You need to enable gode preview in settings and then when in preview to click the button.

I can't hear anything but a background jingle and don't know how to turn it OFF or DOWN. The speaker is drowned out by the noise

I just watched it without any problems. It sounds like you may have two things open at same time or RUclips settings are set for RUclips to continue in the background, listening to music for instance.
