I loved the character of tuoba yu , i liked everything about him and i don't think he deserved that fate in the story .💔
They say a villain is just a victim whose story hasn't been told, and for tuoba yo who had a terrible childhood and was neglected and abused, That made him the person he was ... he just needed someone to take his hand and assure that scared child in his heart ...
And if there ever been a parallel universe i hope he gets there the love he deserves and to be cherished .❤

This is my favorite Chinese movie!! I have watched this at least 4 times and will watch it again soon. All actors/actresses were very good but Tiffany Tang and Luo Jin were phenomenal!!!
I love Tiffany Tang in this!! She was also fantastic in The Legend of Xiao Chuo!

I don't normally compliment a villain but Mr Braids didn't molest Wei Young so he's got a gold star for that but at least he wasn't behind a lot of the attacks on her..even her ex bf can't say that. I don't care if he was doing it for her own good. If she can died under duress, he would have to live with her sacrifice. The women are vicious in this drama. You can't even trust the lowly maids.
Mr. Braids is the sexiest "villain" I've ever seen. Woowie!!

TBH you can take Prince Naan's (Braids) character, make him the male lead in other cdramas instead of the villain and he won't be able to crack the list of heroes who mistreat the women they are supposed to be in love with. I've seen way more cruelty from leading men I'm supposed to like.

The main actor, Chen Mo, played Lu Yun Zhan in "If I never loved you," what a horrible human being. The character is neither cute nor sexy. Granted, chick was a masochist. I will take Mr. Braids evilness to the above character. I can't believe some women enjoyed that drama. 😖

Prince of Nan-An was a villain I actually kinda like. Vaness Wi won me over through this drama

I really liked the series except for the fact that she got away with things over and over again and should have been killed off a zillion times but had invincible plot armor for way too long!
Changru really had the most ridiculous plot armour on. I almost think she must have been blessed by the heavens like Weiyoung.
