There are like 10 parts of this series. This video is like an older one.
In 2022, jhope basically manages the choreo practices, details and stage blocking during certain songs entirely.... like his role just grew, and the members look at him a lot more while he is talking to them.
You can see in this video during the 2015 clips while jhope talks the members sometimes are zoned out. He was only starting out back then and still figuring out how he can contribute.
Now this dude commands the room during practice.
In 2020, if bts wanted to cancel practice for the day, 😂 they all turned and looked at jhope. They need to get his approval first.
There is literally a live of when they went #1 on Billboard hot 100 and members were like
"we got #1, maybe we should cancel practice for today"
And all 6 of them turns and asks jhope, .... he just sat there, smiling, didn't say anything.
They didn't get to cancel practice that day. 😭😭😭😭

JK used to be very hard on himself when he made mistakes on stage which is understandable bc these boys couldn’t afford to not give the highest quality of performances especially with every fandom on their necks but it really joys me to see especially in one of their recent concerts which was Permission to Dance: On Stage in LA, he could just laugh it off when a mistake was made and just enjoy being there 🥺🫶

Hobi has such strong leadership skills. He and Jimin do really well in helping the others feel more comfortable with the choreography but they're always respectful and supportive from what we've seen. It's sweet how happy all of the members get when Hobi compliments their dancing.
I think the best jhope video right now for you to watch would be mmtg interview with jhope it's really funny and entertaining I would say

As a dancer their precision is just insane. It never ceases to amaze me. There are some really funny clips about them messing up and getting caught by Hobi. 🤣

J-hope as dance leader videos are some of my faves because it reminds us that he works really hard. On top of laying vocals, writing his raps sometimes producing and composing, as all the others do, he somehow also fits in mastering the choreo so he can help the others. Like when do these ppl sleep?

If you want sass, Jimin is your guy. Namjoon becomes sarcastic when angry. But I've seen all of them with a death stare which makes sense cos it's the quietest expression of anger, can get past the censorship you know.

The boys were as off as I’ve ever seen them (so still better than most) in the opening number at the concert I went to. It was enough that my more-casual fan spouse noticed. The boys even commented that they had been feeling off before the concert, but said that ARMY’s energy helped them get back into the right headspace. They nailed the rest of the concert. They’d been through a lot right before the show, so it was understandable.

Keep on with the fashion commentary, I love it, even when you mock them. I gotta say, they have had crazy stylists over the years, sometimes the stylists miss big time. It's not all perfect in boraland, but that's what we love, their mistakes and bad decisions are funny and relatable.

I do watch all dance practices again and again and enjoy to have a laugh when a member made a mistake. That is why I always amazed JIN's nearly flawless on stage performances (how much efforts to turn himself into a muscle memory type of performances?). Almost everytime, a member made a mistake, one will look at JHope lol, but J just smile or make funny face, so cute and encouraging. JHope memorized all members' dance parts that itself is AMAZING!

These compilations have so many parts they are all nice to watch
They kind often say they could have done better no matter how perfect it was, our perfectionists. I think they have gotten less critical on themselves over the years, like they don't take all the tiny mistakes you can't even see that hard anymore. Not meaning they don't try to do it perfect anymore but in a way thats its not the end of the world if it's not perfect. I think it was Namjoon that Said in their behind the scenes of their tour "done is better than perfect nothing is ever perfect"
I have always found it endearing that JHope counts in beats as opposed to number counting for movements. Don't get me wrong, he does use number counts, but his street dancer self uses music beats more often. I love it.
Great reaction! One thing BTS is known for is their insane synchronisation so on the rare occasion that they're not in sync, ARMY will probably notice but also start to wonder what had happened for them to be not in sync. Usually, when something like that happens there is a good reason for why they were a bit off.
All of this was pretty light in terms of how serious he can get when it comes to dancing. If he get's really really silent it's time to run, he def. doesn't play around when it's time to be professional.
When you commented if I realised they making mistake during live performances. Nah, I could watch them practicing for 100x and still don’t know the exact step. For me, as long they give their best and interactive during concert - we all can have fun.

A little while ago Hybe put out a performance quiz (on Weverse Magazine) and it had you guess the song based on choreography or guess the next move and I was surprised how well I did. I didn’t think I had that much choreo memorized but I guess I do😄. When I look at other people covering BTS choreo, you can tell a good cover from a so-so one 🤷🏾♀️

@@Jurnalist_ there are videos of various Idol groups covering BTS songs/choreography. The YT channel ohbootaeyeol has a lot of good idol cover compilations. but I think it would help to watch more BTS group MVs so you can know how the song was supposed to look before the cover. BTS has done some covers themselves like Rainism by Rain and Perfect Man by Shinhwa.
Have you watched his latest interview with the internet show MMTG? It's one of the funniest interviews I've seen with him. The host has JHope's same vibe and she roasts him (all in fun) a little bit. Not sure if your reaction would get blocked though.

6:52 never felt that way because they've literally never done this. I notice when they like slip or something or they are goofing off and show up late to a part of the performance tho (but those are usually light hearted moments at the concert and not like actual dance breaks) otherwise nah, they be super hard on their performances and we be like "wait there was a mistake?" lol

They also can afterwards watch the recording and see how the whole thing looks after he's done 💜 eta: I love hearing you're commentary on their fashion every video!

2:50 This was a special performance for army 🤓. A house party/fan meeting. Each of the members was doing another member routine or rap or... ;)
I read some comments around and they might be right. You seem clever enough, but don't rely much on compilations (you are completely out of context and you might think like here "Jin is struggling" but for the wrong reasons xD this was a Hobi solo routine).
So some old edits/compilations were heavily biased as to make you think: "Joon is god of destruction/super clumsy/he's dumb/he's a genius" (of course there is a bit of truth in all, but people aren't 1-dimensional), "Jin is bad/good at dancing/has learnt a lot/is super athletic" (the last one is true! XD), "Yoongi is savage/mean/unbothered" (he's the most passionate about music you'll ever see, sweetest, most caring guy, yes, AgustD too), "Hobi is super happy/super strict/fearful..." (again, there is a bit of truth in all), "Jimin is too caring/worries a lot", "Tae is too serious/too funny/weird" (he's just a guy who loves trolling sometimes, he's super sweet and he's really smart too), "JK is a baby/is super strong/cries a lot/loves his hyungs" (yep, all true in their right measure...)
I guess you see where I'm going ^^ "veteran" army know where all this comes from, but it's tempting for newer audiences/fans to use these cheat codes to try and get to know the guys in a nutshell, and it's not so easy.

So, for me, I don't really pay attention to the minor hiccups that happen on stage, and because BTS tend to keep their stages fresh, it can be hard to tell what's intentional or a cover up, but I do remember one performance in particular where they just felt off.
I don't even think that there was anything wrong with the choreography, but it was one of their first performances after Covid (satellite performance for Jimmy Fallon I think), and the performance felt like they weren't really present for the performance.
During my journey through this “rabbit hole”, I became weary of videos based on undated clips compilation, not necessarily following a time line period, and taken out of context for creating a narrative to feed into stereotypes or someone else’s understanding about whom should or shouldn’t get the credit for the Team’s success. While learning who the members are, shortcomings and all, I’ve learned it’s best to stick with the company’s video about each of the members and/or the Team (i.e., bombs, backstage, episodes, docs) and their interviews. Having followed your reactions from the beginning I know you’re industry savvy so, I can only add: beware of friends, because The Creator always takes care of guarding us from our enemies.
There are many 8TS’ “friends” out there giving advice, while being paid by or playing for a different piper; you may unwittingly be helping with their dissonant music. 💜💜😈💜💜
What is your point though, there is nothing wrong with this video, it's very accurate. So not sure what any of what you said in this comment has to do with this video more specifically. Now don't get me wrong, I know there are videos that may lead some to have the wrong idea, like why there is a Jimin dance teacher video, don't ask me. The creator could have definitely named it more correctly, or should I say more accurately, so as to not mislead people. Because there is one dance leader and that is Hobi, but with that type of title, it might be confusing, for those eho don't know that Jimin is like a second in command, that he helps lead with Hobi at times and helps teach the others from time to time, and takes the lead when Hobi can't be there, etc...
So again not sure why they didn't title it more accurately, but who knows. All I know is those videos exist and I even saw someone in the comments recommend that specific video, but I think we all kinds learn to take some of these videos with a grain of salt, so to speak, when it comes to the meaning behind them. But this video specifically is one that is pretty accurate, outdated but accurate.

Sometimes his comments are "cringe worthy". But he is not doing it intentionally. Also, the videos are taken from different times, and their dressing reflects maybe when they were less successful and Big Hit not having the budget etc and also the contexts I.e. what they were performing and whr and fir what. Sometimes, that is more infuriating than the comments itself as there is an absence of malice. It's the way some people/cultures joke. Not really fussed. Many reactors react without any cultural/"contextual" sensitivity that it comes across crass.

When they first performed no more dream during their tv debut, Jimin went the F*** off. He thought the performance was not up to par. He ended up apologizing . Our sweet Jimin had a temper.
Jurnalist, look on The Jimin Videos YT channel and please react to Jimin as dance teacher. He and Jimin work well together. Jimin since he is a math genius calculates spacial distance among the members. He make change the angle of a leg kick because he can envision the distance of the camera etc.
He draws the choreography. Hobi may call Jimin over for reinforcements.
You should watch their airport fashions. I might find a link. The more I watch you, you seem like a happy kid. LV fashion show. Oh, you mentioned something about interviews. Anyway, I’ll revisit that.

are you new here because if you think this video is negative id say stay ignorant as possible cause the amount of negative stuff/videos made about bts daily is unimaginable. this video/channel is not one of them. hes just poking fun which is common humor in the west its very funny and friendly to do this. hes not even a tiny bit being mean or negative. maybe youre not used to this type of humor but its very common even for armys in the west to do this. we laugh at their outfits sometimes too.
