In my opinion, he is the best dancer in the K-pop industry of all time and one of the best dancers in the world!💛 The K-pop industry is famous for its massively beautiful dance performances and wonderfully shot videos and clips. But not every artist or group can fulfill their plans and get used to the role and convey emotions to the viewer through the screen the way Jimin and the BTS group as a whole do. They have no equal in K-pop. The lyrics, performances and videos of Jimin (like BTS) are always very well done, thoughtful - every word, every movement, every detail, image are of great importance and carry a hidden message, touching the deepest strings of the soul.. The choreography danced in this video belongs to the dance style - group contemporary (contempo). This is modern choreography, which includes various directions. Contempo became a continuation of modern dance. It also includes elements of classical choreography, plastic arts, pantomime and acrobatics. The subtitles in the video are correct, they are just in English, and Jimin (like all K-pop) in his songs uses smooth transitions from Korean (his native) language to English. Hello, nice genuine reaction! Park Jimin is my favorite artist and one of my biases from the most awesome band on the planet, BTS. Jimin is an amazing vocalist with the most unique and gorgeous voice, and a magnificent dancer. You will love him, if you continue to dive into his solo work. He is very versatile and can perform and sing in various genres. Be sure to check out, WHO, Slow Dance and Be Mine (English Version) from his latest Album called Muse. Set Me Free Part 2 is from his first solo album called Face, which dropped in 2023, the main track from the Face album is called Like Crazy. He has other solo works that are all top tier, check out Serendipity, Lie and Filter.
The subtitles are correct as he's singing both in English and Korean and be aware some Korean words sound very simpler to odd English words at least to our Western ears. This song and his whole album 'Face' is about his feelings, thinking and what he was doing due to the Covid period. He and the members of BTS had a hard time in due to covid they all talk about. Set me Free is about his breaking free from the dark thought and feeling he had due to covid. He talks about that time in Suchwita which is talk and eat/drink interview series that his band mate Suga (aka Agust D) hosts for all the members and other guests from their company and friends they have within the South Korean Entertainment Industry.
This type of choreography is called lyrical dance because the moves are reflecting the meaning/emotions of the song lyrics. Lyrical dance is a style that evolved from contemporary dance, which evolved from modern dance. Of the three, modern dance is the one that has the least structure, doesn't always follow the beat of the music, and seems kind of "weird" at first to people unfamiliar with it. Contemporary dance takes the ideas of modern dance and gives it more structure. It's easier to understand how it connects to music, but is still very creative and unusual. Lyrical dance takes contemporary dance and creates a visual story that matches the one being told in the song. It still has very unusual moves, but somehow the viewer "gets it" when seen with the song it was choreographed for.

Jimin is an incredible vocalist who can hit the highest notes and sing songs in a variety of styles. He is also the author and composer (co-author) of his own songs and some songs of the BTS group, of which he is the vocalist.
Jimin is an amazing dancer, one of a kind.. With his own dance style - unique! In my opinion, he is the best dancer in the K-pop industry of all time and one of the best dancers in the world!💛
The K-pop industry is famous for its massively beautiful dance performances and wonderfully shot videos and clips. But not every artist or group can fulfill their plans and get used to the role and convey emotions to the viewer through the screen the way Jimin and the BTS group as a whole do. They have no equal in K-pop. The lyrics, performances and videos of Jimin (like BTS) are always very well done, thoughtful - every word, every movement, every detail, image are of great importance and carry a hidden message, touching the deepest strings of the soul..
The choreography danced in this video belongs to the dance style - group contemporary (contempo). This is modern choreography, which includes various directions. Contempo became a continuation of modern dance. It also includes elements of classical choreography, plastic arts, pantomime and acrobatics.
The subtitles in the video are correct, they are just in English, and Jimin (like all K-pop) in his songs uses smooth transitions from Korean (his native) language to English. That's why there are discrepancies between what he sings and what you read.

Jimin is an amazing vocalist with the most unique and gorgeous voice, and a magnificent dancer. You will love him, if you continue to dive into his solo work. He is very versatile and can perform and sing in various genres. Be sure to check out, WHO, Slow Dance and Be Mine (English Version) from his latest Album called Muse. Set Me Free Part 2 is from his first solo album called Face, which dropped in 2023, the main track from the Face album is called Like Crazy. The subtitles are correct as he's singing both in English and Korean and be aware some Korean words sound very simpler to odd English words at least to our Western ears. This song and his whole album 'Face' is about his feelings, thinking and what he was doing due to the Covid period. He and the members of BTS had a hard time in due to covid they all talk about.
Set me Free is about his breaking free from the dark thought and feeling he had due to covid. He talks about that time in Suchwita which is talk and eat/drink interview series that his band mate Suga (aka Agust D) hosts for all the members and other guests from their company and friends they have within the South Korean Entertainment Industry.

This type of choreography is called lyrical dance because the moves are reflecting the meaning/emotions of the song lyrics. Lyrical dance is a style that evolved from contemporary dance, which evolved from modern dance.
Of the three, modern dance is the one that has the least structure, doesn't always follow the beat of the music, and seems kind of "weird" at first to people unfamiliar with it.
Contemporary dance takes the ideas of modern dance and gives it more structure. It's easier to understand how it connects to music, but is still very creative and unusual.
Lyrical dance takes contemporary dance and creates a visual story that matches the one being told in the song. It still has very unusual moves, but somehow the viewer "gets it" when seen with the song it was choreographed for.
