I had a black 1950 4 door Fleetline with 235 ci for my first car. Loads of memories. I converted the original Powerglide to a stick shift. I lived in Pomona and was 12 years old when I assisted in starting the first drags at Pomona in 1953. I helped by manning the observer stand at the finish line using sound-powered phones to confirm who the winners were. My 1950 Fleetline won a trophy in E stock at Pomona Drag Strip in 1958. Car timed at 78 mph and 17 sec et. Great car, great memories, thanks.
The '50 was the car my Grandpa had. I was a little boy riding in it on Saturdays to go get Donuts. I still remember the scratchy velvet like interior seats. Thanks for sharing.
I agree this body style is one of the nicest designs GM did. Absolutely love this car and the color is beautiful. Having a straight six and no mufflers is cool and sounds great!
I appreciate showing the vehicles as you are doing the interview. So many show the owner talk about the vehicle and never show the car. Thanks for that
50 Fleetline and a 64 Impala. Brother is living the Good life. Just got a 48 fleetline and a 41 Mercury. My grandpa was a street rod guy and just passed at 91.
I had a 49 Pontiac Streamline, same body style. Wish I would have finished it. Aside from a 40 Ford coupe it's my favorite body style, beautiful ride!!!

In 1976, I purchased an All Stock MINT 2dr, 1949 Turtle back Chevy with a 235, it had the outside windshield sun visor… just like this, except mine was factory green..! For $125.00 .. I sold it to my brother-in-law for the same price….! Crazy ain’t it…😹 It makes me think about all the other neat sleds. I had that I basically sold for nothing. ….!!!
Besides mine this is the only other 235 I've seen with the split on the manifold in front of the center outlet. I'm using 2" straight pipes and it sounds perfect

Never even heard of these cars until this morning. That is cool as fuck! The other one I saw was from impalaflick chann and it's dark dark purple with black roses all over it and it looks black from a distance. These are cool, nice ride man. I love old muscle cars and old rides like this. The visor is one of those details that just makes it man. Love it. I'd rather cruise this than anything that has come out in the last 40 years at least. My goal is to buy several old muscle cars that look great and a couple old pick up trucks and drive nothing but those. Only old muscle cars and old trucks all loud, fast and beautiful. I want everyone who knows me to just always expect me to show up in like a 71 Roadrunner and a 69 Boss mustang and a 67 Chevelle and others. I only carry old revolvers these days too. Love everything old school. Got a pair of 5 shot 38 S&W snubs from 1971, and a Colt Cobra from the late 60's. Old music, old TV shows, old movies, old guns, old cars and everything else old school is by far the best no matter what it is. I have a really nice vinyl record collection going with a 1960's console record player with auto play on it. Shit is tight! Thanks for sharing and may the two of you never part!

They never had a 235 in a 1950. Also the visor is not the correct one. The steering wheel is also not correct for the car. You sure have some work to do and it’s not just for the car but for you too as far as homework.

I thought only the Belair automatics came with the 235? I've got the 216 with a 3 on the tree. It's a smooth little motor.

235 came out in 1954 the original engine in that car was a 216 but 235 has a pressure oil pump much better than the 216 beautiful car
