper, florals (rose and country blue), and more of a maximalist vibe with all of the things. (Observations from a student of feng shui) Anyway, good job making your new home into a place that you all love!
Side Note: I generally like chevron designs too, but lately, for me, I find myself averse to designs that look too "pointy" to me. I bought some (kind of neutral) geometric patterned curtains a year or so ago from Amazon, and after looking at many pictures of them in other people's homes, I was confident that I liked them, but when they were hanging in my home, the pattern and its "pointiness" was visually overwhelming to me. They came down within days, and I put up solid colored curtains.
Shane wants you to be happy and that's why he tries so hard. You are a very lucky lady.

Absolutely love this wall and decor! I would never have thought to try something so bold! But it adds so much character and dimension! Absolutely beautiful! Love how you and Shane work so well together! Love how he wrote he loves you in painter tape! Also loved hearing him quote Little Bear 🐻! My 24 year old daughter was listening and agreed about Little Bear and felt the same way about the turtle! 🐢 So funny!
