Those of you who are correcting me on the 'largest feathered dinosaurs' line, thank you. That is completely my mistake. I should have said largest feathered carnivore. Sorry about that folks. There are larger dinosaurs who are thought to have feathers.

The rise of yutyrannus popularity brings a smile to my face. It’s my favorite dinosaur, especially since it might have been a pack hunter I’ve always imagined them as the orcas of Tyrant family.
The mad man going into the boss arena with a double barrel 10 tons of health potions, cloth armor, and a army of dodos bred through many months selective breeding and grinding
It'd be more accurate to say it's the largest dinosaur we've found that has been preserved with traces of feathers. Deinocheirus is often reconstructed with feathers due to philogenetic bracketing with other ornithomimusaurs, which do have direct evidence of feathers, whether it actually had them or not is not something we have the same direct evidence for.
You're absolutely right, as is the orangethingy. While Deinocheirus isn't confirmed to have a dense coat of feathers, it is HIGHLY likely. I should have said largest carnivorous dinosaur or largest confirmed feathered dinosaur.
You should do gastornis next if you haven’t already. The unique thing about gastornis was that it was likely primarily a frugivore, however it had an extremely blunt beak, and considering they lived in dense forests where they dwarfed almost everything around them, I don’t wanna run into one despite them being the size of a man.
One of my favorite dinosaurs, top 5 probably, though my all time favorite is Dilophosaurus, speaking of, could you possibly do a video on Dilophosaurus please? Not enough people know that it’s not the tiny spitting dude from the movies
Correlation vs. causation. Some scientists think that flight is an adaptation of feathers over time. I say the opposite is true. Unless born in the same exact environment with the same behavior and conditions, living things just naturally evolve. Just in my 30 year life alone, several bird species have adapted to civilization by becoming nocturnal. As a kid I never heard birds singing at night.
It’s one of my favorite theropod dinosaurs, and one of the coolest feathered dinosaurs. Also I though Deinocheirus and Therizinosaurus were the largest feathered dinosaurs?
I feel so proud of myself when I guess the creature based on the title and image before clicking. I probably didn't make enough use of these guys in ark.
Quick tips for taming yutys in ark: #1(this is the first and last method):fucking run… or if you have a mount fly away the yuty roar can literally put fear in your mount ^.^ hope this helps for ark players
I don't understand why people would think they wouldn't need feathers at a certain size. Most dinosaurs, from what we know, weren't fully warm blooded. Wooly Mammoths had a lot of fluff, why wouldn't a dino too?
Given enough time, resources, and the right environmental pressures, yes. It has happened before in the fossil record. Therizinosaurus, for example, is a theropod. Theropods are traditionally carnivorous dinosaurs, but with the right setting, they can change. Hippos are another good example. Their ancestors are traditionally thought to be large omnivorous/predatory animals. Hippos themselves are herbivores.
My favorite dinosaur because he is a smaller and fluffy version of the t-rex. Which means you can depict him either as a cute fuzzy dinosaur or as a giant bird of prey hunting in pack like massive Rex-raptors. The perfect Jurassic park combo.
It looks badass in the Jurassic World game with the blue color scheme. And, Yutyrannus was actually 7 tons, not 2 tons, and they were 35 feet long, not 30.
The scary music makes it more scary but you wearing a dinosaur mask in the bottom left-corner or right or top left or right side makes it way way less scary. It's also funny ngl
Bro imagine how good they must taste deepfried 😋 The weight is nothing when you have skill, and high caliber equipment. Oh or you could put a saddle on one and use it for hunting wild boar.
