Wow! That second egg was just so amazing! And the third one was opal! That alone is pretty rare and not only was it opal but you could see the flow banding in the opal too! Amazing! And the first one really did look like lightning striking, but to me it was striking the ocean! The second one was by far, the prettiest and the colors and banding were just unparalleled. But all three were amazing!
If this was filmed a year ago, it is good to know that your enthusiasm and delight has just grown stronger. May you & yours live long & prosper., looks like the force is with you.
Great video! Thunder eggs are so much fun to cut open as they are all unique. Last weekend we took the family fossicking at Mt. Tamborine in Queensland, Australia and found some amazing thunder eggs. Cutting them open with my daughter when we got home is something we'll both always remember and treasure.
That second one has sooo much goin on! They're all great, but that second one is just wow! These are probably my favorite thing to cut open because there's just so much variety.
Those were awesome. I still think the exchange should be you get one half, but your a generous man for doing it just for the content. Being from Oregon I have yet to find a Thunderegg of my own but do own one and they are amazing. Glad you got one with some waterlines 😀
I love cutting thunder eggs, and have been to the ranch a couple of times digging for them.It is truly a beautiful place!Unfortunately, they do not allow people to go digging there anymore, but they still sell the thundereggs, for a very reasonable price.I have resorted to slicing mine multiple times, becuse then the slices can be make into pendants! Otherwise, they just sit in a drawer. The brown crust is very hard and brittle, and sometimes the whole thing will just aobut disintegrate, but the slices reveal more beauty each time they are cut.
I came across what I’ve always heard called Potato Rocks here in Oklahoma. They look like a crazy conglomerate on the outside and hollow on the inside with just very fine dirt/sand inside. They look kinda like Thunder Eggs on the outside.
Those are with almost 100% certainty Richardson's Thundereggs. Size is right, outside shell raised seams are right, interiors are right. I have 2 triples (3 stuck together) and a bunch of doubles. That third one with the common opal is quite nice as well. The waterline like the second one is also common. Gorgeous variety :D
Those thunder eggs are awesome but very different. What were the chances that would happening? I saw a video of the landmarks on a thunder eggs and were to cut but I'm not sure now what they were. What did Kyle say to look for so you can plan your cut? Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.
Those are absolutely beautiful. I have a ton of agates and geodes (all very small) and I get them all from two harbors, superior, and Duluth (MN and WI) along the huge rock beach’s and if I’m lucky on MN point and WI point the sand beaches. I’ve never seen a “thunder egg” before but still beautiful. :)
It's a shame that 2nd one got "lost in the mail" when you mailed them back. The last one you did might fluoresce, did you UV it? Kyle is the Man, Tucker is the Cat.
Hey Taylor - can I ask why you used the solid edge blade instead of the serrated one? I am about to pull the trigger on this 10" saw, and I know one of the things I'm going to be doing a lot is cutting geodes, and that blade was recommended for it, or so I thought. Thanks -
Hey there! Just found your channel and really enjoying it! I have kinda a weird question. I have 2 big rocks I found in the garage of my old house that the previous owners left behind. I contacted 2 different rock groups, one local and one the next state over, and neither one could tell me what they are made of. I wouldn't mind cutting them in half but not even sure if it would be worth it. Any suggestions? To me it looks like there's some sort of crystals on the outside. If you'd like to take a look at them I'd be happy to send photos as well. Thank you!
Thanks SO much for watching! Make sure to check out the description to see Kyle’s channel link 🤘🤘
Subscribed to his channel. He has some great videos. I like the obsidian glass videos.

I just went thunder egg hunting recently and I got quite good luck!
Awesome!
Oregon thunder eggs? Ah yes, you just said that. Very typical, very nice

Amazing.! I’ve heard of thunder eggs, but I thought they were geodes.

Amazing!
The last one looks like two inuits tripping to me. Like whoa
Amazing. Thanks so for your video.✌️✌️
I had no idea what a thunder egg was until I watched this video haha. Super cool! They have some neat details! Great vid as always! :-)
Pretty interesting how the third one has an x shape on the inside and outside. Can't wait for the ultra close up images.
Merci beaucoup pour votre vidéo enrichissante j'aime se que vous faites.
Je vais essayer de découper des pierres avec ma scie à carrelage .
Man, those are so cool! Don't think we have those on the east side of superior, but I wish we did.
Im pretty new at the rock hunting. But i love watching the video. I have what i think is a thunder egg..but im not sure.

Really awesome thanks
Muito obg viu parabéns pelo seu trabalho
How do you know it’s a thunder egg? I’m so intrigued. That second one is Ahhhh-mazing.
2:54 the left side looks like a Japanese painting 😍
It looks like you cut between water level layers on the third one! If you were to cut again perpendicular to the first cut, there might be banding

WOAH DUDE NO WAY! Stone #2 was a lucky cut! Spot on! 🎯🤘👍
They kind of have the same shape in the center 🤔🤔🤔
That’s thunder eggs 🤘🤘
You should check out Dan Hurd prospecting for and cutting open Thunder Eggs up on one of his claims in British Columbia.
It's a shame that 2nd one got "lost in the mail" when you mailed them back. The last one you did might fluoresce, did you UV it? Kyle is the Man, Tucker is the Cat.
😂 yeah I wish I could have that one but soooo happy to send it back!
That 3rd one looks just like a fox!!
Great video keep it up bro
The second one, the piece on the left. Looks like a skeleton reaching at you from the void
The third rock looks like a panda

I use the 10” thin sintered, it’s my favorite of the offered blades
@@AgateDad Thanks ... I guess I'll ... er ... fool around and find out.
T bon travail ou est ce qu on peut trouver ces oeufs genial .et merci❤
I found a good raw pounder at work but I do not have a saw it’s a good jasp agate could I send it to you?
Something tells me there will be thunder egg hunting in your future.
I just found one in my yard

I'm pretty sure they were uncut for far more than 20 years.
You know if you watched, you’d know what I mean lol
@@AgateDad i know i was just making a joke about your thumbnail.
🌟🌟とても綺麗ですね🌟🌟

"What is a Thunder Egg 🥚 😳 exactly"???
Just waiting for his wet fingers to slip 😱
Then what? Lol it’s a toothless blade
"Uncut for 20 years". Uhh pretty sure its been longer than that.
If you can't comprehend what was actually meant by that, then move along..
@@AgateDad Perhaps you could add "vintage" or "abandoned" to the title to really jazz it up.
Perhaps no
