I was just thinking about you guys… and there you are posting another video. Very thankful that both of you are sharing your personal struggles!!! Big love to you guys 🫶🏼
Wow, thank you guys for sharing this raw and authentic conversation with us. Thank you Sadie to mention/confess that being submitting is way harder than you though, it’s hit home! Thanks for the content
My wife and I have been struggling lately… if felt like you spied on us and made a video about our conflict. Thanks for true openness you two are awesome!
Thanks Alice!! We do our best to let The Lord speak through us, but I know we’re definitely not perfect! Thank you so much for considering supporting us! That means the world to us! God bless you too! 🙏🏻♥️
Thanks to you both for sharing your struggles and imperfections. And we also learning from it as well. We pray 🙏 may God gives us the wisdom understanding and strength to live a life pleasant for him and to one another as well. Love you both ❤
Loved this video and how honest and open you both were about real and relatable struggles!! Also thank you for the shoutout, so excited to be a part of the patreon fam and support you guys!! 😊🙌🏼
Seeing this gives me hope that my understanding that submission can and should be a two way thing is viable. Where both parties needs are taken into consideration. The man submitting by lovingly/caringly hearing his wife out in gentleness and peace, making a suitable environment/space for her to submit to the decisions he ultimately is in charge of as leader... Thanks for the hope you breathe into the sphere of relationship youtube through your raw, open honesty about your journey!
We’re so glad that you enjoy the more raw form of our content Elora! Submission and listening and speaking in love are definitely struggles at times, but I think we’re getting better at it! God bless you and thanks for watching! 🙏🏻♥️
The honesty in this video is remarkable. Love it! Effective communication is super important in any relationship. I'd highly recommend the book Attached by Amir Levine & Rachelle Heller (it offers a lot of insight into our personal emotional needs and those of our partners and how to express them effectively - most books on effective communication I've found are business books so its a gem).
Sadie thank you for being vulnerable ( you too Sam) but I wanted to shout out Sadie. I will be praying God gives you a community near you, and even when we feel the loneliest God is there holding our hand. Thank you guys
the book men are from mars, women are from venus, from john gray is exactly about this topic! I recommend listening to the audio book! It's so helpful and I wish everybody in a relationship would have the opportunity to learn about the dynamics between men and women. Thank you for sharing 🙏
I couldn’t agree more! That’s one of my favorite relationship books! It perfectly describes the differences between women & men. I highly recommend that one as well!
Im very direct too. Very blunt. My ex was more sensitive and not as confident as me. I'm a woman. I just wanted him to be more secure. He couldn't take what he perceived as criticism.
I’m so sorry beautiful young couple in the Lord! I did not have the time to leave a iMessage or give, support your channel this month. But God willing I will soon. Every marriage starts off tough, but please hand in there for each other, I promise it will be so rewarding when you do. I’d was too young when I married at 18. So many mistakes, and I as well Sadie, did not have anyone to talk to. Stay here on your channel you will have so much people here for both of your love you in Christ. 😘♥️
I envy and am jealous that both of you met each other while in the beginning of your 20s, because it's a cruel sad reminder, not everyone gets to date, not everyone gets to be in love when you are very young, in teenage years or beginning of 20s. I say that because I feel I'm forever permanently depressed and angry, bitter, resentful, that I didn't have a long-term relationship until later than normal, I didn't have one until the beginning of my 30s. It's a reminder of my lifelong hatred of guys, men, always having been expected to make the first move and court women, do the pursuing, be the initiators, etc. For a long time I've heard that 25 is the magic age number and which people start to panic or feel insecure the most if they are still single. Still single as in they have never dated or never been in a relationship before or just never something long-term. If people don't have their first relationship or long-term relationship in their teenage years, then it's at least expected to happen by the beginning of your 20s.
I believe it was my boyfriend's pride that really prevented our marriage. It was just a miscommunication, I got upset and he couldn't deal. He felt inadequate. I really adored this man. We were in love. Now we are broken up. Ohh...he felt disrespected and I felt unloved . I reached out to talk but he wont reply. Heartwrenching.
satan is real. appreciate every single thing! life is short. What I realized after many struggles is these times you are living in are "the Good ole' days" realize it before it's gone!

Here is an idea. Sam, get Sadie in the car, and drive her back home for a visit. Even if it is for just a couple of days. I guarantee it will help.

One thing to keep in mind is You are on The Same Team. Don't try to make the other one wrong.

I highly recommend reading “Non Violent Communication” by Marshal Rosenberg

What about church community or bibke fellowship? I'd go nuts I didn't have fellowship.
Advice from cult members is never good. 🫶🏽
