Guys, almost every single song for many years now has been auto-tuned at least to a small extent. It just depends how strongly it's been auto-tuned. Obviously they purposefully used it as an effect on this track because M. Shadows can easily hit these notes and you can use auto-tune more subtly than that as a corrective tool.
It's been slandered as a general practice in music production for decades, it is a mainstream opinion to consider the use of it a cheap and lazy effect to cover poor vocal technique, rather than as a stylistic choice

A7X is amazing - I love the way they experiment with different sounds and the amount of autotune they use here is great. They didn't overdo it at all. This is one of my favorite songs from this album. And as Matt and Zacky said Syn did an amazing job with the beginning dueling guitars and the ending too!! These guys are awesome song writers. And Matt has a wonderful voice!!
