Very interesting. If the dead sea scrolls containing the gospel of Mary can be proved to be legitimate writings pertaining to Jesus 's message I think Christians should have access to the writings. Writings that are suppressed are suppressed for a reason. I have always wondered why the gospels gave so little authority to Mary who for sure plays a pivotal role in them, being one of the followers who did not abandon Jesus during his crucifixion, and the first follower to see him after His resurrection. Power, authority, and control are irresistible temptations that we are all subject to.

We had it hard. I’m not knowing what’s Sin was so that’s why Sin what is pastime to all of us, and without knowing that we were sinners, we suffered, but are God send beloved son, to die on the cross for our Sin’s Amen! Mary met all the criteria to be a disciple yet in those days women were not in any high regard to teach and many would not hear whatever she had to say. I doubt that the disciples would accept her as well. Maybe, through God’s wisdom, it was meant to be as the disciples were harshly punished for spreading the word of God.

Being with Jesus from the beginning she accepted him and was saved and forgiven of all sin. If I was to commit adultery I would be committing sin, would be convicted by the Holy Spirit and be sorry for it. No contradiction there. Of course I am saved and would not do that as I am "spiritually evolved" by the H Spirit who controls my conscious. However when not saved you may do that and not call it sin. 😊

There’s to many different books in the bible I don’t think they’d have room to put Mary in or the other books such as the book of Thomas. So they left certain parts out that are missing I enjoyed this information another book of the bible they didn’t put in the bible.

I felt incredibly strong on this issue of sin from age 15 (1975) till I dropped out of seminary in 86-87. Sin from one person to another is one thing. But to be declared a sinner from the day of your birth and that someone declaring you need salvation from an entity (Their God) or you'll suffer in a burning hell with Demons and Devils... It sounds like such a con even a 8 year old could discern. And that's only the beginning. I believe in life after life and consider myself a spiritual being having a human experience. There are many, many hints that Jesus was married. Specifically, after the Crucifixion, the Gospels agree that it was Mary the Magdalene who went early Sunday morning to wash and anoint Jesus' crucified body (Mark 16:1). People have the quaint idea that ancient Jews in Jerusalem went around "anointing" each other. They didn't. The Book Of Mary strikes me as in harmony with my understanding God The Father and Jesus Christ The Son. The Bible shows Christ enter acting with woman as he is GOD AND MAN.

We can see in the Gospel of John that it was JOHN who Jesus loved more than the others, and not in a gay way. Jesus simply needed to be closer to John to prepare him for the life he would live leading up to writing his vitally important Gospel and *the Revelation* he received at the end of his life (the Book of Revelation). We see in the "Mary Gospel" the division the gnostics wished to encourage in the minds of the masses; but division between the disciples isn't truth. They were Holy Spirit Inspired and of ONE ACCORD. There were no disagreements between them and Jesus wouldn't have encouraged such division. Like it or not HARMONY is presented in the BIBLE.

Mary met all the criteria to be a disciple yet in those days women were not in any high regard to teach and many would not hear whatever she had to say. Being with Jesus from the beginning she accepted him and was saved and forgiven of all sin. If I was to commit adultery I would be committing sin, would be convicted by the Holy Spirit and be sorry for it. No contradiction there. Of course I am saved and would not do that as I am "spiritually evolved" by the H Spirit who controls my conscious. However when not saved you may do that and not call it sin. 😊
