      Professional only means that's how they make their living. If anything professional coaches are more likely to give you less productive tips to keep you paying for coaching. Free tips and advice will be coming from people that are passionate about the art and not about money

    The cardio tip was sooooo beyond intelligent. They didn’t teach that to us in school, but I figured that out one day when I was having a home concert. I was dancing a lot, and my singing started to flow out more after I was done dancing.

    I have a question: when I sing with falsetto, I can hit that specific high note that I want or even higher, but when I switched it to a more powerful voice, aka. my actual voice, I can’t hit it, not even near there. so which one is my actual vocal range?

    Could you recommend what to do when you know you can hit them high notes but you just can't get up there? Like you can hit it with the music but without the music you suddenly a bad singer.
    I'm a soprano I and I have region choir coming up and I need to be able to hit those notes by myself. I get nervous or I just straight up flop.
    I learned how to sing by copying what I heard so now that I'm older...I have no idea what my "real" voice is because I end up sounding like what I hear or the person singing around me.
    Fellow choir girls have told me that when they sing around me they kinda lose my voice as I sound like them and I make them think they're louder than they are.
    People say I'm a really good singer but like...I feel like I'm not. I don't know why I'm so afraid of high notes.
    Thanks for the tips tho

    • @wlwcats5810

      I totally agree with those two amazing people that just replied haha. I’d like to add on and say you’re doing EVERYTHING RIGHT buddy.
      For a choir, you are supposed to blend in. If you “lose your voice sounding like them” that means you are naturally blending in with your soprano mates.
      That’s what’s gonna make your choir sound better. You’re supposed level yourself so that you sound like them.
      Now, when you’re not in choir, thennnn that’s when you whip out your beautiful voice.
      When you’re singing alone, (at home or wherever) then develop your natural tone. So that you just have two automatic settings. Choir singing, your natural singing.
      Hope this makes sense 😂💜

    • @fangirling_2477
      @fangirling_2477 6 лет назад +5

      Fatima Rahmetova HOW. I be switching keys like a fast and furious movie switches lane.
      I know I can sing high because when I was younger, I could sing Celione Dion with ease but then again I was copying and my voice got deeper.
      I started listening to deeper singers and I just kinda lost access to my high voice.

    Great video! I'mma use this bc I do want to "support" the E7 in Emotions. Also, I've notice a change on my vocals without my voice changing because of puberty, and I often sound kinda raspy. Does that mean I have nodules or is it simply that I need vocal rest??

      It’s hard to say, because I’m not a doctor lol so if you feel like something is definitely wrong and you feel like your throat isn’t getting any better, then check with a doctor to see if you did develop nodes. But it could be puberty 🤷🏽‍♀️

    I am a beginner and just a week ago I hit a way higher note on accident. That's when I realized my range went from F5 to C6. But now I want to learn how to keep my voice healthyyyyy

    I don't know my voice type. I have a range of 4.2 octaves from E3 to G7 but it's basically useless since that my break (the highest I can sing in my belt) is around a C#5, which is kind of eh. What would be my voice type?

    • @loverbutch
      @loverbutch 2 года назад

      Wow 4.2 octaves is impressive! Im trying to increase my vocal range cuz my range is less than 2 octaves F#3 to smth. You might be mezzo soprano or even alto.

    Actually my vocal range is Rock/Metal. No Mariah or Aguilera for me. These tips could work for even me or anyone who sings in this genre. FYI - I might not always watch your videos but I do watch and I think you're doing a great job. Keep up the good work.
