So, this is more of a kitchen-hack than a start-to-finish recipe ;-) It'll save you when you're in a time crunch! And it's delicious. My friends Jennie and Jonny Hartono from Indonesia introduced this to me waaaaay back in the day and I've never forgotten it. Enjoy!

I would love to see an authentic Italian meal from Jeremys’s grandma
Oh yes I forgot about grandma yum
I second that
FYI, her coffee is really good. I got package of regular grind and like it a lot. Not too strong, nice & smooth. She made good choices in her blend.
I love those seasoning packets! I don't make it as often as you do but it's a LOT cheaper than buying fried rice for all 7 of us!
I use this recipe at least once a week after watching Jessa make it. Jinger I love Italian food and after watching Jeremy’s Grandma spaghetti and meatballs! Yummy!
Such a quick and easy meal thank you so much for sharing with us. Keep the videos coming we enjoy them so much. God bless you and your precious little family ❤️
I have used those packets myself! It makes cooking time go quickly and you can get the meal on the table in record time! It's great! Thanks for sharing Jinger!
Yeah. Because she has to rush home from work & then get a meal on the table. 🙄 Oh, that's right. She's almost 29 years old & she's never had a paying job.
@@celestelawler587 Really? Was that necessary? Let her live her life, it is not affecting you in any way, right!
@@olivianovak4788
Yes, really. Can you prove me wrong? Was YOUR comment to ME necessary? Is it affecting YOU? Poor Jinger has NEVER been able to live her life. She was denied an education. She was denied a childhood. Her parents did NOTHING when her oldest brother sexually molested her for years. And yet she had to have an accountability partner with her any time she was allowed to leave the compound. She went from one controlling man to another.
@@celestelawler587 You're commenting on her cooking channel about her never having a job in 29 years. Why?? Even if what you say is a fact, what's the point in saying it here? She's just showing others how to make a quick meal. That's why I've added many times that your comments are unnecessary. And once again how is any of it affecting you? Maybe think about how jinger would feel reading your comments. Your talking about "poor jinger" but I'm pretty sure she is more well off then you are. Both financially and mentally!
I’m sorry, but I believe writing is considered a job, actually it’s a career. She’s written two book. Trust when I say writing is a job.
Going to try it tomorrow! Thanks for such a simple looking, but yummy dinner.
Works with cauliflower rice too. I use the rice from frozen state but could be microwaved before adding to other ingredients.
Great job Jinger. This is definitely something I would make for my family. I would love to see you continue to make quick & easy meals as that’s what I’m always looking for.
Yeah. Because she puts in such a grueling day at work 5 days a week. 🙄😂
Using a seasoning packet is a great option. So much easier than using 10 different things.
I bought this seasong per your recommendation and WOW I LOVE it! I got creative the other night and made stove top stuffing, the seasoning and breakfast sausage all combined together. It sounds weird but it was so GOOD.
Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe. Quick rice dishes are always good. :)
Thank you so much for sharing! I will have to give that recipe a try!
I watched Jessa use this and bought the packet of spices from Amazon in the uk ., it’s lovely 🥰
So her sister is shilling the same product?
Great video! Can't wait to try this one.
We love rice in my home so I'm going to try this. It looks delicious!
I Love Watching Your Cooking Videos You Should Have Your Own Cooking Shows
WOW that looks amazing and so quick! I will be trying this one! Thanks Jinger! I love these video's
Thank you Jinger I’m going to try this tomorrow! Enjoyed this very much!
Looks tasty! But 4,760 mg of sodium per pouch is a LOT - will have to figure out how to recreate this spice mix at home :)
That's often the case with prepackaged foods. I think unfortunately, due to relying on food pantries for much of their lives, they didn't have the healthiest of diets.
@@celestelawler587 they didn’t rely on food pantries and so what if they had? Food pantries are usually given healthy foods
@@kellymcfalls1458 es
They most certainly DID rely on charity & handouts.. They lived rent free in a 3BR house owned by the church.. Michelle Duggar has said there were times all they had to eat for days was rice. People use to anonymously drop off their gently use clothing on their porch or by their mailbox. As for answering your question "so what if they did?" I just stated a fact. And when you rely on the generosity of others, you take whatever they give you. And the food is not always the healthiest. Over my lifetime I've donated to food pantries. It's mostly prepackaged & canned goods.. Never perishable items like fresh vegetables & fruit.
Thank you so much for these meal ideas!!!
Great easy dish can’t wait to try. You are doing so well you get better en very video so natural.❤😊
Omg I love Nasi goreng, I even had it in the 80s in rural montana - no spice packet tho. An exchange student back from Indonesia taught us a version made with very American ingredients, it tasted the same as most versions I've had...and was pretty close to the nasi goreng I had in the PRC.
Nasi Goreng!! A classic Indonesia staple! If done right it is the absolute best!!!
Good morning Junior I never had Indonesia food before but I was always open up for my palate to try different dishes and that one looks so delicious bon appetit and put what you just show yes it takes no time at all I will definitely give this dish a try love you may God continue to bless you and always looking forward to see your next videos and tell everyone all around the world have a blessed day 🙏😊♥️
I agree with others! I would love ❤️ to see Jeremy's Grandma cooking on here! If she's still able. She was the most adorable thing ever. 😍 Or at least feature some of her recipes! Thanks Jinger 😊 💕
That looks good!! I enjoy rice dishes, and jasmine rice is the best. I'm interested to try this. I've never had Indonesian food, but I really like Indian, and Thai food. Thank you for sharing. ♥️
Indonesian food is the literal best!!!!!! (I lived there for a while, trust me it’s bomb!)
Looks delicious! Love your videos !
Looks delish!
Below comment should read "Saute the protein first then add it to the rice. Do not add the raw protein to a big skillet of cooked rice and then try to saute proteins.
I ordered the seasoning from Amazon thank you for the tip this looks delicious
I did too! Looks easy peasy and good as well! We all love rice.
i ordered your coffee...........and I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!! so happy........that you are living your life.........the way you chose !!!! good for you .
Yummy my favorite I have to try this! Thank you!
Looks delicious can’t Wait to try💕
Great recipe! Indonesian 🍚 😋
Looks flavourful and delicious 🙌🏽
Thank you for sharing ❤😊
I'm a long time fan of yours and have to say Jinger that you have grown so much in the last few years. Your poise and confidence shine through brilliantly. I have a feeling you are going to explain that in your book and I am getting impatient for it's release. I pre-ordered the electronic version which will zip right into my Kindle on it's release. I'm going to try the rice.
She's probably going to preach about Calvinism. Jeremy's religion to which she apparently has converted. She'll be 29 years old next month. Poise & confidence? 🤔 I feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for all of the Duggar offspring. They've been denied of so much due to growing up in a cult with bat 💩 crazy parents. They were all denied a decent education. They were denied the opportunity to make friends of their own choosing. They were denied everything teenagers get to experience. They could never even leave the Tater Tot Mansion alone. They always had to have an accountability partner with them. Jana, Jill, Jessa & Jinger we're given 24/7 responsibility for multiple younger siblings starting when they themselves were only 11, 10, 9 & 8 years old. I'm surprised Jill, Jessa or Jinger had any kids of their own after that.
@@celestelawler587 Everything you are talking about is not what I see in Jinger today. If you still see her the way she was, perhaps you are still looking at the past. My comment had nothing to do with Calvinism, Jana, Jill or Jessa. Your tater tot comment shows a true immaturity in being able to discuss without throwing barbs. It was about Jinger and I stand by what I saw and what I said.
@@celestelawler587 Why don't you think about all the things you were "denied" of doing, while typing out that unnecessary comment.
@@joannem6878
Then you need to look closer. And take off those rose colored glasses. She's every bit as much controled by Jeremy as she was by The Sperminator & The Incubator. She hasn't written any "tell all" book. For one thing, she didn't even write the book herself. Someone affiliated with Jeremy & his Seminary school. She's not going to bad mouth the way she was forced to live by her "jailers." She's not going to say a word about them & how disgusting they were for allowing her oldest brother to sexually molest her & 3 of her sisters & did nothing about it. They just brushed it under the carpet & treated HIM like he was some Golden Child. And she nor her sisters ever got any professional help. Nor did the Golden Child. She's said she initially didn't want to marry Jeremy. But we ALL know she wanted to get out of Arkansas & live in a big city. And Jeremy was her ticket out. And in turn, Jinger was Jeremy's ticket to fame. Many people believe he sees himself as the next Joel Osteen. Jinger was cute & had a recognizable name. Plus she's naive & he could mold her into whatever he needs & wants her to be. He got her to convert to Calvinism, which is another patriarchal, mysoginistic organization that veils itself as a religion, just like the IBLP cult Jinger was subjected to. Sorry that you've never heard the McMansion that TLC built for the Duggars called the "Tater Tot Mansion" before. Sorrier that you have no sense of humor & still think that any of the Duggars are decent people who should be looked up to or praised.
@@celestelawler587 come at me aggressively and the rest of what you have to say is ignored. You need to learn how to speak to people when you have a disagreement. You obviously are behaving like those that have turned our world into a one opinion state of tyranny.
Awesome
Can't wait to try.
Thing to find the pkg with the flavor. Looking on line
This looks so yummy. Tfs Love it. I just ordered your coffee and pre-ordered your new book.
Cool Jinger😘I will try this! Lol the packet is a great hack I use with Arab and Turkish meals as well😋💓
Great job, Jinger! You’re really easy to root for! 💗👏👏👏
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family.
You should try Cambodian Beef Lok Lak! I’ve been living in Cambodia for 5 years as a missionary, that’s one the best and easiest meals! That and something a bit mor difficult is Cambodian Caramelized pork! So good!
Would you mind sharing the recipe of the Cambodian pork dish. Thanks in advance. Dianne
Looks super delicious, Jinger! I bet it smell good as well.
Made this last night! Soo good! You must have a higher tolerance for spicy foods than I do because I thought it was pretty spicy!
Can’t wait to fix this!❤
that looks so good miss your family
Can't wait for the next video Jinger.
mmm that's really good
Love this channel! Thank you!
This is interesting as Watching paint dry.
And you watched the entire thing!🤣
I kinda like that color on you! Love these videos too. I need all the help I can get since I dont cook well.
I can’t help to laugh because the set up of this video is very professional and then she pulls out a packet of flavor seasoning for her rice it just makes me laugh
Very professional? 🤔
Gossip Gal so what if she used a season packet?Do you think every “professional “ chef cooks completely from scratch?
@@kellymcfalls1458
Is that your "go to" reply to everyone's comment; "so what if they did?" Pretty defense of a family of grifters who you don't know personally.
for those who like salted fish, nasi goreng and salted fish is a good combination... uhh i'm suddenly craving for it.. 🥴
Jinger, I am so proud of you. You have grown into a special woman. Remember you can do anything you put your mind to and if by chance it would not work then it is not in God's plan. Press on and be strong!
Details on the spice pack!!
I would love to learn from you how to make a good challah bread!
I’m going to admit - when you said you make this normally once a week, I laughed - this is your new “go-to” and healthier version of “tater tot” casserole. 😂❤
Ps - if it’s not Instant Rice, I can’t make it 😂😅
We love rice dishes. This looks really good. I’m going shopping this afternoon and will pick up the ingredients. I will serve tonight and see what the family says. I’m sure we’re gonna ❤❤❤ love it.
Do you make anything Mexican ~ something that makes it your own?
I’ll be watching. Thanks
Godspeed
I think I read that she & Jeremy did a video of them making tacos. People were complaining about that one too.
@@celestelawler587
🤦♀️ I’m sure Jinger makes some sort of Mexican casserole and can use rice instead of wraps or chips. She can let herself go and be inventive. When I first got married it was recipes from cookbooks, magazines and having dinner at friends houses. I’ve been married 51 years and there are still new recipes to be learned. You can’t fault a person for trying. She’s new at this.
@@priscillarobinson7740
She needs to get an actual job instead of doing this crap. She'll be 29 years old in less than a month & she's never had a paying job outside of the home. That's all she & her sisters know how to do is cash in on the name Duggar. Although with their abuser brother serving a 12+ year Federal prison sentence for possessing CSAM, I'm not sure the Duggar name still holds the clout it once did.
@@celestelawler587 you have a problem. 🤦🏿♀️

Yeah. YOU & Olivia harassing me is the problem.
Hope y'all are safe...You are in my prayers🙏
Hinger we need your "what I eat in a day" and " fitness routine videos!"
That looks very tasty and your presentation was spectacular.. you’re getting much better at this than you were at first.. good luck with your new adventure
She needs to stop touching her hair when she's preparing food.
@@celestelawler587 her hair was pulled back in a ponytail and I didn’t see her touching it at all.. in one of her very first videos that was a chief complaint by a myriad of people including myself however I believe you’re mistaken I know you’re mistaken I don’t believe it I know it.. give the woman a chance

That really looks yummy. I will be on the lookout for the rice packet for this. Thanks for sharing it with us.
You are so amazing!!! Thank you for being you 😊
😊
Looks delicious 😋
Have you ever cooked from scratch, like no cans or pre made seasoning? It’s so much better and then you learn how to season
Growing up in a family of 20 I doubt they had time to cook from scratch.
Looks delicious Jinger. Keep up the great work.
Can I use brown rice?
Jinger will you post more video's?
Looks good!
Loving this cooking Miss Jinger🎉👍 You RoCk🙏❤️😘
I purchased the packets to try. Always up for something new. I must say I am shocked at how many neg. people feel the need to comment. If you don’t like it, put your grown up pants on and move along.
Not a rice fan more of a potatoes gal. But great to see your kids are willing to try fancy spicy foods. Pretty adventureous for kids!
You say he the protein first then add it to the rice. It is impossible for her to saute proteins in a full skillet of rice.
Looks amazing.
52% sodium according to the nutrition label! I love salt, but I'm tryng hard to cut back, I'll have to pass on this.
What’s the seasoning
Love!
Looks great.
Thanks for sharing!!
What is the seasoning packet? Name?
She hasn't linked in the description.

Link is in description box. :)
Looks good

Ginger, enjoy your channel! I also have you new book on pre-order.🙂
Can you please make bannock ?
Im form toronto whats bannok? I eat very simple nothing fancy or exotic.
(Only suggestion: try not to turn away from the camera when you talk but overall love this video )
I love Jinger so happy to get to see you again
Wow I actually thought she was going to cook for real this time. My bad.
Yummy!!
Oy! The sodium. It looked awesome but I'd have to pass on the high level of salt.
I bet that was delicious, but avocado or coconut oil would probably be a better option for this dish.
I just ordered your coffee, Jinger!!!
YUMMY!!
🤣🤣🤣
I've eaten Nasi Goreng. Delicious
( you once said Anna was a saint, staying with josh after first scandals, she is not saint, she is brainwashed by the cult & refuses to see or accept the truth, she needs to leave her husband)
