- After the passing of her mother and later a friend a few years ago, Ann Mwangangi realized funeral service was the right path for her because as a mortician, she speaks on how she takes in a grieving loved ones and help to lift some of the weight off of their shoulders.

I remember one uncle stood up and in the crowd, he promised to help me through school,since had just become an orphan. I finished primary school, stayed home for quite sometime waiting to join high school,this uncle knew this and pretended not to be aware but ,Mungu ni nani, When HE SAYS HIS A FATHER TO THE FATHERLESS AND MOTHER TO THE MOTHERLESS, he doesn't joke

Never forgotten the harassment I went through at KNH morgue as a youth 25 years ago. He hid my cousin's body, made us walk all over bodies until we paid him and the body appeared. I swore I would never do that to a grieving person though am not a mortician. God bless you Ann.

In the 70s and 80s,the mortician at the Nakuru mortuary was drunk all the time 😒He always hid the bodies within the trays so that he was paid to search for grieving people who were scared to do so😏Those were the expectations then😔He was feared and nobody wanted to be close to him😨Thank God that nowadays there are trained morticians who respect families and the departed🙏May God give Ann peace ,courage and love to continue doing this noble work ❤️
