RTE TV license PIF. TV sponger. Circa 1969/1970

Early surviving example of an RTE public information TV license advert. A middle class housewife is tormented by the real or imaginary fear that people see her as "that sort" for forgetting to pay her TV license. Filmed partially in Stillorgan Shopping centre. First shown either 1969 or 70, apparently it ran well into the 70s. The husband is played by Des Nealon.
