I am so scared to sing loud so I trap my voice inside and go really quiet on the harder notes despite being able to sing them if I wasn't so scared. 2024 is the year I stop doing this

Why are you scared? Are you scared because of other people? Are you self conscious? You have 1 life! If singing is one of those things in life that you enjoy or even love then I say DO IT!! Everyone is scared at first. Always worried what the next person will say or even your family. The truth is, "Who cares?!"

I just wanted to ask u, i sing pretty well with song turned on, but when i turn it off and sing, it sounds very bad, like i can't hear the notes, so what exercises should i do to remove that, and sing better without song turned on?
I am not a teacher but do lessons and I sing too, The suggestion. I can give would be, practice the song first with the vocals in the track, the entry again on your own until you get it,. you just have to get used to doing it with out the tracks, I never have personally had that issue with hearing the notes, but I understand that you can feel a sense of comfort and security by having there track too,. I sometimes feel like I need to have an accompaniment and the melody under me to feel the sense of security anyway,..But as far as you having the problem of not hearing it, I think you probably are able to hear it you probably are just used to only having the vocal track under you, but I would try to do without the vocals on your own after practicing once with the track, then o your own, etc,.. until you get it,. this is only a thought and suggestion I can think of for you, maybe try it and see if it helps you get a sense of your voice better
