This episode ('The Marshal') was directed by Sam Peckinpah. It was the first meeting of Warren Oates and Sam Peckinpah, who went on wreak havoc and make excellent work together.

warren oates was born in 1928 and i check what year this episode and clearly he was 30 years old at the time
