Thank you for this!
this band has had me in a trance for about a month now.....love these chicks!!!
even if jenny was feeling sick she still kills it on bass, but when doesnt she
I think she actually plays better with the shitz.
I've been playn this since like 930 this morning...
xoxo
This is a truly fucking amazing band. I don't know if anyone would agree, but they have this sort of metal sound to some of their songs (not metal as in Cannibal Corpse though .lol). They actually play TOGETHER unlike other bands where it seems as if each one of them is just performing their portions of the song over each other. Their voices go great together too. There are very few bands like this. They are right up there with metric, the naked and famous, of monsters and men, chvrches, blood red shoes. Just a few of my favorites. Although they perform better live than all those bands in my opinion. You can see they love their music and take it very seriously. Listening to it just gives me an eargasm.
I agree - I remember hearing them interviewed and Theresa was saying that they were gone for so long just trying to perfect their sound. Well - mission completed.
Jimi Jones Yes Jimi thank you, we know
Jimi Jones me think that the pink headed lady is playing on bass...
I always said they were the female Tool. So I definitely understand what you mean. They have this dark atmosphere in their songs but still sound very innovative and artsy. Love em.
I've always thought Elephants would make for an awesome metal track if the effects were changed.
i dont even like Warpaint that much but i love to watch these girls play, great chemistry between members of the band, its kind of motivating actually. very happy as i will most likely see them play in two weeks.
Weird that you listen and look at a band you don’t like that much.
Love this band and I think I have a crush on the bassist.
where have I been all this time, this band is great! new fan! lol
always mind blowing
🖤🖤🖤

These girls are great. Shame I only just heard of them...
Is anyone else physically attracted to all these chicas or am I just thatB crazy? Psychel! Band of Babes, and awesome music also ! Good for them
+CragieSea No! you are the only and first one! lolll
these girls do attract me in every single way
Just the whole fucking world
hawt
Does anyone know the name of the songs?
setlist is in the description
+idontgiveafuckaboutyourwaroryourpresident ??? At 43:50 They are playing " Disco//Very"
drummer and bassist works perfectly together
stella and jenny lee are indeed the embodiment of warpaint
Jeremy Modj all works perfectly for a amazing music really interesting
stella is awesome! she's like the heartbeat of the band.
stella rulez
i wish it didn't have the skips
She sure does!
Is there a better rhythm section active today than Jenny Lee and Stella?
no. They rule
No
Yes. But they’re still great.
No. Goddamnit these women are so good. All of them.
Don't know about today but brooks Collins were pretty good, particularly reading 92 Indian rope necromancy written all over it
As an old dude, great to hear these sounds...They hark back to Souxsie and The Banshees, PIL, Bjork...Bass lines very Cocteau Twins indeed and Stella's drumming reminds me of Steve Gadd .. just brilliant!
Great production on this btw. Most live recordings are pretty rough. They are already amazing, but whoever did the sound mixing and production served this band very well. As I type this I'm not seeing the video and it sounds like a studio recording.
The POWER of Stella's PINEAPPLE shirt!
Jenny Lee Lindberg is a goddess.
She definitely is!
Hard not to agree. She's amazing
Hate to break it to you, she was super rude to some of the fans at the merch table. I think she was hangry lol
@@adlevhashamayim4694oh no rude at the merch table?!?!?! Burn her with her Rickenbacker!! In all seriousness I would bet money the fan was a weirdo and/or douchebag
She’s my mother
bass player is bad ass!
I love Stella's left-hand work with the grace note stuff at 38:27 . She's a talented beast on drums !
I was wondering what her name was.
The drummer and Bass player have such a solid groove, impressive
Stella and Jenny. Just so you know.
It's sexy, it's angry, it's beautiful, it's hypnotic, they have actually achieved a sound that sounds like controlled chaos. I'm excited for what they've done with music, and so excited to see what the future holds for them. They've got a loyal fan in me, that's for sure.
too many words.but you are true.
Why "sexy"?
can you shut the fuck up nobody asked for your pseudo-expert opinion. genuinely no one cares what you have to say. stop thinking youre some music expert you stupid fuck. just listen to the music and dont shit all over it with your fucked comments
@@charliesheehan5237 You do realize that your comment can also be applied to your own, right?
You missed 'nostalgic'
Her bass lines are so weird and awesome. Great live band!

41:49 Theresa "so we aah...all went to Mexico for a show a couple days ago and we got Moctezuma's revenge" >.
Keep it healthy
Theresa Wayman
Holy shit, i love warpaint and im high as hella
I’m the same at the moment 😛🙃👾
Your band is only as good as your drummer. And they have an awesome drummer.
Reminds me of Steve Gadd's style.
This set lives rent free in my mind. Hope I reincarnate know my next life to be one of the people in the audience
god yes, this set was so good. perfect sunday afternoon band. the drummer is amazing.
Thank you for posting so soon after the show! They never cease to amaze. Warpaint, you heal my heart.
Drive has never sounded better than it does here. They are so perfect.
Yeah, my favorite.
Well done Sherlock
Yeah, and they outdone themselves, go and watch the acoustic version they did last year, absolutely magical.
Oh yes, I like this. Those drums are crispy.
They are perfect example of creativity, making something truly unique and good.
they are esoteric. i don't think their music or stage presence does make for a good show at a large venue. take 'em in small doses
Tom TreeSlayer small venue is always better in my opinion but seeing them at a festival would work for me. Thanks for your comment
I've seen that performance of Drive about 20 times now and it still gives me multiple screaming eargasms each time I hear it. Incredible performance! Would've loved to hear Burgundy and Feeling Alright, but it was still a great set.
Jenny Lee very special,. bass groove>:>
stella is crazy amazing
Agreed.
damn stella mozgawa. just look at the transition at 49:51
Love their chemistry. 58:55 minutes of Warpaint (esp. Jenny and T) looking sexay
It's interesting. I can tell they were all rather tired haha but this is actually one of the best sounding performances I have heard from them.
I love this set so much. They're all so great and they just shine.
I like the drums and the bass in keep it healthy.
Id like the instrumental too.
Stella is rad as hell and I REALLY appreciate how much she and Jenny focus on keeping the beat up!
Yep! I hope she plans on keeping it that way a little longer since it looks cute!
Indeed. It's no mistake they're on that riser.
The drumming on DRIVE is amazing
Pretty much fell in love at first listen and I'm fortunate enough to have seen them at Desert Daze. They are sorely underrated.
Warpaint is really good live.
+Ben L Yup, they are among the very few bands who are able to perform that good live. They give us different versions of the songs we already know, and they jam like crazy. Studio versions and live versions just complete each other instead of trying to be the same.
Undertow was a fucking disaster, otherwise they were great :D
Jenny lee FUCC ME UP!!! honestly this band deserves the world they're so good x
SHE THICC
theresa and jenny.....
What's with this Jimi Jones comments telling everyone that 'the bassist has a pink hair' lol
Damn I love this band.
Just got back from the Brooklyn show. Unbelievable.
There is an extended Billie Holiday now that is amazing.
And Em did Baby to open a long encore that was otherwise so groove and dance
including T and Em mixing two lone guitars on elephants extended that the whole place was bouncing to. Waaaaaay better than 55:00+ above. Its so clear now that they were just ill here. And I admire them for powering thru instead of canceling. Any true fan will see it for what it is, and catch them again.
I 100% agree, I was at the Brooklyn show in June and it was incredible. The energy they had and just the night time location in the park all added to everything and it also definitely seemed like one of the longest sets they have done. I hate that that show is not anywhere online in full. I have a few good vids from it, one being a 20+ minute long one, I may have to upload them since not alot from that brooklyn show have been put up. It was just a magical show and mostly everyone in the crowd was rocking with them.
Amazing poets artists and musicians thank u for blessing my life with such an important performance
Damn!! They rock!! Girl poweeeerrrr!!!
Never listened to such music! BUT dammit, why am I interested in their work that's already the seventh month... Here kind of mysticism and witchcraft...
They have you in the undertow!
My favorite drummers, all time:
3. Max Weinberg of the E Street Band
2. Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine, The Last Internationale, etc.
1. Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint
1 Stella
2 Chester Thompson - Weather report/ Genesis
3 Bill Bruford - King Crimson
@@JohnPalmer1962 Thanks for your input.
I just discovered this band and I LOVE THIS BAND! I am so happy to have found them.
The bassist has me hypnotized.
She was really sick this day too!
Good grief what a great band, just found by accident ,instant fan.
it's one of those bands along with electrelane and hooverphonic (older work) that you can listen to for hundreds of times.
They play so well together. Reminds me or Radiohead a bit. Could see myself getting lost in the albums for days. All aspects of the band go so well together, each instrument is so fluid and accompanied perfectly.
holy shit drive
Yeah thats my favorite song from this show.
4 years late but I've been in a Warpaint live binge recently. This show from No Way Out forward is the best I've seen on YT. Both their performance (totally in synch rhythm and pitch wise here) and the sound guy actually getting the mix "right" (well at least close) for the video recording (usually a separate sound guy than mixes FOH for the crowd at the fest). Many of their shows on YT they seem to have serious monitor level issues that affect their performance. I'll be back to watch listen again.
Stella building the drum fills on Drive is amazing to watch and hear. Also when the beaters come out for Undertow....best band in the world right now I believe...
Pretty special sound.....great!!
So excited for their new album
Legit just finding them now, so freaking cool!!!!! As a guitarist, drummer and singer it’s so sick to see female driven bands !!
You should check out La Luz and Shana Cleveland
so refreshing to see true natural beauty ...antidot to our plastic driven silikon antisocial media world...
luv u girls.... superb...... xxxx
man those vocals are complicated...lots of just doubling a part that kind of makes me go meh..but then bust out a super tight harmony all the time as well...sometimes 3 part and i've seen even four on different videos. very unconventional....and they pull it off
I agree, and I wish Stella would provide the four-part more frequently.
I'm so in love with those girls !!!
Remember their debut about 10 years ago, they were already amazing, and they did a stunning job and way as well.
I remember when Shannyn played in the band...
I fell in love with their music, their vibes, their passion at the second and never gave up on them.
And i'm proud to say i'm there since the beginning, they're incredible on stage and very nice in real life.
Warpaint is a way of life, an inspiration, an attraction...
Love ya girls!
And love Jenny Lee more than ever.
so talented and sooooo sexy , they are just perrrrr fect , this is a very good live set esp since they've been party and tired , super cool girls way better than most everything else goin on today
27:10 - 27:43 STELLAAAAA!!!!!
musas!!!!!!!!!!!
That Clementine on the bass.
Why is it that I saw the daughters of Luscious Jackson in more than one song but totally original at the same time? Huh? Love you Luscious Jackson's daughters! Love You.
Look at the audience , boy don’t cry , just like heaven , not Peter Hook on bass , not faraway.
I like your comment, even though I don't understand a word of it.
After seeing them live for the first time last night, my love for this band highly and quickly grew. Can't wait to see them again. The jams were amazing.
drummer is great but always looks like. ,wtf is going on- someone like, just gave me these sticks??
I love how dissonant it is, barely hanging in at times as a semblance of sound the listener might recognize as music, somewhat intentionally off key in the most satisfying way, then all comes together in waves of transcendental flux. They have so much substance. And so naturally and authentically sexy in such an accessible and tasteful way, just beautiful humans.
I was watching the awesome RUclips show IMPULSE, episode 2 for the 2nd time but 10mins in I realized a great song was afoot and had ta Shazam it...
It was Heads Up and then I kept looking up live performances of these gals and forgot about the awesome show for several glorious hours.
I'm Hooked!!! Warpaint is WiCkId
Amazing 🤘 I love em like tame impala they have that psychedelic trippy dreamy trance which is brill to be back in this music industry apart from all the other SHIT
34:45 - you're welcome
I love Disco//Very so much.
I was there. It wasn't exciting but they sounded great. Really liked watching Stella on drums, she is solid.
Yeah, I don't feel the energy in this performance. They played this weekend (8/2/2014) at Pickathon in Portland, Oregon, after not getting sleep for over 24 hours, and the energy was electrifying. The crowd was crazy into it. It was my first time seeing them, my favorite band, and it was ecstatic.
Tim Elston
i heard the pickathon sunday performance streaming live, and yes, there was a certain vibe an intimacy that was palpable. hazy, hot, psychedelic, sleep deprived endorphin summer night ingredients for alchemy. ahhh, the elusive muse.
I have a new favorite band now
I’m so glad this concert exist,it’s one of my favorites to watch
They are so female, in the way Throwing Muses were very female. Lotsa attention to detail, passionate, complex I dunno does anyone else hear the connection?
No, they're just good musicians playing within their ability.
Besides the female voices nope. I hear a dope band with members who have great talent.
How the hell are these girls so cool.
awesome show!!! Especially Elephants ending!
one of their best lives
thanks for the camera work and audio. It isn't easy to capture stella.
+Jimi Jones does the bass player have pink hair?
