Hi Kate. Just found this video. I am new to slow stitching and I am really enjoying it. I am making my granddaughter a fabric memory book for her when she graduates from college and will be a first grade teacher.
I love that! What a precious gift for your granddaughter. You might enjoy my video on printing on fabric-some other fun ideas in that one. Thanks so much for watching!
That is so encouraging! I’d love to have you as a subscriber if you enjoyed this content. I have enjoyed the community in other RUclips groups! ❤ Thanks for watching.
Hi I’m in Western Australia and new to slow stitching but have found all the videos so inspiring and looking forward to getting started as most of my sewing is waiting for me in storage. With me I have an Anne’s Glory Box pattern from about 30 years ago of a Chatelaine which I discovered when packing. I’m making it by hand! Thanks for sharing your journey.
Welcome Lyn! I am so glad you have started this journey, too-it is wonderful to rediscover projects and treasures or to find new ones! ❤ Thank you for watching-I look forward to seeing your work when you begin to share it. ❤
Hi, Becky! Thank you so much for watching. My mother-in-law was born and raised in Aberdeen South Dakota. I have had the opportunity to drive through your beautiful state, and thought the Mitchell corn Palace was something rather amazing. 😂 Please feel free to connect with me if you are on Instagram - I always love seeing other people’s stitching journeys. ❤ Thanks so much, Kate
Good morning, Kate. I enjoyed so much listening to your teacher stories, you definitely possess the dialectic of a teacher😊love your huswif, that big pocket is fantastic! And the mini pouch...so adorable! Tfs ❤
I’m so glad you enjoyed that! Are you a teacher also? Once a teacher, always a teacher! That big pocket is so helpful! Thanks again for watching… I really appreciate it!❤❤❤
Welcome Kate, I watched and listened to the entire video. I like to turn on RUclips videos while I'm working. I am from the Netherlands and I work night shifts for people with Alzheimer's. I've done a lot of stitching over the last year. I am working on 3 projects, a pouch, EPP cover for a footstool and a bag. I did indeed find your channel through Kate. I think it's important to support new channels to move forward. I love this community👍🧡💐🍀
Anita, thank you so much for watching - it’s always good to talk with another member of the Kate in the nest community, too! Hasn’t it been a joy? I love putting on these videos while I am working… They are great company. ❤ Thank you for joining my channel- I hope that you enjoy the videos! ❤ 🌺 All the best, Kate
