The Run to Banff, Episode 1: Glacier National Park and then Canada!

- In June of 2024 my group of friends and I took our Harley-Davidson baggers north of the border, and into Canada to experience the Canadian Rockies for the first time. We rode for 6 days through seven national parks on both sides of the border. It was an incredible trip and I hope you enjoy it!
EPISODE ONE:
We kicked off the ride from Great Falls, Montana and headed north to Glacier National Park and Going-to-the-Sun Road, one of if not the most amazing ride in the country. But it was closed...partially. Late snow kept the pass closed but we rode as much of it as we could on two 2024 Road Glide's, a Road Glide ST, Street Glide Special and Electra Glide Standard. It was an amazing start to the trip!

This is my favorite ! Best motorcycle tour channel. I lived in the US from 2017 to 2018 and have been on the same route you travel on, but it's a shame that I went by car, not motorcycle. I'm currently on a Harley-Davidson (Street Glide) in Korea. If I ever go to America again someday, I really want to travel by Harley-Davidson motorcycle on the route you go to. I always pray that you ride safe and stay healthy. Thank you for the such a beautiful contents.

Glacier is amazing, you’ve got to go. But Canada definitely raised the bar!
Love this video, brother! Love that Great Falls KOA; I need to start staying in those. How did you land that particular cabin? Love that deck. Are most these KOAs with cabins? I remember when you took off and I know I heard GTTS road was open, you guys must have just missed the opening; that stinks. I love that east entrance and Many Glacier Hotel is where we video this huge Grizzly right alongside the road wondering around about a 1/4 mile from the Lodge.
@@DeBa1226 KOA’s are awesome, and I think all the cabins at Great Falls has those decks. GTTS was very close to being opened but then got a huge dump of snow before we got there. Oh well.

@@DeBa1226 I’m currently running a Saddleman. It’s comfortably, the only issue is that it sits a little higher than stock and I wanted it to be lower.
@@FullTankAdventures Well said. I would prefer lower as well good to know. Have you looked at Corbin or CMC?

Just took another family vacation to Glacier NP a few weeks ago, our fourth trip there. I'm stunned by the beauty each time... as if it were the 1st time seeing it. What a place?! Still haven't experienced it on the Harley yet, but on the bucket list.
@@jaredmcnutt731 It’s an amazing ride. One of the best in the country! Unfortunately lots of snow in May kept us from doing the whole thing, but even the 14 miles we did do were spectacular.

Wonderful video and Glacier is on list for Summer 2025 so looking forward for it and just realize hopefully and wish you were ab’e to do Icefield Highway and Jasper before the huge wildfires and destroy half of the town!🤞👍

I don’t think they are doing tours of HQ at the moment, but I assume they will at Homecoming again next year in some fashion. If you haven’t been to the museum, that is a must stop!

Where did you get the boxes some of you used for storage on the luggage rack? I see them more and more.

@FullTankAdventures we were up there 1st of July 2022. Had pickup and camper. Was the latest year they got going to the sun road open. We missed it never been more disappointed lol. But have good reason to go back.
@@victoryrider The snow is weird up there. It was closed after 14 miles but there was ZERO snow on that 14 miles. And even the mountain tops had minimal snow. We decided it was closed for Sasquatch mating season 🤣🤣
Heated grips were clutch on this trip! I wish Going to the sun road would have been open that is an amazing place to be in the world. Great work on the video looking forward to the rest of them!
How could it yake a month to get around the falls? Just take the road.
I believe I was referencing Lewis and Clark, who were at the falls before there were roads. 🤷🏻♂️
