I was 7yo at that time, my dad was watching the game on tv when the commentator announced a teenager stepping on the court, saying - pay attention of this kid, he's special. And I got interested, and remembered the name. From that day I started becoming a fan of Roma and Totti of course, and they brought me so much happiness. Greetings from Serbia.
2000-2003 Roma had a competitive team with great leaders Totti,Batistuta,Emerson, tomassi,Samuel, I feel bad for Totti such a prolific player deserved more titles
he couldve left, but didnt, cause he was so loyal. kind of unfortunate. pretty sure real wanted him. but then again, his loyalty is commendable. but who knows what couldve been. if he wouldve joined real and won a champions league he´d be perceived differently. still a legend.
I love, live, and breathe Roma my whole life. Even though i'm not from Rome...not even from Italy. Never even been to Rome. But maybe... just because of that, it' super emotional for me... insanely almost. Several times during this video i've had to pause coz i started crying.... it was too emotional. Man.... Roma... i know every fan can say that for his club but... in Roma's case it's true... ROMA IS MORE THAN JUST A CLUB. It's a tragic love story... it's a fanatical devotion... and sometimes... most beautifull dream.. To be frank.. i don't know why i choose Roma.. i know it was somewhere around 1998... when i was a kid in a post war Croatia.... and today.. that love is even stronger... but not nearly as strong as it will be tommorow. Excellent job Mr. 👏👏👏👏
You have good chances for some joy this year after the european cup last year. I have faith in Mourinho and would love to see Roma do good. PS: Arsenal fan here
Man same thing, tho I started loving them since I was 7, in '92. Till this day I barely met anyone who likes Roma, people always choose Milan, Juve, Liverpool, Real...Big clubs. But Roma's something else, always an underdog, without a real budget, but with great tradition and a strong fanbase, hardly win trophies but often upset strong teams like Juve, Barca...This scudeto season I remember particularly well, was lucky enough to watch all the games. Totti brought me so much joy and happiness, unfortunately, they never found the way to keep Cassano, Cafu and other great players. Greetings from Serbia to you, hopefully, we'll see Roma shine again.
@@harderway8568yessss!!!! Don’t get me wrong love me some Manchester United… but like I tell everyone they are my second love. Roma is my club and my heart. Got into the sport late… but I was drawn to Roma over all the other clubs… maybe because Ancient Rome is my favorite history subjects and all the years of Latin all thru high school. But regardless; it’s the best club I could have chosen. It represents everything about me and what I love above the beautiful game of football - Romance, tragedy, and the good fight. I’ll be a Roma fan til the day I die for sure!!! Hopefully i can actually visit Rome one day and see them play at Olympico (or their new stadium)…
My favourite documentary out of all the great stuff you've uploaded. Such a captivating and moving story and the way you documented it made it amazing.
i really don't get the reason why your videos don't have at least 100k views. Maybe there's something wrong in RUclips suggestiion system. By the way, keep up with new material. Your videos are super interesting. In the long run, you will get what you deserve.
Absolutely brilliant watch😃followed Roma since watching them play Leeds in 98-99 here in UK. That scudetto season was special. Loved watching football italia on a Sunday when Roma was on with Batigol and Totti tearing it up 👍🏻🇮🇹
Wow 😳 World class documentation(s)! At first I've thought this must be a documentary from a professional team from Al-Jazeera or so. Great work 😊!! Edit: No Totti, No Party!
Your videos deserve more recognition and views. You are a brilliant narrator. I loved your documentary regarding Bayern München and their history. Under Mourinho, Roma have to challenge for the Scudetto.
Daje Roma🧡💛❤........I don't know how many times I've watched this, like 350 times. Thank you for a great and emotional video. I fell in love with the team once I saw Radja Nainggolan and De Rossi play. They play with the spirit of Rome, every Roma player does this. Daje Giallarossi 💛🧡❤
One of my friends lived in Rome in 2001 (dad worked for the US state department and was based there), they got an official warning a week before the game to be prepared for Soccer riots if Roma won. Next level passion
So glad i found this channel. Binging through all your videos through footballs golden age really has made my night. Keep doing what you're doing and you will be a huge account very soon!!
You've got to do an AC Milan one. Sacchi, Capello, destroying the dream team...all the way to Ancelotti's sides with Pirlo, Kaka and Inzaghi. With the way you shape the narratives, that would be tasty. Thanks for the flammable content.🔥
Fahad , I’ve been watching your documentaries nonstop the last three days. They are absolutely fantastic especially the Italian ones. What a time to be alive.
Great video, can you do a similar one for Lazio as well? Their 90s team with the attacking trio of Signori-Casiraghi-Boksic was so entertaining and underrated, and for some reason no one seems to be talking about them nowadays
As a Roma fan who lived those era, your resume was extremely accurate from start to finish you also mentioned things only Roma fans knows about it. Well done!! Forza Roma!!!
What a fantastic video this channel is soooo goood thank you really much for this work words can’t describe how great this channel is wow fantastic work
I’ve watched all the documentaries on this channel. They are without doubt of the highest quality. The amount of information put forward and the highlights, are definitely up there with the pros like sky etc.
This is the second video I've watched (first was Juve) and I love the quality, images, videos. Takes me right back to when I lived and breathed everything Serie A. I'll keep watching any Serie A related content you make. Would be cool to have "eras" of Serie A as well or even the story of each season in a video. Either way, you have a new fan here.
Mate you ended the documentary at the wrong moment.. that stadium shot from the helicopter with the crowd on the pitch looked INSANE!!! No other complaint though, amazing is always!!!
God bless the day I met Balon.... I am always looking forward to your documentaries.. narration is top top notch. Can I get a documentary on Samuel Eto'o and Ruud Van Nistelrooy
The quality of these videos is very high, and professional. I thought they were official productions from some kind of major sports media company like Sky Sports. The video production is seamless and the content thoroughly well researched and presented.I have no doubt of the quality of the videos stays this high this channel will get the viewers it deserves very quickly. I'd love to see some videos on fallen giants of the English game (like Man City not too long ago being in the third tier of English football, the same scenario with Leeds, Sunderland, Newcastle, Villa, Sheffield Wednesday, Forest. So many huge clubs have fallen, some former European champions, and declined and not yet have all recovered, they are still toiling.
Awesome video creation! - really enjoyed the episode. My story is, a big Roma fan since 2003/4, been painfully watching them and sometimes expecting too much from them, some very high moments and a lot of low moments but over the years there has been some bad luck, poor refereeing decisions and of course like most modern Roma teams there is that mental breakdown and poor performances. I've seen them runners up way too many times!!
I remember that season well, as a Juve fan I was frustrated at Ancelotti and van der Sar for bottling our scudetto chances. It was 3 consecutive trophyless seasons at the time and it was beginning to become unbearable. With hindsight I'm glad Roma won it, deservingly too. Best attack in the league, a phenomenally well drilled team with standout performers like Candela, Cafu, Totti, Emerson, Montella and of course Batigol. I am glad I got to witness that, it's certainly more exciting than seeing Juventus win 9 years in a row or Inter 5 in a row. It's good that Roma fans get something to celebrate too.
