You can make this cooked buttercream with flour for cakes and cake decorating, you can also make this cooked buttercream for cupcakes at home. These simple buttercream flavour ideas are easy and smooth to pipe with, and it is an easy recipe to make at home as they all share there is a chain of their own recipes. These flavoured buttercream recipes are sometimes called 'not too sweet buttercream frosting' because they are less sweet and mild. These are also named 'ermine buttercream frosting'.

    INGREDIENTS:
    FOR THE BUTTERCREAM
    1 1/4 cups or 300 ml milk
    2 tbsp or 30 grams of flour
    2 cups or 230 grams of icing sugar
    1 1/4 cups or 250 grams of butter
    FOR VANILLA FLAVOUR:
    1 tbsp or 8 ml vanilla essence
    A little touch of purple colour (if you want white buttercream)
    FOR CHOCOLATE FLAVOUR:
    1 cup or 150 grams of chocolate (you can use more according to your taste)
    FOR MOCHA FLAVOUR:
    1 tbsp or 15 m water
    2 tsp or 4 grams grounded coffee (you can use more or less according to your taste)

    0:24 1 1/4 cup or 300 ml cup milk
