The operating system is different but the CPU architecture is fundamentally the same as any 'modern' PC. There's already plenty of games that have cross compatibility with consoles and PCs.

The architecture may be built on the same platform, but the power limits and capabilities of console vs PC is drastically different. PC can easily handle miles of render distance whereas consoles only can handle a couple hundred hundred yards. With open-worlds and games with tons of npcs, consoles are extremely limited on what they handle because their hardware is, again, what PC hardware was about 12-15yrs ago. And especially with the increase of graphics from last gen, and now they're trying to run "4k" on current gen, consoles are already pushed to their limits. I mean, honestly, they're not even running 4k...just upscaled 1440p; basically 1660p, but only at 45fps with constant dips into 20-30fps. Doesn't matter their architecture when they're drastically neutered for power (and size limits on GPU) to not literally melt themselves. And even then, consoles have nowhere near the settings options PCs do. Consoles, even latest ones, have only a few locked performance options; while PC can fine-tune nearly everything. They're not the same.

I think if FiveM does come to Consoles that those of us who are on PC get the option to buy an E&E DLC for about 20 USD or Equivalent to the global currencies that GTA V is sold in since there are those of us who have powerful GPUs like me who has a 40s Series of GPU that could handle the update very well, but gets overshadowed by the rest of the player base on the platform of choice. I would be more than willing to pay for a chance to have the E&E experience on PC if it means just paying a little bit more money for the game to be gorgeous on the PC. Rockstar Games is like Niantic too afraid to make more money when it comes to them making great content. Then again Rockstar Games has overlooked the PC Market like it is a red-headed step child.

My main reason back in 2021 was to get mods like LSPDFR, but I did join FiveM as well soon after. Haven’t touched 5M in year or two and mods… well, haven’t gotten them to work so been a while on those as well. Months, minimum.
lspdfr is a whole seperate thing that is meant for singleplayer only it use rageplugin which i doubt the creator will even try to make it work on console, if you want to play as a cop in 5M you'll have to buy multiple scripts from different creator(s) or just use your imagination since that is free
The closer we're to GTA 6 the more I see all of these updates in GTA being just beta testing assets for GTA 6. All those nonsense cars that perfectly fit for NPCs, all those cop cars, I'm pretty sure they're just ripped/downgraded versions of GTA 6 assets that are testing and that this FiveM release it's just a testing for a modding store where there's likely to be some monetization, like Bethesda has in some games

If we could roll play as cops without oppressors Mk2’s or any other weaponized vehicles destroying everything, it would be fun. I think there should be a separate server that you can log into, in which all RPG’s, explosives, military equipment, weaponized vehicles and armor piercing rounds would be removed. Just pistol, tasers, shotguns and maybe an assault rifle. Also, no overly fast cars. So police would have an actual chance of chasing and capturing you. I do fear however, just like in online people find a way to get in god mode, I can see players finding a way to glitch in weapons or oppressors mk2’s, and completely ruining the experience.

the real thing is how are people suppose to get mods and ensure them, make thier own LAN server or public, Buy/Use Scripts. When I got into playing Fivem years ago, I spent ages grinding shitty jobs just to afford a branded car. Rockstar buying Fivem means no branded cars, I can't even hang out at McDonalds. The concept of Fivem is still better than GTAOnline but the freedom has gone.

As long as the base game has the scripting needed, it's allowed. Farming simulator 22 has several mods that have custom scripting, (Like Straw Harvest) and even 3rd party DLCs. (Like Pumps n' Hoses) They're allowed on console, because Giants has added the scripting needed to the base game.

My main reason back in 2021 was to get mods like LSPDFR, but I did join FiveM as well soon after. Haven’t touched 5M in year or two and mods… well, haven’t gotten them to work so been a while on those as well. Months, minimum.

lspdfr is a whole seperate thing that is meant for singleplayer only it use rageplugin which i doubt the creator will even try to make it work on console, if you want to play as a cop in 5M you'll have to buy multiple scripts from different creator(s) or just use your imagination since that is free

The closer we're to GTA 6 the more I see all of these updates in GTA being just beta testing assets for GTA 6. All those nonsense cars that perfectly fit for NPCs, all those cop cars, I'm pretty sure they're just ripped/downgraded versions of GTA 6 assets that are testing and that this FiveM release it's just a testing for a modding store where there's likely to be some monetization, like Bethesda has in some games

Rockstar fixes the hangar speed glitch withing 2 days of it being widely discovered, yet gangs of R/C sticky bombs users roam freely. Sh*t company that has no respect for it player base.

If we could roll play as cops without oppressors Mk2’s or any other weaponized vehicles destroying everything, it would be fun. I think there should be a separate server that you can log into, in which all RPG’s, explosives, military equipment, weaponized vehicles and armor piercing rounds would be removed. Just pistol, tasers, shotguns and maybe an assault rifle. Also, no overly fast cars. So police would have an actual chance of chasing and capturing you. I do fear however, just like in online people find a way to get in god mode, I can see players finding a way to glitch in weapons or oppressors mk2’s, and completely ruining the experience.
If this is true/does happen I bet it'll be a gta+ option. I can't see R* adding this to consoles for free. At least for the first few months of it.

I don't think people even know that majority of the stuff they see in fivem is paid for like cars(most of them), clothes(most of them), houses(damn near all of them), etc(all of them)

When I got into playing Fivem years ago, I spent ages grinding shitty jobs just to afford a branded car. Rockstar buying Fivem means no branded cars, I can't even hang out at McDonalds. The concept of Fivem is still better than GTAOnline but the freedom has gone.

FiveM coming to consoles? That's not going to work or it will just be a half assed version of FiveM on PC. Even as a PS5 owner, PS5 wasn't that much of an upgrade from the PS4. Besides some newer games, people stuck on the PS4 isn't missing much. I bet FiveM on consoles is just going be rp on GTA online & player's already have doing exactly that. Anyone want to play FiveM? Just get a PC, no need for this half assed version of FiveM on consoles.

As long as the base game has the scripting needed, it's allowed. Farming simulator 22 has several mods that have custom scripting, (Like Straw Harvest) and even 3rd party DLCs. (Like Pumps n' Hoses) They're allowed on console, because Giants has added the scripting needed to the base game.

If you're running custom scripts using a modded console, yes you should get banned. If Rockstar adds the scripts themselves and has them approved by Xbox, then no one should be banned.
If it’s crossplay for series/ps5 and PC. PC will still have a advantage why? Because m0dders on fiveM
advantage is modders... the real advantage is graphics like NVE or QUANTV
