The last cat with bread lives in Russia and his name is Boris. He was born in the streets and as a kitten got to know what the real hunger is :( Obviously, it affected his fluffy personality. Eventually he was taken home and now he has all the food he needs. But still, he always steals food and just can't let it go.
I'm sorry he had such a traumatic experience in his life and I'm so glad he won his cats lottery and has a permanent roof over his head.
P.S. I know all this stuff about Boris because I've seen a video about him.
A little water would have made him let go.

I don't know about you, but I buy cat food for the cat and human food for us, bread etc, I don't steal the cat's food and I DO NOT tolerate a cat stealing attempting to steal mine! If that was my cat, it would have been taught a lesson it would, never, ever forget! I have previous experience with cats who tried to steal our food, they were taught in no uncertain terms NOT to do it! They proved to be very quick learners!

Yeah they eventually figure it out somehow, mine even opened my window with a lock on it. It’s a simple lock, but it definitely takes brain power to open it. He didn’t get far, found him sleeping on the tree that’s close to my window, guess he got stuck. Although he hoped right down once I went to go get him, so idk

The last cat is from Russia. The cat is known like Borya. And because of hard times in the streets he has this habit to steal bread. And people could beat him, shake and cat just tries to keep it for eating. Because it was his only food.
Now Borya has a home but her owner ☝️doesn't know how to stop this. Cause the cat tries to steat bread everytime. And that video made her popular)). Borya-Boryaa)))
But isn't it dangerous to hold the grab the packet so close to his jaws? He looks so menacing in that situation that he could badly bite the hand.
Both my cats were found on the streets - one in London and the other, Dubai. It breaks my heart when Rambo (the one left to survive in the desert) tries to steal bread - he gets a piece of protein in exchange and a reassuring hug that food, water and safety will never again be in short supply.

We had a Dalmatian puppy years ago and if he sneaked out of the house, we lured him back in with a piece of bread.
My golden was the same way. When she came down with a parasite and we needed to give her meds my dad had the brilliant idea of hiding the meds in slices of bread. And no sandwich was safe around her.
Monte (our Dalmatian) once grabbed a hamburger, roll and all, that I had prepared for my lunch right off the plate and swallowed it while I turned aside for two seconds.
Years ago I thought i had a mouse problem, as the corners of my bread bag would be chewed up, almost nightly. I tried and tried to catch that mouse up until I caught my cat doing it.

When cats are bad, they're very bad but when they are good, they're the best! It's not that they're bad, they're mischievous and very curious. I have a 15 year old cat that still has is "bad moments" especially when they involve toilet paper on the dispenser and paper towels left on the counter

He was relatively careful in shaking. But it was definitely the absolute wrong way to convince the cat to let go! Why? Cats are predators who kill by biting their prey's neck! So in the cat's mind the bread was not dead yet, when he started to pull and shake it, and she instinctively tightens her grip on it even more. No harm was done to the cat, in fact she might have even enjoyed it that her owner made her "toy" look and feel like real prey for her to kill it properly. If he had left her on the ground, cat would've used her rear legs to break the bread's neck. But I agree, he shouldn't have lifted her from the ground like that, that was unnecessary. If he wanted his bread back he should've waited for the cat to loose her grip on it. As I said, he just increased her instinct to kill it by trying to pull it from her.

He found a safe place to play with his toy and got dragged out by his jaw, probably damaged his jaw. It encourages people to do this for views. I couldn't even believe it, they just kept shaking him. Reporting this. Ugh this planet.

@Thomas Hay I shake my cats head harder than that while playing with it as a kitten. Cats love it and will dive right back until your palm to be shaken again. I hope you never had actual kids, as you'd be horrible at raising them.
Wyldkat Smack ‘em up side the head when they are being intractable. That’s what momma cat would do. It usually ends bad behavior pretty quick and lasting.
@Thomas Hay I went too far with the kids thing. I apologize, maybe I was drinking under quarantine, all that. I see now I was triggered by how many people felt that was animal abuse against this cat. In my opinion it wasn't even close. That's what I should've said. I don't recommend smacking me upside the head, it's never fun for anybody haha

Cat's are very interested in gravity experiments. They have a little of Isaac Newton and Galileo Galilei in them.
Actually the reason behind why cats do that is very simple, they are completely and utterly bored. When cats get bored because they are not being played with enough and getting to use their playful energy as well as have interesting things to entertain them, they do things like push things off of tables. And they don't have to necessarily be bored long term in order to do that, it could even just be boredom in that moment!🤣 But yeah if someone's cat is doing that then it truly means that they need more attention and more playtime. Very important to their happiness and even physical and mental health!
