More then likely yes considering he said that the person who stood out the most was the villain. So I think it’s safe to assume based on context clues Vil was the villain.
I guess Rook’s was so captivated on everything within the play he first watch as a child, he wanted to know more about everything about it, to a point he went as far as to secretly stalk or hunt anything that feeds his curiosity and intrigue on beautiful related things, even though it probably made others think he is a creep. At the same runs, I kinda understand Rook wanting to dig deep, given that when one is too engross in something you just found, like a vocaloid song for example, you wanna dig it more n learn more about the story behind it (like others purchasing evilious novels connected to the songs). I too tend to dig in every single vocaloid song I could find XD

Even though Rook had already told us that Neige was the one who made him believe in beauty I was still surprised whan he mentioned Neige here... I thought he was going to say that Vil was the villain... so then if Rook loved the way that Neige played but he loved the hell out of villains... how did he feel about Vil being the villain in every show and the fact he hated being the villain...
Well if only he could have said that to Vil then EP 5 wouldnt happen.

I suspect the one that played the small boy in King's Road that Rook watch when he was a boy is Neige, maybe because of that he idolize Neige so much. Not only because his adorable apperance but because the play he played moved Rook's heart.
Yay! The Sword in the Stone is officially canon to Twisted Wonderland! That's one of my favorite Disney movies ever!

I wonder if there are times Vil was irked whenever Rook mentions Neige sometimes.
Considering Vil didn't know that Rook was a fan of Neige, I don't think Rook ever talked about him before chapter 5. Even in this story, he didn't want to tell Malleus and Idia that the actor whose performance led him to shed tears was Neige which makes me think he doesn't talk about him with other people besides the fan club. Maybe that changed after chapter 5 though since Vil was able to acknowledge Neige's efforts in chapter 6. I feel like since Vil is able to talk about Neige in a positive manner, he won't be as irked as he was in the past when anyone talked about Neige.

@@lindanguyen6972 The fact the reason for his envy is because Vil thinks Neige is naturally talented without knowing his backstory is kinda, lackluster?
But then again, the fact Vil was being pushed aside in favor of Neige being a better fitting protagonist than Vil, is quite too much. Vil deserves a change to shine as well.
The source of Vil's envy is his Pride. Somewhat that pride leds him to be blind about Neige.
Anyone else was confused by what Rook was doing? Although I’m glad we learned a bit more about him, poor idia though. I didn’t know he was really into history and musicals. He seems really into performance arts. Oh did anyone recognize what movie he was referring to?
The kings Road are probably referencing to " The sword in the stone " But since I didn't watch it, it's my guesses based on few similarities of plot

The more Idia talks about "Pumpkin Hollow", the more I think it's a reference to the movie "Sleepy Hollow" by Tim Burton... but since it's not a Disney movie, I'm probably wrong ^^'
EDIT: Holy sh-... well, I might be right after all, but not for the reasons I thought x'D Disney actually DID an adaptation of the novel "The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow" from Washington Irving in 1942 ^^ So yeah, I might be right about the story... but not the adaptation x'D

There's a lot we don't know about Rook and his past so it is possible he behaved differently when he was a kid. He did say that this musical changed his life so the way he is now probably came about from watching the musical.
