A7X can't be compared to anyone, nor can they be subjected to a single genre. They're just that good and their music never gets old because it always evolves.
I swear every time I heard Synyster's solo on this, my breath gets caught in my throat and my heart stops. LOVE IT AND HIM! ♥♥♥

Jimmy was, in my opinion, the best drummer in the world. Portnoy may have taken his place as drummer of A7X, but The Rev lives on in every Avenged Sevenfold fan in the world. No one can replace him. RIP Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan!!!!

i just love this song. it makes me wanna dance. whoever thought a song about dead people could be so upbeat and lighthearted. And for Avenged, often a depressing band, this is such an uppity, happy song. i guess by putting the dead in a party setting is a really creative and interesting way of making a song grim, but also happy. a7x are geniuses!

A7X was at a friends wedding the day before The Rev died, it was in an interview with Zacky and Syn. The Rev had been drinking at the wedding and when he took the pills later on that night, they didn't mix well with the alcohol and he died

what i like about A7X over other metal bands is that they have a serious amount of musical knowledge where alot of other metal bands do not
Those who are saying A7X had no religion need to think about what youre listening to and stop just blindly liking a song cause its catcyh. what about "I wanna meet my maker in peace" "This place in Hell's where I belong?" "I never put my faith in up above but now I'm hoping someones there." less than a week ago i saw them in concert and Shadows mentioned looking forward to the day when they could all be together in afterlife & referred to Rev as "up there"

@JWPMAN1 he decided to finish the song Fiction aka Death 3 days before his death, and he recorded those voice clips on purpose so matt could put them in the song after he died. It's no coincidence that they fit perfectly. He had it all planned. He knew he was going to go. In another interview Matt also says that rev sang the melody with his own words, without even having written the words down. which means the words came from the heart. now what does that tell you?
This needs to be Dead Frontier's theme music..

I've been a fan of A7X since 2003 when they released Waking the Fallen but I seriously think they have progressed alot and every album sounds so much different and this album can proove it but I can say that Nightmare is there best album out and its the most emotional and heart felt but Diamonds in the Rough was a great album too haha A7X foREVer RIP Jimmy the Rev Sullivan

Look guys everyone has their own taste in music... for me- A7x is the best band ever cause they're simply my favourite band... i love practically every song they ever wrote and played... but i know that they're not the greatest band ever...maybe they will be in a couple of years but now they're not... like metallica they weren't considered one of the greatest bands in the first 10 years they played....but now they are...i think that A7x is good enough just give it some time...

You might want to listen to Demons. There's a part around the 5:10 or so where he says Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Just not so much in the fashion he does on here. But it's very similiar.

I dont think the rev was one of the best drummers but I will miss his way of writing music and his awsome voice, I really look forward to their next album that they are gonna record with mike portnoy from Dream Theater (who is one of the best drummer of all time)

Lets get something a little less heard in the setlist. I love all of their work but after seeing them live a few times they have played pretty mutch the same show for 2 years now. all nightmare, lets get some waking the fallen in there so if you missed them when they were younger you can still experience it. or some diamonds in the rough.
