Note that grades, extracurriculars, and awards have no influence on your ability to do well in university, they are mostly to get your foot in the door. The most important aspect (for universities without a supplemental application) are your grades. If supp apps are required, I'd say that ECs play a larger role as long as you meet the grade cutoff (just speculation though, I don't have experience with many supp apps). Good luck!

I know waiting is NOT fun, but it's actually not so bad when you don't think about it and have fun doing other things outside of your studies. When you look back, you'll feel silly that you felt stressed about this! Good luck!

Do universities look at your grade 11 mark? What exactly goes into consideration when applying for universities, i heard they look at grade 11 marks and grade 12 first semester but am not too sure pls let me know! Love the vids btw :)
yes, they do look at grade 11 marks for early acceptance. Grade 12 marks matter the most though imo

hey i want to go to university of guelph and i checked there requirements it doesn't say any specific average what does that even mean ?
Contact the university, they can help you with that (I don't know what program you're applying to so I can't really help)
My average is in the low 80s it is now may and I haven’t gotten any call back. Should I complete the special considerations link they give so that way they may accept me? Btw I do actually apply to their criteria for special consideration
If you're talking about med sci, and you are actually eligible... Then I don't see why not, go for it!
What scholarship did you was suppose to earn with more than 95%? I really want to go there but I need a good scholarship

So Ive applied to FIMS at UWO. And ive got some questions! First, OUAC send university all your grades from grade 11 and 12, so about 18 courses (I have 2 extra credits), and how do they pick your grades? The minimum is 80 for FIMS, and I have grade 12 english, math and calculus that are mid 80s, and rest of the grade 12 courses are availabe but they are mid 70s like physic and bio. So when they look at my grades, do these matter as my grade 11 english and math are mid 80s though these courses are repetitive. (theres no pre courses repuired for fims)
Also, did you fill the extraculliar activity form (its optional) when you applied?
btw how did u know that they also consider low average ppl at the end as you have such high grades... you got accepted within 2 weeks l _ l

Highest grades will be picked (after required courses are). I didn't fill in the EC form, and low averages will be considered (I don't know exactly when because I don't work with admissions haha)
Are acceptance rates shown online true? Is it a smart idea to take AP exams as an international(non-us) high school student? Will that increase my chances of getting accepted to Canadian universities?
unsure of the acceptance rates because I didn't look at them back when I applied (whoops). AP exams can be used as credits but I'm not sure it'll exactly increase your chances of getting in (especially if you'll have a harder time getting good grades in these classes)

Bro I have B+ and A+ on most of my classes and I failed my elective computer science and I’m thinking of getting into McMaster Business (finance to be exact) I’m currently in grade 11 and I’m stressing about that one fail I got cause they are going to looo into my grade 11 grades for early acceptance
early acceptance vs late acceptance is still an acceptance nonetheless. Keep your head up!
