Wonderful insight into their musical journey found this really interesting thank you so much for posting :)
Thanks Danny. What a wonderful couple. Monk
These two were a national treasure. They have brought me endless excitement and pleasure for more than 70 years. God bless them both.
One of my favorite sessions for sure.
RIP to both wonderful artists.
Confession I had never heard of these two until I came across a mention of them by Anita O’Day in her autobiography “High Times Hard Times. They had great professionalism, innovation and a truly special sound.
This interview is so beautiful. Their stories are just heart warning and the obvious love and affection between the two is the sweetest I have ever seen. Two peas in a pod, this blessed couple.
Beloved to me! Thank you!!!
My favorite album is "Double Take". It should have won, at least, FIVE Grammys.
Brother of the marvellous Irene Kral.
I LOVED JACKIE & ROY THE FIRST TIME I HEARD THE LP (YES I SAID LP) LOVESICK AND NOW THERE BOTH GONE WHAT A SAD LOSS
This was a great interview, however, I can't believe there couldn't have been a better venue with fans allowed to support them and show their love and respect for Jackie and Roy, instead of some back hallway. Still, I'm glad this was captured, regardless.
26:23 how right he was!
