In the Season 1 intro and the movie for the oldest Transformers cartoon vehicle modes were incorporated into combat but we rarely saw it in the show itself - my guess is the writers preferred robot vs robot combat
As someone who never got into Transformers, I bought this game back when it came out due to the combat alone and was not disappointed. Platinum is the best!
This has got to be my favorite level of the whole game - even moreso than the entire story campaign Soundwave, Shockwave and Blitzwing on a one-on-one combat doesn't seem so hard, but them working as a team is hellishly strenuous The Hyper-Freeze launcher is my favorite weapon to use, cause you get to play "Round em up Cowboy" and try and freeze two of them if you can herd em in the same spot Good thing this level always kills my boredom
Always like seeing this in my sub box. I havent been playing games too much, but I wanna pick this one back up again. As fun as platinum's new action-rpg direction might be, I hope they return back to this style of classic character-action. Hopefully Bayo3 will make alterations and add some new features to keep us busy!
So is this like Vanquish meets Bayonetta? Also how do you feel about vanquish? I have it but never actually finished it but what i have played feels nice as hell.
I actually own and played Vanquish (haven't finished it yet, in the process of doing so). There are a lot tricks you can do in that game and the movement options and general pace of the game I really like, but there are are some things that I don't like, like how the slow motion activates automatically when you take too much damage or how a melee attack drains all your energy and have to wait to recharge. On Hard Difficulty (that's how I started the campaign) it's kind of annoying.
How can I be a sweat on a single player game? I just love Devastation a whole lot. Like, you see somebody play above average on a game they genuinely enjoy and call them sweats too?
I like how they implement the vehicles in the combat because they were mostly used for transportation in the tv series.

Finally managed to do this with Wheeljack, my main bot. Got an S, been taking tips from your gameplay.
