No need to be knocking Phil for promoting the gear guys, he's living his dream and promoting the accessories that ALSO make overlanding to his style possible..... it's a great help to some of us who are just starting out. Phil ain't no sell out, he just found a way! and he's DOING IT! GOOD ON YA CHIEF!
You managed to get some great sponsors to make it possible for you to pull this off. I'd like to know how you roped them all in. Lol. But it's an impressive list. Look forward to seeing it all come together.
Thank you so much sean! I will do videos about that in the future but I can tell you it has taken time to form all these relationships and most of the sponsors are people I met in person at events, etc. Thanks so much for your support and I'm excited to do some videos talking about sponsorship and how I handle it
Dude! As a huge fan of Jeep Rubicon’s, I have to say that you sold me on the Jeep Gladiator. Your standard Rubicon’s are fantastic for really intense off roading and rock climbing but the Gladiator manages to kick it up a notch. Not only do you have the same off-roading capabilities and the smooth comfort of a Jeep Rubicon but you have the added truck bed which opens up a lot of possibilities! ! The gladiator is definitely the best of both worlds! I’ve been a fan of yours for a while and I absolutely can’t wait to see your final build! I know your camper is going to be super comfortable while still allowing the gladiator to do the best off-roading even though there will be some slight restrictions due to the truck bed camper but I know that’s not going to stop you or hold you back! I wish you the best and hope your build is moving smooth as possible. Take care and I can’t wait to see your next video! Cheers!
Can;t wait to see your Icon suspension, you guys get all the new stuff before it's released. I'm sure everyone is still fine tuning the rear shocks and suspension parts. Great to see your finally building the gladiator, can't wait to see what you do once the bed is off.
why can't u hook the max trax together end to end on better model w/screw in lug bolts. In mud or Snow hving a way to link 4 per side together saves u hve to jack w/them as much. Place them & get back 1 time in mud to place & 1 time to pick them back up by grabbing just last 1 & pulling them set of 4 per side out.
Looking great so far dude. Way to start the build series. Smart to factor in the weight of it for payload reasons to add to the rest of the build. Cant wait to c more.
Hi Phil, thanks for your videos.......I own similar Gladiator and am hoping you will do an analysis/review of your suspension system? That would be a great help!! Thanks again and keep up the great work!! Max
Phil, I really enjoyed today's show. I have a new respect for your hands on capabilities. If you're like me, when you get a package delivered to your door it's like Christmas time in the summer. Thanks Santa! Can't wait for the other mods to arrive. Of course the cherry on top will be when the truck camper arrives. Yeehaa! Take care Phil. Vaughn
Love your videos. You have acquired a lot of sponsors, that seem to have may many of your modifications affordable. Watching many of your videos when you hook up with your friends. Is Tread Lightly no longer a action while off reading? Also for your next build, how about moving away from Toyota, Jeep and the Detroit big three. How about going older affordable trucks and Nissan. Keep Down2Mob
Wait for the finished product to decide. Very interesting balance of capability and livability. Everyone is trying to figure out how to do it Gladiator style.
Sean Craig you’re right we’ll wait and see the finish product but it’s gonna be hard to beat the reliability and simplicity of the old Ram. I guess I’m old fashion ....
We already knew he got the parts, he told several times in different vids, and of course he need to Credit these companys, dont nag when its not needed dude :)
@@klasstefan thanks Klas. Things change as the channel grows, but my personality wont change. Ive been like this since I was a teenager. I do this so I can be myself and have fun adventuring. I'm glad you get it! Thanks
Trying to get on track, Jeep build series on Saturday, throwback thursday episodes, when I get back on the road I'll do a series on that. Doing my best, but thank you for the feedback!
When did this become a Hollywood production with all your own film crew and all that sort of thing I get a kick out of you Hollywood peopleI want to be in the woods off grid and you got this film crew following you LOL laugh my ass off pretty funny actually.....
That's honestly flattering that you think I have a "film crew". These are my best buddies, some from high school, all having a greattime. This is my stepping up my game.
You gonna have some mad jeep right there when you are done man.

Are you up in flagstaff?
Were you using a torque wrench to take it apart? If so I would think a re-calibration is necessary lol. Love this just wish they were longer.
Was thinking the same thing
Nope it's a ratchet with an extension
