I just noticed my comment from this video disappeared! It was a short story about an interesting discovery. While I was listening to the original version of 'Tombe La Neige' by Salvatore Adamo, I thought his singing style and vibe felt familiar. It reminded me of a Spanish singer my mom listens to, by the name of Raphael. He's a Spanish singer from Spain who became very popular after his song 'Yo Soy Aquel'. Anyway, I was searching for different songs from Salvatore Adamo. Then suddenly I saw a video where Salvatore and Raphael were on stage together! They were singing 'Mi Gran Noche'. I think this was a song originally by Salvatore, but it was made famous by Raphael. So I was surprised to learn the two of them knew each other! And another big coincidence is that they're both 81 years old! I thought this was interesting, haha. And your cover was amazing too, of course! You capture the mood of the original perfectly. And your pronunciation continues to impress me every time! 😄👏

So, today, I covered one of my own playlists that I always listen to when the snow falls.☃️ It's a very emotional chanson that comes to mind like roasted chestnuts when the cold, snowy winter comes, and it's also an immortal masterpiece. Adamo's voice, longing for a lover who doesn't return on a snowy winter night, is very appealing and charming, and the lyrics, which sing of the breathtakingly beautiful pure white wait as the white snow falls, and the serenade of loneliness that fills that space, are also very philosophical. That was...so amazing! I had to listen to it several times to appreciate all the subtleties of this style. It's a short section, but the part from 1:40 to 1:50 was really impressive with how the notes blend so seamlessly. It's such a beautiful sound that captures the essence of traditional Korean music, or 'Gugak' as I've learned. I think this part also highlights the 'sigimsae' that you described. Since I'm not a music expert, I can't explain why, but this style of music sounds like it's a lot more difficult to sing than K-pop. It must be the way the notes blend together. Either way, you seem to become more talented each day! It's amazing! So I learned the pentatonic scale is a five-note scale. So that's what gives a lot of traditional East Asian music it's unique style. But I also learned that this scale is also used in western music as well, including folk music and even the blues. It seems like it's a very versatile scale! I was listening to other versions of this song and found a cover by 송소희. She's young, but sings in the style of Gugak. It's always great to see the younger generation take interest in old traditions, otherwise these traditions could be lost to time. So Autumn Guitar is doing her part to help preserve this traditional music style! And the Sangsahwa flower...It's a beautiful flower that symbolizes such a sad thought. It's amazing how we can find symbols of human experiences within nature. One could say that there are parallels among all living things. Oh, and even this 'Rebel' drama sounds very interesting. It's described as the Korean version of Robin Hood. I might have to add this show to my list as well... I wasn't expecting to attend class today, but I'm glad I learned so many new things! I think RUclips should categorize Autumn Guitar's channel as not only a musical channel, but also an educational one as well! 😄 고마워☺
