I am here to hopefully make you feel better! If you are recording singing from your phone, then it won't sound the same as when you are live.
Tbh, if u think u sound good in bathroom.. Then u GOOD.. I know how it felt to hear ur own voice.. Kinda cringy n u hate it.. But here a tip for u.. Just send it to u friends or family members.. Let them say something about it.. If they say something not good about it, train more.. If they say something good, confident boost n still need to train more.. Everybody can sing, remember? Be good to ur self, treat ur self better.. Peace out..

I think my problem is is when I sing people say it sounds good but in reality it wasn't that good at all. First off I'd like for people to be honest, it might make me embarrassed and kill my mood a bit, but I'll get over it, but also tell me what sounded off. What was it that wasn't good so I can go home and work on it.
Don't be that person who lies. Give constructive criticism, but be nice. :)

trust me ive felt that way as well and its good to know what you are and are not good at ya know? not being all braggy and stuff but you know coming from a perfectionist you really gotta learn to not be so hard on yourself. if you really are a bad singer but want it bad enough you can turn out great! not the best example but i mean zac efron couldnt sing in the first high school musical but listen to rewrite the stars with zendaya! they dont need someone elses voice over for him anymore. it takes time. you got this keep going i believe in you have a great day or night

4. Was on key
When I was in elementary school, my classmates always say that I have a good voice, but whenener there's an event where our class have to do a performance, they never let me sing a solo or anything. The only solo part I ever got was rapping a verse and I kinda blew it up (my anxiety took the best of me).
Eventually, I just thought of it as a nice way for them to tell me I can't sing rather than let me embarassed myself if they let me sing a solo.
I kept my singing to myself after that.

I look up "how to be a good singer" on RUclips but they teach you how to sing higher notes without your voice cracking. I can sing high notes. I need to learn how to sing LOW NOTES BUT NOBODY HELPS WITH THAT :c

Welp you gotta work your way down slowly starting from the most comfortable note to the lowest note you can sing comfortably. You can do some vocal exercises for your vocal type and practice singing a song, master the original version then lower it half step down, master that, then go lower and all.
There are also some cool techniques you can do that a capella bass singers do! I, a girl, can do subharmonics, low growls, and vocal fry but it took me months to get a good grasp of em, which will take a bit longer to also master them lolol.
But then please don't forget bout the higher end of your range!! Expand both!! Practice better singing techniques and explore vocal registers! And most importantly have fun!!!!

complicated roach same a lot of ppl doing think I’m a girl- but I tried singing high pitch for the first time and it actually was pretty decent. I just need to work on rlly getting those notes. U can try too!

I just recently learned that I'm more off pitch than I think I am. It's definitely difficult to hear it yourself, but I've always felt like I was off pitch because something would feel so off about the singing, and I listen to a lot of female rock artists as dude, and automatically love singing their songs which need a totally different technique that a dude can never measure up to. I've come to realize that my singing technique is shit because it's very forced and will sound a bit like kermit the frog lol. I'm now trying to see what I can do about that.

One thing i gotta point out is that you're not ever meant to resonate from the throat apart from if you sing in chest voice.
3 key resonaters is the head the chest and your mix. The mix is the mask of your face so you will indeed incorporate nasal resonance into your mix voice.

I sing beautifully when i use my mickey mouse type of voice but if i use my speaking voice, i strain a lot
I'm always so scared about singing open because I normally get so loud and I get nervous about it. I was a sorprano 1 in choir and I was loud there but like I just ugh can't be loud by myself. I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way
