Wow! I'm honored that Adrian included me in his speech. I was that third baseman who asked him to switch positions. I knew he would make one of the best players even back then. Congratulations Kojak! Bendiciones mi hermano!
LA Dodger fan here. I was devastated when the Dodgers let Adrian walk. One of the most talented baseball players I have ever watched. What a career, congratulations Adrian!!!
The Dodgers let _A LOT_ of mega-talents walk: Mike Piazza. Pedro Martinez. And more recently Corey Seager and Trea Turner. I don't know why I still bother to root for them.
Certain players exude a genuine love for the game and it can be felt by others. Adrian was one of those guys you could feel the love of loving to play and as a kid that used to play that’s all you could ask for because you remember when you felt that way. Thank you for that Adrian Beltre, well deserved.
The brotherly love between Beltre and Felix is something I still miss. Congratulations, Adrian. I can only hope that Felix will one day share the podium with you.

As a Texas Rangers fan I will miss Beltré on the field. You can see the love he had for the game. He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame and I am so happy for him. He will always be one of my favorite players of all time!
We loved Adrian in Seattle. He was not only so very talented but also funny. In fact, I am surprised he did not point to the umpires to check his speech 😅 ;), if you know..... you know. This is so very well deserved!!!!!!!
What a wonderful speech, perhaps the best of the year. It was funny yet came from the heart, while thanking everybody from his childhood classmate to the clubhouse guys!
Rangers fan here. I enjoyed watching him play ball he played with so much passion I admire him and tried to model my game after him. You will forever be loved by the Rangers fans Adrian beltre.
Hi everyone for take time just like me and congratulations beltre he was a such a great player this moment make me cry for he speak those special moments he was ine off my flavor player i was fun watching him playing the game god bless him and he family's
I remember seeing Beltre was on his way to 3k hits at a rangers game a few years back. Glad he went and did that because that is a rare feat only a handful of players can attain. Now he's immortalized there in Cooperstown.
As a Phillies Phan, Beltre was never on my radar over whether to jeer or cheer him, but man he was just a great, joyful dude and overall great player His hatred of getting his head touched & how teammates teased him should be on his plaque That and his love for the game highlights were a delight during his career Overall this was a great Induction year, each player was a 5 tool player or damn close to it while also being a leader & ambassador to the game
Adrian was an outstanding Seattle Mariner. But he wasn't truly appreciated by baseball fans until he played for Texas. During those years i wished he had stayed in Seattle.

I don't think Beltre really like or dislike Ichiro. In an interview in Spanish, Beltre said that, He didn't understand how Ichiro plays baseball, That for was kind of selfish player, Sometimes they were dow by one run and, Ichiro would swing on 3-0. Until on day through a the translator He decided to ask him, Why you do that? Why would swing on 3-0 losing by one rub? And Ichiro responded that, Nobody told him to take a pitch or something.

One of the best 3B of all time, the only thing missing from this guy' resume is a World Series ring.
He ended up getting one… but not as a player unfortunately. He was in the Rangers front office as an assistant to the GM Chris Young
We can thank Nelson for that.

Yep Beltre was appreciated in Seattle! I got to watch him with the Mariners vs the Dodgers in L.A. in 2009.
One of the best to ever do it
Loved watching Beltre play the game. So much energy, flare, humor and pizzazz. It was a pleasure to see him grow as a player

Funniest player ever and the best defender of the modern era. I'll never forget the on-deck circle bit as long as I live.

I never thought of him as a Hall Of Famer
Tan bueno qué hubo que subirle de 15 a 16 años para los Dodgers firmarlo pues 16 era la edad mínima
