Cumberbatch is KILLING IT with the voice acting, I liked how he did Smaug for the Hobbit and he killed it with the two Strange voices, good and bad. Also his screams of agony and pain in different parts of the episode, he sells it, I'm buying it.
Heavy angst, hurt no comfort, major character death. This episode was magnificent. Cumberbatch's voice acting was top tier. My favorite episode so far.
"One life, one choice, one moment can destroy the entire universe." - The Watcher I don't think I will ever forget that line and That conversation between Strange and The Watcher at the end of that episode gave me chills man and to just see Strange crying "I'm sorry" when all the universe is destroyed because of him was heart rending and I was so sure things would work out but it didn't. What if...keeps getting better and better. I never expected an episode like this. It was genuinely scary to see Strange crack to the point where he sacrificed the universe and still never got the one he loved. But like The Watcher sticks to his job description man. He does not interfere. Somebody give the man a raise cause he is doing his job haha. (Me trying to joke because this episode really cracked my mind). WOW. You gotta feel bad for Strange. The fact that you try and try again just to keep the love of your life alive makes it so depressing. Now he knows the consequences for messing up reality. That's the heart of a broken hero.
I think you can still cheat death if its not an absolute point. If Christine had died in the 2016 movie (after the car accident), bringing her back wouldn't have undid the universe, but Strange would have still ended up a bit monstrous.
Completely different vibe compared to the last two. What an episode, visually this one was the most impressive I think. The bright colors contrasting with all the dark was stunning
This episode showed more than anything when u take away the bells and whistles and strip it all down it boiled down to strange losing his mind over grief and people can relate to this. Very dark and depressing episode
Essentially it put him in the same situation as Wanda, where they both lost someone they loved and tried to warp reality (and also did terrible things in the process) to bring them back, with horrifying consequences as a result.
Yeah, seen the person you love the most die over and over again must be hella traumatizing and it gets worse thinking that you can fix it, even if that takes you to a dark path.

The saddest thing is that I don't think Christine could've lived with herself if she knew a whole universe of people were sacrificed to rescue her. She was a doctor. She wanted to help people. Strange was so busy saving her that he never bothered to think about her needs instead of his own.
This is a phenomenal episode. Everything about it from the voice acting to the animation. What I liked most was as much as they preach in the MCU that there are consequence to disrupting the flow of time, we finally get to see what that looks like. Damn! **In my Kevin Heart voice**
There's literally an entire anime with a premise of not being able to save someone no matter how many times you go back in time to save them. Its called Steins; Gate and I highly recommend it to anyone who really like this episode.
I have no words to describe this episode. It was epic and at the same time heartbreaking to see Strange plunge into madness to the point of wiping out his entire Universe to save Christine.

Dr. Strange with the power of the Sorcerer Supreme plus the power of high level demons at his disposal couldn’t even bypass the Absolute Point. It just makes Kang even scarier considering he has tech that can create Nexus events whenever he pleases
