Just got the linen musk and it develops really nice on the skin. Definitely not what I expect from a musk collection. But lovely! Let’s see how it grows on me!
These macerated SO well. As they are on sale now the batches are older and they all got, I'd say triple as intense as they were when they first came out ❤

They actually didn't have them at the store, and they weren't ever planning to stock them! So that tells you something about this musk collection right there. But... they actually DID have one bottle of the Cashmere Musk in stock. A customer return. They put it out on the shelf so I was able to try it, and I had the exact same experience that you did! It smelled bad, turned, almost spoiled? The face I made was just like yours. And if I didn't know it was "popcorn" I'm not sure I would have known it was popcorn. I was not expecting that. On the bright side, I can honestly say I've never smelled anything like it. If you want to be unique, this might be the fragrance for you. I almost want to get a bottle just to have it... I know how odd that sounds lol.
Cashmere Musk has a beautifully middle, and I like the pop corn note but it has a strong turned cheese smell on barbacue, really ugly! Linen Musk has too much ambroxan, it is so harsh and chemical that drydown of ambroxan 😢 in Tender Amber tgere was the same ambroxan but at keast the flower and fruity touches were really shining! My favorite is Merino, a gorgeous powdery scent based on patchouli and caramel. Confidential Musk is the most clean and creamy. Thank you as always for a great Zara review!
First: I love the look of these so so much. Sniffing at the bottles in store didn't help, I could hardly smell them at all. I think they are meant to be skin scents, not really perfumes. So I sprayed them on skin and then looked through the racks for half an hour. They definitely developed all four. Then I got some scent waves I really liked and they were from Confidential Musk (which I didn't expect, because I liked it least when I first sprayed them on). So they take a little bit more time, as they aren't as flat as many other Zara fragrances. Musk Confidential to me smells like harsh soap at first but gets a really beautiful clean, a bit creamy ,woody musk note after about five minutes, and then it stays like that. Btw. The Popcorn one was nearly sold out in my Zara, so this seems to be the most popular one 😂
I bought Zara fragrance for the first time just because of musk cashmere. It's complicated maybe strange but I like it, good quality for that price. You have to test it before making the purchase.

Cashmere Musk for me was love at first sniff. I think it smells like a hazelnut yoghurt and my husband really liked it on me. This fragrance seems to be a hit or miss.
Actually what I like most about you is that you are not a snob and that you always give us your honest opinion, otherwise what good would it be? I get that, the chapter bottles or the collab-with-perfumer bottles are usually way better. Although i did quite enjoy Lucky Cherry and Vibrant Caramel which also came in the cheaper bottles!
I smelled those scents in our zara store, and my first impressions were exactly the same. I really didn't like Cashmere Musk - for me, it had an opening like stinky feet ^^ Merino Musk felt like a kind of clean scent, but nothing special. Musk Confidential also gave me 90s vibes (just like Vanderbilt for example), and Linen Musk was the only scent I really liked. In fact I bought it, because I also like Erba Pura, and because it seemed to be extremely longlasting.

Amber line was such a hit! Wow! That is why we all hoped for great Musk line, and disappointment is huge. Nothing pleasant, very stinky and no desire to bathe in any of Musk.
I tried out all four musk fragrances yesterday and I can't believe cashmere musk made it into production......Zara's perfume quality control really dropped the ball on this one.....just nasty😂......linen and merino unappealing, but I quite liked Musk confidential... Am wearing it today.....not bad, thinking of layering it with another musk or will just wear it gardening😅
I agree with you, I literally jumped on these ones in Zara the other day as I'm a musk lover, too, and was expecting some Narciso-reminiscent stuff, but I was hugely disappointed. On the side note, do you have any information about the new Fields at Nightfall flanker, the Intense version? I'm in love with the original, but have a tendency of going nose blind to it after a couple of days, and wanna know if the intense performs better. It is worth investing in it, whats your take on that? Thanks a lot for your great videos, I love Belgium (I'm from Hungary).
The intense smells exactly like the original, just stronger. I think they just changed the concentration. If you like the brownish metallic bottle, get it. If you don't, you can just overspray the regular (and cheaper) EdP 😊

I almost vomitted when I sprayed cashmere musk on myself. felt sick all day when I smelt it. reminded me to always spray on paper and not myself. smells like expired cookies to me!

For me, Cashmere Musk smelled like cheese hahahaha I liked Linen Musk because of the DNA, for me, is better than Amber Fusion. But there are so many good arab dupes in this erba pura family that I'm not buying a backup bottle

Thanks for your review! I generally avoid Zara releases in the 'cheap bottles' and it looks like the musk line won't be the exception.

I feel the same about linen musk, after some hours it is heavier and more masculine, lacking previous freshness
