Surprisingly, 'Ahn Ye-eun' herself wrote the lyrics, composed the music, and even sang the song. If you listen to the original song, you can experience the traditional Korean music sound and her unique and attractive singing style even more clearly. You can feel the oriental pentatonic scale that fills the entire song, and you can hear the traditional singing style that is different from general K-pop. Since I'm not a music expert, I can't explain why, but this style of music sounds like it's a lot more difficult to sing than K-pop. It must be the way the notes blend together. Either way, you seem to become more talented each day! It's amazing! So I learned the pentatonic scale is a five-note scale. So that's what gives a lot of traditional East Asian music it's unique style. But I also learned that this scale is also used in western music as well, including folk music and even the blues. It seems like it's a very versatile scale! I was listening to other versions of this song and found a cover by 송소희. She's young, but sings in the style of Gugak. It's always great to see the younger generation take interest in old traditions, otherwise these traditions could be lost to time. So Autumn Guitar is doing her part to help preserve this traditional music style! And the Sangsahwa flower...It's a beautiful flower that symbolizes such a sad thought. It's amazing how we can find symbols of human experiences within nature. One could say that there are parallels among all living things. Oh, and even this 'Rebel' drama sounds very interesting.
