This could actually happen in canon, I remember reading a book in Skyrim mentioning how the draugr are getting more organized. Also a Falmer invasion is also likely.
I love how he kills that one hostile guy in whiterun, and then when he returns later he's completely forgot about it and says there's a *killer* in whiterun when he finds the body again.
I like to imagine that this is a timline where the draugr managed to get out of their tombs and just decide to wreck havoc in Skyrim. Actually, those big doors that you need a claw to open were made to keep the draugr traped inside.
They should add a mod where it's the equivalent to the movie "It Follows" so theres always gonna he a constant threat slowly following you throughout skyrim, sneaking won't stop him, and he's severely over leveled to never die and just kick your ass (reasonably, not like one shit, just make you pee when half your health is gone in 2 hits from behind you)
There's a few, there's He Follows, which is pretty much exactly what you described except I think the follower is actually unkillable. The one I use is Called Nightbringer which will randomly spawn a grim reaper type mini boss in your vicinity. He's kind of a glass cannon so he's easy to defeat but can really ruin your day if he gets the drop on you.
There is one that I forgot. It gives you a doppleganger that tries to kill you every now and then. It is killable but it kepts coming back later, stronger.
Pssh, who needs mods, we already have Talsgar the wanderer who seems to get pissed at me in every playthrough then tries to kill me whenever he sees me

Problem with hiring modders is that is how we end up with things like creation club and paid mods. They would also be limited on time, budget, and most importantly creativity than they would be doing this stuff at their own pace as a hobby or side source of income.

Whoever is interested in this, you can pretty much just install the mod Sands Of Time. That one by itself already makes Skyrim into a horror game by adding creepy enemies and numerous events that happens at random. I also recommend mods that enable permadeath cuz it makes everything even scarier when you only have one life.

I feel like you kinda need the mods that put roving bands of monster slaying Templar Knights into the game and elite level city guards to balance everything out a little so there is at least some chance of the cities not falling immediately.
I also feel mods like Skyrim at War or Immersive patrols might work well too, and maybe a city mod like Great Cities of Skyrim. You'd have extra guards patrolling the immediate vicinity of these beefed-up cities and fighting enemies before they can attack, it would add the extra layers of defense they need now.
And probably higher level towns people that respawn after a few days. That way everyones not just dead and empty towns after being there for 5 minutes.
This is one of your longer videos, and initially I wasn't going to watch past 10 minutes... but then the mods just made everything more ridiculous, I watched all the way through and now I can only think that it almost made a perfect horror playthrough of skyrim. It never got through the story, but that's the beauty.

It was terrifying to hit level 20 and see every city totally overrun. I wish I had given more time to record, because once that happened, the ENTIRE world was filled with zombies, not just the cities and outskirts of cities. I flew across the map and there wasn't ONE area not covered in zombies
As a professional Nightingale and Listener with sneak 100,nope most of the stuff literally can't see me in dark despite me agressively breathing on their knees.
If you ever do anything like this again, I recommend getting dawnbreaker. Its a sword that plows through draugr and zombies like butter, plus explodes them as a bonus.

I'm curious what would be the best places to be during this scenario, The Dawnguard and Castle Volkihar (If you're a vampire) for obvious reasons, the College because I wouldn't be surprised If they could keep the gate closed with magic and just Immolate every hostile creature that would get close, Windhelm and Solitude might have a good start but If and when they get past the Initial gates, It's over, Markarth Is another good option, a lot of high points and sturdy structures as well as a whole bunch of places for funneling draugr, I can't really be sure what else would be a good place to stay safe from this chaos that Isn't In Oblivion, the realm of the Daedra
You have no idea how hard it was for me to play Skyrim being an arachnophobic. I have long since gotten over the fear since I really wanted to play this but the spiders hampered my experience.
So I tried some horror mods in one of my playthrough of Skyrim VR, like adding zombies, denser and darker forests etc. Never again, it was one of the scariest things I've ever experienced.
I mod my Skyrim (unintentionally at first) to be a completely uninhabitable place outside of the holds and major cities. Towns and camps are helpless lmaooo awesome content!
Imagine if Skyrim had a destructible environment, how axe swings doing damage where you hit and after so many hits a beam can be cut in to and if so many happen the roof then collapses, etc.
I wish there was a mod that let's you actually stop this,like there's an arch-lich or a deathknight that controlls all of the enemies and if you defeat it,the invasions stop

I'm debating showing the aftermath. A day after I put up this video, I hopped into the game to see if it changed. It absolutely did, the entire world is completely overrun and EVERY NPC is dead.
This is their best work. And only good game the rest of their stuff is mid besides dishonored. And I’m a fallout fan but new vegas still best one. Fallout 4 was good but really felt like the same thing repeated.
@AdrianRose046 this game is only great because of all the talents and hours the modders put in to fix and enhance this game. This game was good but it was the modders that truly made this game legendary.
It's fun to watch Keanu going from literally running away and hiding from every monster, to actively using the monsters own tactic against them. He overcomes these obstacles and becomes truly powerful!
Skyrim is one my favorite game of all time and at the same time one of the only games that actually makes me feel scared. The atmosphere at the dungeons, the music, the little noises here and there that u never really know where they're coming from, the constant pressure of never really knowing when a draugr will break from their tombs and playing it from expert and above it really adds up to how scary this game can actually be sometimes, call me a crybaby but I would never consider to make it even scarier😭
the dark brotherhood sanctuary's would be the safest place tbh, the black door would only open to the members. And the throat of the world also, no one but the Dovahkiin or other dov can make it up there (EXCEPT FOR THE DAWGUARD, THEY HATE ME) im guessing that nowhere is safe lol, or apocryopha or however you spell it

Really? I assumed it just held some ancient artifacts like the dragon stone.
However there are a few draugr that can be in the open.
the combination is on the claw because the draugr are dumb as shit and can't figure it out
The claw door keeps people from the words of power the smaller puzzle doors are for the dragons emtrapment

I have no idea why but this video is just awesome. It has some irresistible influence on me since I come and watch it every day.
So I tried some horror mods in one of my playthrough of Skyrim VR, like adding zombies, denser and darker forests etc. Never again, it was one of the scariest things I've ever experienced.
I got scared when a draugr came around the Corner. It was my First time Skyrim and VR though to be fair

I mod my Skyrim (unintentionally at first) to be a completely uninhabitable place outside of the holds and major cities. Towns and camps are helpless lmaooo awesome content!

Imagine if Skyrim had a destructible environment, how axe swings doing damage where you hit and after so many hits a beam can be cut in to and if so many happen the roof then collapses, etc.
Skyrim together plus these mods would be absolute insane

I wish there was a mod that let's you actually stop this,like there's an arch-lich or a deathknight that controlls all of the enemies and if you defeat it,the invasions stop
Leveling combat skills should be a breeze in that play-through.

I'm debating showing the aftermath. A day after I put up this video, I hopped into the game to see if it changed. It absolutely did, the entire world is completely overrun and EVERY NPC is dead.
That funniest part of this video to me is that the start of the video is just scared Kev then around the middle to end is saving/confused Kev 😂🤣

This is their best work. And only good game the rest of their stuff is mid besides dishonored. And I’m a fallout fan but new vegas still best one. Fallout 4 was good but really felt like the same thing repeated.
@AdrianRose046 this game is only great because of all the talents and hours the modders put in to fix and enhance this game. This game was good but it was the modders that truly made this game legendary.

It's fun to watch Keanu going from literally running away and hiding from every monster, to actively using the monsters own tactic against them. He overcomes these obstacles and becomes truly powerful!

Skyrim is one my favorite game of all time and at the same time one of the only games that actually makes me feel scared. The atmosphere at the dungeons, the music, the little noises here and there that u never really know where they're coming from, the constant pressure of never really knowing when a draugr will break from their tombs and playing it from expert and above it really adds up to how scary this game can actually be sometimes, call me a crybaby but I would never consider to make it even scarier😭
Floating skulls 💀 reminds me of willow nes game, truly a terrifying enemy.

the dark brotherhood sanctuary's would be the safest place tbh, the black door would only open to the members. And the throat of the world also, no one but the Dovahkiin or other dov can make it up there (EXCEPT FOR THE DAWGUARD, THEY HATE ME) im guessing that nowhere is safe lol, or apocryopha or however you spell it

Man, I bought and beat Skyrim multiple times since its release and I killed the game for myself before I ever got to try out the mods. Kinda sad cuz the mods make this game so badass but I just get bored so quick when playing, been there done that 10 times type of feeling.
I just love how that you and that one guy just slowly look behind the both of you just to see a mage 😂
