Whoa.
You remind me alot of Davie504
Playing with bugs is more fun than playing sting's solo catalog, and isn't pretentious at all.
These look easy but they are deceptively challenging.
Rude
“ Here are 4 songs for intermediate guitar players.”
*plays Snow*
Yeah, that's pushin it
Comfortably numb as well, damn if that ain't a hard solo
Thunderstruck riff is just tipping toes in shredding territory, though it's not as difficult as one might think
Shape of you is fair game, just a few fancy chords with fingerstyle
@@yobrethrenyeah exactly. The hardest part about the Comfortably Numb solo is nailing the tone and the emotion of Gilmours playing. He has a very unique style.
i think he is saying that mechanically those songs are intermediate. there are classic pieces that are 8000x harder than any rock song even with fast tapping, bending and arpeggios. there is also bossa nova songs with 70 insane chords in just one songs with different rhythms for the right hand.
Its easy
@@catsexual3412 That sounds hilariously exhausting.
Anyone who thinks Thunderstruck is harder than Snow obviously never tried to play Snow.
Idk if I just have a weird sense of what hard or not but I never had any difficulty learning or playing that song
He even played an easier version
He also played Thunderstruck the wrong way
man I tried playing snow its quite easy
to being a good guitarist and hardly makes a living. Typical narcissist wants everyone to think he’s always been great. And with all honesty his playing is nothing special whatsoever. He can hit the right notes, but plays them shitty and sloppy and without any soul
Well, looks like I'm a beginner now
I've been a begginer for about 10 years now
😂😂😂same here
@@philippebaillargeon5204 That hits kinda diffrent 😭🤧
Do I have to pull my socks up to my knees to play these riffs?
"if you're intermediate, you can play this!"
*plays Through the fire and flames*
Plays Arpeggios From Hell
*_plays playing god_*
That’s actually a really easy song.
@@PowerfulBaconlol.Then record yourself playing it
“Intermediate guitarists, listen up-“
*plays AC/DC*
I mean if you put enough practice to it you can play thunderstruck as an intermediate player. Hell I still call myself a beginner but I can sorta play it
@@Itzz_Ace Every beginner is able to learn Thunderstruck.
Takes some time in the beginning, but it's really not too hard.
An Intermediate player should be able to play thunderstruck, without any problems.
its literally just pull offs i learned it in a month of learning guitar
@@who3033 In the acc recorded song you can hear the individual notes being picked individually so it's not just pull-offs
@@Itzz_Ace it’s quite obvious that he’s pulling off the strings dude. What makes you think he’s picking every note?
Homie just called me intermediate....I'm honored
He didn’t. He said if you’re intermediate you should be able to play the songs. He didn’t say that if you could play them then you’re intermediate.

@@lllULTIMATEMASTERlll 🤓🤓🤓
Bro Comfortbly Numb solo is like one of the hardest solo's ever. Hitting the notes aint that hard. But playing it and deliver it as it should. Thats some God tier shit man.
I got a fair few floyd songs down. Im not the best at solos hard time with that one
Yeah, it's hardest one here
Indeed! Dude has so much inflection and emotion! Really makes every song and solo sing! Love it! 😁👌🏻 one of my favorite pink floyd songs! Another favorite is a song called marooned on the division bell album! No lyrics at all, just all sweet passionate, emotional, and beautiful guitar through the whole thing! Piano too! Such a masterpiece! 😁👍🏻
Memorizing the whole solo is harder than playing it 😂
I was gonna say. Notes are easy. The feeling and touch are a next level.
Not bro playong Shape of My Heart incorrectly 💀
Plays thunderstruck wrong like a boss
Yeah, pulling off the open B note instead of alternate picking it is tecnically cheating. It is a good song/exercise for someone whos struggling with hand sync when alt picking
Seeing as angus young plays it with hammer ons and pull offs live i wouldnt call it wrong, just not how he does it in the studio version
@@luznis139 still for a guy to offer guitar courses and says you should be able to play these songs it’s a bit funny to play it the easy way
@@luznis139I thought he played it live with tapping so he could smoke while he's playing, but smoking was prohibited in the studio
@@luznis139 I’ve seen AC/DC live plenty of times, and watched pretty much every live recording of Thunderstruck, and never once seen (or heard) him tap it! The only version where you can see him tapping is the music video, but even then, you can clearly hear that the recording is all picked
Now play Can’t Stop, but the RIGHT WAY.
still easy as fuck
Its muting time
cant stop is not that hard just mute with one finger behind the notes like youre playing a barre chord and use the other fingers for melody - easy asf that way
Mute with index only and play all low notes with it too, and then use your middle and pinky for the high notes, the song becomes way easier, Frusciante’s way just provides extra difficulty with no real reward
Brandemonium
That AC/DC one is actually super simple, just fast. Probably the easiest of all the ones he just played tbh
If you want to play it like on the record, it is not simple. because he uses a pick instead of hammer on/pull offs
I can play shape of my heart!

Yeah I like emo and indie more
Now try playing the snow riff for 3 minutes straight without messing up
really not the hardest riff. a lot of metal would put it to shame
@@bruh.j4mes yes the riff itself is easy but good once you learn it, but playing it perfectly, without mistake, for over 3 minutes long in the song, is what makes it difficult
@@man_in_black7665 yea that's why it's put in intermediate and not beginner
this guys pretty good at guitar, doubt he would have a problem
Lil late on this but recently got into guitar again but i can do snow fine but only slow not fast and its been like 2 weeks lol 😅 and i usually learn fast
“you can play these songs as an intermediate guitar player”
*casually puts Snow*
And i was so happy that i could finally play 7nation army-
Nah bro what is Snow doing here this is advanced
fax
No. It's crap. All the RHCP songs are 🐩💩
thats the joke
Fax it requires great pickslanting technique and a lot of stamina to play it
Same with Comfortably Numb. I guess they're 'easy' to learn the notes but to do it effectively with good technique is advanced as.
Snow hey oh it's kinda in between in intermediate and advanced for me.. it's easy to see but it's hard to play properly.
It's actually a pretty difficult song if you want to play it cleanly. I would definitely put it in the advanced category just for the technique and stamina it requires.
@@Elemy69 yeah I can play it pretty decently for about a minute and then my hand dies the quality drops and I give up and play something else
Agree bro. Been playing for 16 years and am currently working on snow. It’s taken me weeks to get it up to .75x speed. My biggest struggle was forcing myself to alternate pick it rather than economy pick it
My beginner ass trying things out of its league and failing miserably: :D
Agree. Snow is the one I would place like half a tier up
As an air guitar player, am honored.
Malcom young’s rhythm parts are the true challenge of thunderstruck..
okay but can we talk about how your socks almost reach your knees
Whats wrong with that?
💀💀💀
The higher the socks the downer the foo
Where else are you gonna store all your picks

My man dodged the ending of shape of my heart riff, cause those chord shapes are pretty tough for intermediates
My man that is the most fricked up version of thunderstruck I’ve ever heard in my life
The guy who wrote "Shape of my heart" doesn't even play it as it's recorded live because it's too difficult.
Lmao really
@@circumcizednun1814 Paul Davids did a whole video on it.
"that guy" is Dominic Miller and he can play it like the original. He just plays a different inversion of one of the chords to make it slightly more comfortable to play. Its not harder or easier, just less of a stretch for a single chord
If I can play it normally then Dominic Miller certainly could
bro thats not even true
When bro stops playing shape of my heart right before the crazy difficult chord
He played the 5th chord wrong
And he still got it wrong. The C# goes up half a step to a D the second time.
Him:plays snow.
Me:guess I’ll quit
We get bullied by a guy who pulls his socks up to his knees. Love him
Sure if u play comfortably numb without any vibrato on bends and do half step bends on frets above instead of step and a half it is easy but it is a pretty hard solo to play well even for master guitarists
Imo, the full solo is the most difficult compared to the others, Thunderstruck is easy, Snow not bad, but Gilmour, matching his expressive playing is challenging.
@@sirTANKhunterindeed! Dude has so much inflection and emotion! Really makes every song and solo sing! Love it! 😁👌🏻
to being a good guitarist and hardly makes a living. Typical narcissist wants everyone to think he’s always been great. And with all honesty his playing is nothing special whatsoever. He can hit the right notes, but plays them shitty and sloppy and without any soul
the shape of my heart is a Bm chord.
He’s one of those scary music teachers...lol
i would generally consider myself as a beginner player however i can play snow and thunderstruck so its really great to know that i'm getting there
Imagine playing it on an acoustic, which is the only guitar i have
You played thunderstruck wrong lol 😂
And snow is actually quite hard! Because you have to play that riff for a long duration so it’s a workout. The trill is very energetic too.
I thought "twinkle twinkle little star" was intermediate... Darn! That means I'm still a beginner!
I can’t play any of those riffs but I’ll will never quit!
Snow is (quite) easy when you play riff a few times, but when it comes to playing the whole song it's so difficult.
Tho i consider myself a beginner, we should all play the songs we like. Dont assume that we all have the same music taste.

Pull off/hammer on thunderstruck or picking thunderstruck?
Ur supposed to pick it
@@serenedarkness6257 thats how he plays it in the recording but live he does pull offs/ hammer ons

How about no thunderstruck at all
I'm going to have to call you out on thunderstruck. You pussied out. It's supposed to be all picked. It's deceptively trickier that way. Not for me, an intergalactic shred deity, of course, but for most people.
You're joking right?
Aw bless your fragile little ego
I will never quit. I will learn. I will forge. With blood on my fingers I will rage.
Snow for the whatever amount of minutes it is in the song is crazy hard
I've been playing guitar for like 15 years and I don't know how to play any song off the top of my head. I have had to learn songs for gigs but I just forget them instantly.
Then you don’t love what you are playing lol
Me too!!!
I am not even happy because I easily learned those song so I am above intermediate. But because i finally found a good version of “shape of my heart”
Wow that was encouraging.😂
i needed more songs to learn, thanks
I still consider myself an intermediate guitarist even tho I lost a fingertip. I had to acknowledge come chord shapes I can no longer do but I adjusted and now use my pinky way more than I ever did before. It also helped switching to alternative open tunings and learning Midwest emo riffs
I may be late but for you I can only say one thing: Tony Iommy Style😎😎😎
I’ve been playing guitar professionally for 20 years and I can’t play them , some of the greatest music I have heard is people who are not great players or singers, but they’ve got good feeling , and they just love the song they are singing ☘️
What do you play? How much are you earning?
I'm thinking of becoming a pro, but mom is against it and says that I end up in a noname bar playing same popsongs and making no money
You need the experience of doing it for awhile, and then you will realise if it is for you or not. Best of luck☘️❤️☘️
I stopped playing professionally I prefer working at other things but I do miss it sometimes. Not ever gig you do is good.
how are some people not recognizing the satire
Hurray!
The stuff you play at 14 when you haven't had guitar lessons yet.
True lol as a self taught comfortably numb and shape of my heart were literally the first two songs I tried to learn 😂.
Btw I'm trash if you are wondering
john frusciante played it by plucking every. single. note.
Absolutely love comfortably numb! Beautiful song! A classic! So many great powerful and emotional solos and tunes! Good stuff! 😁👌🏻

Well I guess I gotta quit now 😭
so...am I supposed to be able to play them correctly? or just good enough like in this video?

mfs like this are what's wrong with the music industry. when intermediate "musicians" get a platform and tell others they're not good enough 🤣 yet they can't even get a gig irl
@@md167 this guy's whole persona is "if you can't do this you're shit" I mean there are other guitarists who sell courses too like Scott but he's way ahead of this guy in terms of both comedy and skills
Great question cause Gilmour stuff is very easy to get good enough but very hard to get to sound like the record.
If you want to play like Angus pick every note no pulloffs
These are new beginner. I learnt thunder struck on 30 seconds. Somebody asked I can play it and I said I will be able to in 1 minute. No longer
No they're not 😂
You misplayed shape of my heart..
JUST LEAVE!
brandon just called me intermediate i'm honored
you get two songs for one on shape of my heart
Be careful of bending the string out of tune like that on Snow. It's a common newbie mistake, but as your ears get better those "little bit out of tune" issues can send you over the edge.
Also, check your intonation, it's a bit out. Or your tuning is slightly off, hard to be sure.
He's no doubt 22-23 years old
Barber did him dirty again Damn💀
ill never put myself in a position of others music to define my skill. i play just fine being dumb and fumbling
An intermediate guitarist should be able to play one of the most iconic guitar solos in history?
Why not
None of these songs are particularly difficult. I’d say Californiacation might be the hardest cause of chord shapes.

@@Skvm californication is easy
Same as Stairway and Bo-rap. They're iconic solos that aren't too difficult.

Out of a classical guitar players perspective grade 1 to learn to play it to perfection
i want to see u play goat with no mistakes
Oh I can but by far not as good as Tim Henson it just sounds better when he plays it. And my point is that playing a piece without mistakes is just the first step of mastering it which can take a few weeks but playing a song to perfection often takes a few months

Words of wisdom that should be found hanging on every musical course's walls!
You’re basically calling David, John, and Angus intermediate..
I learned thunderstruck when I started playing guitar
I STILL SEE YOUR SHADOWS IN MY ROOM-
Today I learned I am not an intermediate guitar player.
i think this is a joke, snow is definitely not an intermediate song
Except you played Thunderstruck wrong - Maybe YOU should leave!
It’s not legato, you pick each note!
your thumbnail to this short looks like the close to the edge album cover
One year into guitar and I can finally say I can do the snow hey oh riff at 104 bpm :D (two months were dedicated to that god forsaken riff).
Yoooo sameeee
I STILL SEE YOUR SHADOWS IN MY ROOM
never give up
Once you start getting better after a few years it’s more of just looking at tabs or covers to memorize the song instead of “learning them” like I guess you are learning them in a sense but it’s just you need to memorize tabs you can look at a tab and just start playing it within 10 min😂
yeah exactly. Then you just need to practice different techniques to improve your coordination, but a lot of songs will be that way at about 1500 hours of playing
That's better than the last one
