I honestly believe that Transformation Church will be a cornerstone of faith for this generation. The anointing that God has placed on the leadership of that church is reverberating all over the world. I truly believe that Pastor Mike is going to be looked at as a Billy Graham or a TD Jakes for this generation. They are being intentional with their message, and they are impacting the kingdom in a major way. Glory to God.

You said, we need to believe who God says we are and that blew my mind! I've always had this internal voice inside of me, that always told me (from a very young age) that I was meant to stand out from the crowd and lead others. Throughout my young life, I've looked for and fought for those positions which I thought were mine because of that little voice inside me. But nothing really worked out the way that I thought that they should work out and it always crushed me.
Today, I'm 27 years old, I'm about to turn 28, I'm running my 4th business, the other 2 failed and the other is okay. It's the 4th business that has me shook because it's all God. I've finally come to understand that the little voice inside of me was God speaking to me EVERYDAY. And today I get to enjoy these conversations with him.
When I heard you say "we need to believe who God says we are" I began to cry like a child because now that I am following God's voice and His direction, I am becoming exactly who He said I would be. I don't even know where this business is going and I don't know how it's getting there, all that I know is it that God got me here and He is going to lead me through it. It's His grace, it's always been His grace!

I can see how people may be confused by this message but the Holy Spirit interpretted it to me as not that we no longer have to stop sinning but because of the Love that God has for us, we won't continue to hurt Him in sin. But we will continually come to Him regardless of our sin. If we believe in Jesus and that God's grace and love can never depart from us, our own love for God grows and we no longer sin because we are in the faith. Our standing and relationship with God changes us and our actions.

Rachel Williams amen 🙏🏽 I was confused toward the end as well but after reading some people’s comments, I realized the bigger picture behind this message. And never has he stated for us to live intentionally in sin, because he did in fact (as you’ve mentioned) talked about how our love for Him will cause us to not live in sin. Well done Pastor Todd!

but we also shouldn’t be so casual about sin....God is HOLY. but that’s the beautiful thing about the Holy Spirit when we submit our will to following Christ we’ll never want to sin and get away with it especially when we truly understand grace and the price that was paid for us to not have to live a sinful life anymore

True..God said if you Love me you will obey my word.. The closer we get to Jesus through relationship the more we desire to walk in Holiness.. Jesus saved us through grace, our daily walk magnifies Jesus and with the added benefit of not going through things that only bring sorrow.. I love the way someone I heard define sin.. S.I.N = self inflicted nonsense.

I have been getting blessed from his sermons. I am literally at work listening to them back to back, and I am just at my cubicle crying lol. My soul has been so heavy and I have been avoiding God because of my sins. I've grew up in church and it's always said the fear of God will keep you in line, but all it has done is keep me away from him and try to hide. This series has opened my heart and mind to accept him differently and it feels so good. It's the guilt that keeps us away, but it's the unconditional love that should keep us near. I receive it because I know I doesn't deserve it, but it will guide me to begin learn to love him the same and try to love other the same as well.
This channel is the blessing. Keep going guys!

So many young people who are believers beat themselves up daily because they’re still bound to smoking weed and they feel like God doesnt hear them anymore and that he doesn’t love them. But I love this word because just by being a believer Im a right standing with God. Glory be to God.

Thursday night I read an article about grace and it literally broke through the religious cage I had been living in. I met up with a friend of mine on Friday( we had been speaking together on Tuesday about how we've felt guilty and sad and "convicted" because we were unable to break our bad habits). I then excitedly shared the the good news of the gospel God brought to me and we watched this video together basically confirming everything I had been reading about. God literally orchestrated everything for the past three days to teach me who he really is so that I can start life anew and free! I thought I was going crazy and I wanted to laugh like a maniac because I have grace! I am free! I have freedom in Christ! He has forgiven all my sins and now all I can do is Thank Him and pray I learn more about him through the lens of grace. So that I may naturally start to shed the things that are not of him not out of fear but out of love

I think Pastor Mike is definitely living up to the name of Transformation Church. Not just within our own lives, but revealing the true message that God has always wanted us to hear. I grew up believing I had to live in complete fear and do performative acts to secure my place in Heaven. My faith and belief was weak. But now, as I sit with the Word more and sit with God's presence more, I am realizing the Bible is a book of love and open arms, not fear indulging. My faith is stronger, my love is stronger, and my relationship with God is definitely growing by the second.

49:10 'People don't go to hell for sin. Jesus already paid for that. They go to hell for unbelief'. At first I was confused because unbelief is also a sin, so I read that as 'People don't go to hell for sin. Jesus already paid for that. They go to hell for sin'.
So I was like, If Jesus already paid the price for sin (which is true), and unbelief is a sin, then why should unbelievers go to hell? However, I was pretty sure that unbelievers will go to hell since those who do not believe in Jesus will die (another way of reading John 3:16b) , John 3:18 and Revelation 21:8. Then I realized that there must be different levels of sin - two kinds to be specific (as far as I know), not the false way of separating white lies and heavy lies, or large sins and small sins but something different that separates the sins christ came to die for and the sin which cuts us off from the benefits of Christ's payments (undeserved righteousness by faith through grace).
Then a bible verse that always confused me popped into my head (God speaks) - 1 John 5:16 - '...I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death....'. I used to feel that this verse meant that there are different kinds of sins in the false sense (I.e killing someone is worse than telling a lie, etc), and was scared of committing the sins that lead to death. I was scared because since those sins led to death, I knew that if I committed them I would die, but I didn't know what exactly they were so it was like living my life walking in a minefield. But James 2:10 says 'whoever keeps the law but stumbles at one point is guilty of breaking it all'. So I knew that it wasn't a matter of weighing sins.
Now it all makes sense. The sin that leads to death is refusing to accept and believe in the sacrifice that atones for all your sins. One who commits the sins that don't lead to death (sins other than disbelief in Christ) can be saved, but one who rejects salvation by not believing in the atonement of our sins by Christ (the sin that leads to death) obviously cannot be saved. So 1 John 5: 16 means that the only sin that can separate us from the forgiveness of God is the sin of choosing not to believe that God has forgiven us and cleansed us from our iniquities through Jesus his son (belief in Jesus), as this would be choosing not to accept God's gift of undeserved forgiveness and righteousness.

@@yvonneharare1519 we as christian only believe in what Christ did on the cross , which is the death , burial and ressurrection , there are different gospels , The Kingdom Gospel ( which is the gospel which most pastor use to preach) and The Gospel of Grace ( Which is the gospel we Christian should believe in )
Alot of people say there is only One Gospel but if someone could be honest to themselves , how is it one verse says you have to be holy or do right to be with the Lord and another verse say we who just believed will be justified as righteous?
If we say we're saved by Grace means we have no way to do anything to earn righteousness , but what God did is saved us.
If we say we are saved by Grace but we have to work it out to prove it? Thats Faith Plus Works which is no longer is Grace which saves us.

    Sermon Notes:
    - When you put your faith in Jesus you experience grace
    - God‘s grace is not just at the beginning it’s sufficient through your life
    - If you break one law, you’re just as guilty as someone who broke all of the laws ; laws=commandments
    - I’m not made righteous, I’ve been made righteous, so I do righteous things
    - You are right with God
    - What are you trying to measure up to
    - Righteousness is right standing with God
    - No matter what the enemy says you are right with God, no matter what you did you are right with God
    - I am made righteous by my position, not by my performance
    - People don’t go to hell because of sin, they go to hell for unbelief
    - To know that you are right with God all you have to do is believe
    - Your actions or your works don’t make you right with God your belief makes you right with God

I needed this today! I’ve been having a lot of those days where the enemy would tell me oh you didn’t keep up with the set time you take for God when you wake up? He won’t use you anymore or you’re not doing enough or that I’m a bad person or God’s going to be mad at me or really anything like that. And I noticed those moments especially happen when I take a step further or closer to God, the enemy tries to come in and make me feel negative when I was just happy and excited

I really needed this message because I have recently been opening my heart back up to the Lord and seeking church to help restore my faith.Today I didn't make it to church and I was so upset because I felt like I was disappointing God, I would typically just stay in my negative feelings in but instead I chose to play this sermon. I previously listened to about the first seven minutes months ago and never finished it. But God's timing is always right because I know I wouldn't been able to receive this truly in my heart. By the end of this sermon I am in tears and beyond thankful for the Grace that God provides me, even when I know that I don't deserve it. He wants me to believe in order to build a better relationship with him despite all the sin I've done and the sin I am sure that I still do. The prayer at the end touched my spirit and allow me to express my love for God. I am no longer going to allow minor slips to prevent me from continuing my relationship with God. Pastor Todd, I am thankful for your voice and perspective , as well as the importance you are putting on how forgiving and loving the Lord is. Previously with me feeling the need to fear God in such a way, I would be so disappointed in myself that I felt that I would not be the child that God wants to call his own. Regardless, through your words I know his Grace is given to us because of his love and I have to choose to believe in him no matter how I may feel about myself. May God continue to bless you and your church!

I’m so grateful for online sermons. I’ve been going through a deep depression for the last 2 months. Which, for me, means not getting out of bed or even leaving the house. Therefore, not going to church. Today, God pulled me out & led me here. I haven’t heard the word yet, but it just feels right.

I receive yet do believe keeping his laws are important and part of our walk ,
He said let us ask for wisdom and get understanding...
    He’s a Father...
He gave and gives grace but dismissal of his rules is a no no.

    • @alindaschaap
      @alindaschaap 6 лет назад +12

Following the Spirit will lead to a godly life. The law is perfect and good, that's why we are unable to keep it and need grace. True grace will produce the fruit of the Spirit, which is higher than keeping the law. For example : you shall not steal (law) can still be done with a heart of stone. But the fruit of forgiveness and kindness go beyond not stealing. It goes toward giving.

Hosea 4:6 says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children”. God definitely spoke through Mike with the Holy Spirit, This is the best piece of knowledge or truth that we can have. Thank you Jesus!
