    Thats neat. Have you done any match as to what a full sized machine would be able to throw both weight and distance? and would it rival the catapults of that time?

    not quite true to the original design? rubber band instead of tensioned arms?

      zenTaurus21 The tensioned arms do take some of the load, you can see this during tightening as they flex inwards slightly. We tried using fishing line also but due to the scale of the model it was not able to take the load

      zenTaurus21 Thanks, we have plenty more moels coming, we aim to make a whole museum of miniature Leonardo designs available :)

    nice 3d printed model tho this is a variant based on his design. wood and twine would be so much more satisfying to build :) if Da Vinci had rubber, who knows what he could've came up with?!

    Continuous is spelt CONTINUOUS not CONTINOUS😜
