The resort facilites are top notch. The food is a 5/10 even for the a la carte places...but feeding 5000 people every day means it cant be great. Enjoy!
We ( big company ) are going there the third time ( December/ two weeks ) . Best experience snorkeling with turtles: having some bananas with yourself - you are the King for them... and have a lot of super photos, selfies and videos with some turtles at the same time... under the pier - it is amazing - snorkeling with 1000s different fishes ... For this money no place for snorkeling like Barcelo Maya Palace... Thank you very much for such a good video...👍🙏🙏🙏 Do not forget to take a trip to Isla Mujeres on private boat - it is also fantastic...
@@sneakawaytravel8964 it is hot for sure but we always go on vacation in July ! we had no problems when we went last July besides having to get a chair at the pool but it was quiet. I personally would never go to Mexico on spring break just because of al the kids but thats just me but definitly looking forward to going in July !!
We stayed at the 'Beach' section, and had to go up the shore towards the 'adults only' section to enter easily. But if you're looking to be at the best point of entry, stay either at Colonial or Tropical. Lots of great entry spots, and in the early morning you can see the little turtle heads bobbing in the water. Hope this helps!
If you just want to see lots of fish, snorkel from the pier, staying inside the bouy-line where boats don't go. If you want turtles we found the north end of the beach, entering where the Maya Tropical meets Maya Palace Deluxe is the best bet. (Watch for where people are congregating along the shore) But keep an eye for stingrays! They're eveywhere!
Yes. You can access any part of the beach no matter what resort you are staying at, but they will not serve you drinks at the adults only beach area unless you are a guest there.
nice video ,,
were going there in 2 week hope we like it

Cool video!! So you have to pay for the non-motorized water activities?
Nope! Non-motorized are included with your stay.

So, if i stay at colonial, it's allowed to go the Riviera adults only beach?
Yes. You can access any part of the beach no matter what resort you are staying at, but they will not serve you drinks at the adults only beach area unless you are a guest there.
