Video idea : The whip soldier experiment. Here is why : I once was playing medieval mode, and i was like "hey, let's try soldier with whip" and to my surprise, it worked quite well, not always, but if you have a slow class (a heavy or another soldier) with you, you can make it faster easily + you are faster more often, and being fast in melee pvp is pretty strong. You can also spam the whip on everyone on your team if you manage to do that (the fact that some people stays arround points help a lot). So in medieval mode : it's definitely viable, even very good. Not in medivela mode : I have no idea if it can be good, but making a heavy or a pyro almost as fast as a scout sounds like fun 😈. Anyways, feel free to try or not to try, I can't and won't force you. Edit : I tried to do it not in medieval mode, it is pretty unusable without a heavy on your team, i got a few mele kills when there was one, but it is best not to rely entierly on the whip.
